Really enjoyed our stay. The property was wonderful and had everything needed. My partner commented several times how much he liked the home which he usually never does. Property owner was very responsive and helpful in recommending things to do on a windy/rainy day. The property is in a good area. We typically had breakfast at the house and were out most of the day. Would definitely stay here in the future. Home was quiet which made for a very good night's sleep every night. The property is located close to Ocean Drive so you can get close to the water. Also close to the Hans and Pat Suter wildlife viewing area. Great place to see pelicans and blue herons.

We loved our stay. We added another day. Located with in minutes of the beach, stores, and restaurants. Nice neighborhood. We are lucky to have found this gem. Will be on our return stay location list.

The house is very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well appointed though our trip was short so we didn’t get to do much cooking or grilling. The bedding was very comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet so we got a great nights sleep. We will definitely stay here again when family events bring us to Corpus!

Truly a great experience!

My wife and I want to thank Rebecca and her family for providing a truly great experience. The Bay House was charming and peaceful. The house was well appointed with all of the creature comforts to make our extend stay super easy. We loved the little touches, like a great bed, fine linen, and well stocked kitchen. We also enjoyed the double gas stove, big pantry, fireplace, charming front porch., and large deck. This is the best place to say in Corpus Christi. We look forward to revisiting Corpus Christi next year! We also want to give a shout-out to an awesome restaurant down town, The Water Street Oyster Bar. The Brattons

Amazing Bay House Stay!!!

I’ve stayed in several vacation rentals and the hosts were by far the most accommodating I’ve experienced. The ocean is just a couple blocks from the home and can be seen from the front window. The accommodations were on par with a nice hotel stay minus all the employee interruptions. The hosts knew that I was not accustomed to CC weather and made sure I knew were hurricane supplies and tools were and what to do during the hurricane that was supposed to arrive during my stay. They checked in with me several times and made me feel like family. I would absolutely stay in this rental if I find myself in CC again.

Adal was a truly lovely guest, incredibly tidy, sweet, responsive, and considerate. We sincerely hope she will come again. She came a long way to visit Corpus Christi and we are thrilled that she enjoyed her stay with us. We had all kinds of weather, including a hurricane threat and plenty of rain. And then, a cool front came in which was heavenly and pleased she got to experience a taste of our fine fall weather. Thank you Adal!

The Bay House is my family home, where I grew up, and we’ve put a lot of love into caring for it and updating it over the years. Built in 1938, it’s a classic coastal home with screened windows that capture the most amazing cross-breeze on a fine day.

We love spending time on the front and back patios, choosing the perfect spot depending on the time of day. The property has plenty of green space, shaded by mature oak trees, and a backyard vegetable garden that guests are welcome to enjoy—whether harvesting, planting, or simply relaxing nearby.

Practical features add to the charm: the covered carport easily accommodates a 20’ trailered boat and vehicle, making it a great home base for guests who enjoy fishing, sailing, or surfing. Whether your passion is hunting, gardening, or simply cooking, chilling, and eating, this home is the perfect launch point for year-round adventures.

For larger groups or extended families, we also offer a sister property next door. Bay House II, also known as “The Big House,” is separated by a private garden and lawn area, yet close enough to gather together. Heading south towards the beach over the Kenedy Causeway, you're a short drive to Padre Island, The National Seashore, and Port Aransas.
