Alejarse de todo en sólo unas pocas horas !! Pasar unas vacaciones fabulosas en el bucólico, Vermont escénica en su propio rincón del mundo, con fácil acceso a todo lo que necesita.

Paz y tranquilidad, y tachonado de estrellas cielos - este apartamento privado por encima de nuestro garaje en hermosa propiedad en las montañas verdes es un éxito inmediato con todos nuestros clientes. Es la perfecta escapada familiar o escapada romántica. Senderos para caminatas y ciclismo de montaña, motos de nieve o raquetas de nieve son fuera de su puerta. Dé un paseo hasta el lago para nadar, o la pesca. O salir por la gran cantidad de azúcar de arce. Canoa o kayak los lagos prístinos de todo el área de uso de nuestros barcos o la suya. Otros servicios que incluyen estación de montaña de Okemo, grandes restaurantes y tiendas en la tienda del país de Vermont son sólo 5 a 15 minutos. Killington, Bromley y Stratton montañas son sólo el 35 a 45 minutos. Es en el alce y oso hábitat de Mount Holly donde se puede encontrar la vida silvestre si eres paciente y alerta!

La planta abierta cuenta con un techo y pisos de madera. Hay un bello mármol y cereza isla desayuno con excelentes vistas del corredor oso protegida en Killington Montaña. Cuenta con una escalera de caracol a la buhardilla que es un gran sueño y la zona de escondite para los más pequeños! En la planta principal los dos dormitorios están divididos por puertas de bolsillo. Uno tiene una cama de matrimonio y el otro con una cama doble. La cocina está equipada con una máquina de hielo, cafetera y fregadero de la barra.

Refrescar su cuerpo y alma en las verdes montañas de Vermont. Internet wi-fi disponible, pero no es aconsejable de trabajo - no hay mucho que hacer !!

We had a wonderful time in VT. Enjoyed skiing and boarding at Mt.Okemo near by.

Wonderful place to stay!! The apartment was perfect for us, clean, cozy, had everything we needed for two families vacationing for a week. Beautiful view, lots of walking trails near by, close to Okemo. We will definitely be back!!

The Perfect Stay!

This was the perfect home base for my best friend and I as we explored Vermont! Cozy and peaceful with stunning views! We felt very safe and secure with Brigid on site and she was able to offer advice on where to go and what to do. Nothing beats curling up here with a good book after a day of adventure! Will 100% stay again!

Beautiful Country Retreat

The property was absolutely beautiful. The apartment we stayed in was roomy and very comfortable. Best of all our pets were welcome. Brigid, our host, was friendly and very helpful. Will definitely stay there again. Exceeded our expectations.

Great Get Away

The location was pefect for our visit. The property is with-in 30 -40 mins. of Manchester, Mt. Snow, Pico / Killington, and Okemo. We stayed for a long weekend and it couldn't have worked out better. The host, Brigid, was great and made sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this property and will stay again.

A great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Brigid did a great job communicating with us and giving us a tour of the place when we arrived. It was great knowing Brigid was on site in case we had any questions or concerns, but our accommodations were far enough away from her living quarters that we felt like we had the place to ourselves. There was plenty of room, and the kitchen was great for preparing meals. Everything was nicely decorated and felt cozy and welcoming, and matched the listing. We would definitely stay here again if staying in the area!

Just as Advertised!

Perfect spot for weekend away to ski at Okemo! Will certainly book again if available next season. Quiet spot. Beautiful views of mountain. Quick drive to Okemo. We felt right at home as soon as Brigid welcomed us in and showed us around. So glad we found this gem!

Amazing

We rent through Vrbo pretty often, but this property was one of the cleanest we have ever been. The host, Brigid, lives on the premises, but you feel like you have the house to yourself. I would highly recommend. Amazing place, less than 15 minutes drive to Okemo. We had a blast and I hope we will be able to come back.

Great Vermont Getaway

This is a perfect rental for anytime of year. You feel like you have the wing of the house to yourself with total privacy. The rental is spacious and the beds are comfortable. There is everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals. The host, Bridget is the best! She was always available and gave great advice on local entertainment venues and restaurants. Since this rental is in central Vermont, you can easily access all of the great things that Vermont has to offer. I highly recommend this rental. It's a great place for a large family to stay.

