The hosts were wonderfully warm and welcoming! We enjoyed touring the farm and hearing about the kindness they extend even to animals in need.Hoping to go back, someday, in summer so we can see the garden in full bloom.

Carol was very communicative. The unit was easy to locate and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The place felt very cozy and comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!

The property does not appear to be on a farm.The entrance to the rental was not marked at all. I had to see property owner just to show me the door.Ceilings were slanted and I bonked my head.I could not figure out the tv at allAnd if you enter the wifi incorrectly it shuts you out.Oh and yeah if you can get sleep good luck.The dog barks all night long

Hi Kori, I'm so sorry you did not enjoy your stay. Our farm, animals - geese, chickens, donkeys, yaks, and gardens are just up the hill. We offer a farm tour to all guests. We are here and available for wifi, TV or barking dog issues. Our dog sleeps in our bedroom at night, she wouldn't have been barking all night. Our check-in instructions tell you that the door is at the back of the house - we will add a sign on the door (thanks for that input). We've never-ever had a rating like this, please review our other reviews. I don't understand this review at all, it seems mean-spirited. Hoping you find what you're looking for (somewhere else). We loved our stay at Hawk Mountain Farm! Carol and Dave provided lovely accommodations making us feel comfortable and cozy at their home. Highly recommend especially for those that enjoy skiing!

Great place to stay for a ski weekend

This cozy little place is perfect for weekend skiing. It’s a short 25 minute drive to Okemo. Great big living room and kitchen stocked with essentials. We really love having this sweet spot to stay at.

Peaceful and lovely country farmhouse

We felt very comfortable in the spacious apartment. It was quiet and inviting to sit outs and to stroll around the property. The hosts Carol and David were friendly and hospitable.

No where in the listing did it say ATTIC apt..just apt on a farm. Sounded relaxing til I got there encountered a narrow steep set of stairs leading to the attic. Im 79 yo. Would never and have never booked a unit with stairs. Eliminated better properties because of stairs . Too narrow and steep to get my luggage up. Had to use my hands on the steps for fear of falling. The shower..talking about fear of falling, had a sloped former in the back of it. Step back hit a wall with head or back.say goodbye to elderly visitor. Spent 1 night out of the 4 i paid for, lugged everything back down those stairs snd went to a hotel for an additional 600. Notified the owner. Heard back basically "sorry". I would like to be refunded for the 3 nights i didn't stay for fear of falling on the stairs or in the shower.

Best little get away

My husband and I love visiting Dave and Carol‘s place this time we got to meet all of the fun animals and enjoy fresh chicken, eggs, and goose egg! They are so welcoming and have a sweet little place to stay while we are skiing. We look forward to staying again.

Nice farmhouse with great hosts, very attentive to messages. The apartment was cozy, with all the necessities needed! I would suggest to attempt to get there during daylight hours. The road leading to their drive is long and muddy, with lots of divots, which in the dark are not easily seen, but are felt! Seems that it should be a one-way road, there's not much room to pull over, and doing so in the dark can cause you to go way over a hillside! Beautiful area though!!!

So very relaxing and comfortable. Carol and Davey are extremely pleasant and accommodating. Baltimore has its own atmosphere up there and is the Best. Thanks again and cannot wait to go back there at the end of the month.

Peaceful getaway

Pleasant stay within a short drive of Okemo. The linens had a heavy dousing from the dryer sheets, but otherwise was perfect.

Hello! I'm a native Vermonter who moved away, then came back with a new appreciation for my home state. I've worked in the non-profit world for a lot of my life. Hawk Mountain Farm is my family home. Our farm is about simple living, outdoor appreciation with lots of animals, gardens and outdoor living - we want to share it with you.

Our property is scenic and serene, off the beaten path, and part of the very vibrant Okemo Valley Region with tons to see and do and outstanding dining options. Be as busy as you want, or maybe not, its up to you.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our farm provides lots of beautiful mountain views and the company of farm animals - chickens, donkeys (rescue) and two Tibetan yaks. We have expansive outdoor living space, pergola, outside dining, fire pit, lots of flowering plants and a large vegetable garden. The apartment is upstairs (12 steps), very private with it's own entrance and dedicated parking. It has a full service kitchen with dishes, utensils, pots & pans. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, overhead fan, 43" HD TV, recliner and bookcase with books. The bathroom has supply of soft towels, a lighted medicine cabinet, bathtub/shower. The living room has a leather reclining couch, fold-out futon, recliner chair, 43" HD TV, bookcase/books, internet.