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing time staying this Green Mountain apartment. The property was easy to access and very well maintained, a separate entrance to the apartment with easy access to the garage for trash/recycling. The apartment was very nicely appointed and the day light was wonderful and the landscape view was very relaxing. The apartment had everything that you would need to fix a quick meal or dinner and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We had a very relaxing stay and the location is very close to Okemo, Crowley Cheese and Maple ice cream. We are definitely coming back again!

wonderful VT stay

Brigid is top notch. The open living room/kitchen layout was spacious and provided a great view regardless of the weather. For coffee enthusiasts the percolator in the kitchen made great brews. Okemo mountain close by for winter activities and lots of great hiking trails at Green Mountain which is a 30-40 minute drive. The local general store had some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. If you need groceries or restaurant options Ludlow is nearby. Overall a fantastic stay and looking forward to seeing Brigid and Wilder again down the road!

Great ski vacation!

Brigid is an awesome host. She was always there to help. She added more toys when she saw my 3 young boys. Her dog Wilder is so calm and enjoys being around the children as well as the children like being around him. Brigid also showed my children around, gave them sleds and they had a blasts in her backyard. The place is super nice, has an amazing view and is well equipped. 10 minutes from Okemo Ski Resort. Perfect for a ski vacation.

FANTASTIC

The only down side was - too short a period of time!! Our hosts were fantastic and the accommodations were perfect, the girls spent all rainy day Tuesday in the Loft. We loved being visited by Wilder the owner's dog, at our request of course. Thanks for sharing him it made us miss our Chelsea "black lab" less. Thanks Dean, Deb, Alyse, Lauren & Emily.

Wonderful Winter Retreat

This property was absolutely lovely! My friend and I stayed here to have a weekday winter retreat and ski Okemo. We drove through a bit of bad weather and arrived later than planned and Brigid stayed up to welcome us and get us settled. The space was awesome with a lovely open plan design so it felt very homey. The bedrooms were great and it can comfortably fit 8 people. We were 15 minutes from Okemo Mountain which was awesome! Brigid even gave us advice and support if we needed it. She really is the kindest host who wants you to have a great stay. I will absolutely be re-booking this as it's perfect for a getaway with friends or family. The location can't be beat and Brigid is the best.

Dream-like place melts all your stress away..

We had terrific little vacation in VT and enjoyed Brigit's house tremendously. Every day was gorgeous and we could dine outside and enjoy warm morning sun at breakfast and gaze at brightest stars I've ever seen at night. Apartment is quite spacious and has everything you need, beds are very comfortable. Our host Brigit is terrific and having her nearby was actually great as she was very helpful any time we needed anything , whether to drop kayak and canoe for us to enjoy at nearby lake or to deal with smoke alarms that our cooking has set off . Her dog Wilder was terrific host to our dog Jack as well , who had best time of his life running around the meadow . Jack is a mix of hound/black lab and not even 3 years old yet and so his energy is a bit over the top , but both Wilder and Brigit were very understanding. The location of cottage was convenient for us to visit many places in VT - one day we drove to Burlington to drop off my son at college, another day we hiked up Okemo mountain, and another day we drove to Lake George and spent some time boating on a lake. It might be worth noting that hiking up the Okemo mountain is not an easy task ( trail is 3 miles to the summit) and it took us about 3 hours to get up ( we took many breaks) and almost 2 hours to get down and I had aching muscles and joints next day , but the views from the summit are worth it. There is also a way to drive up the mountain and then take very short walk up to the summit. Overall we had terrific stay at the cottage and were a bit sad to leave

Great Apartment in Great Location

Wonderful time at the house - great place to relax after a day of skiing or snowshoeing or whatever you want to do… hostess was a awesome - worked through bad weather with us and made sure everything was tip top.

Ski weekend

We were very happy at our rental. Bridget met us when we arrived to welcome us and our dogs. The rental was just like the pictures and very clean. We are looking forward to another stay this year and next year as well.

Vermont in the summer!

The property is spectacular. Everything we could want in Vermont in the summer. Brigid is a lovely host, her property is beautiful and her sweet dog very welcoming of our pup. Definitely recommend!

Amazing!

We had a wonderful stay with our children and dog. Brigid is lovely and helpful and the house /property/area are all beautiful. We picked raspberries on the property, went hiking, spent a day at a nearby lake, watched the stars at night. We’ll be back for sure.

Our family feels fortunate to be able to enjoy the beautiful seasons of Vermont and wants to share it with our guests. We are experienced world travelers and understand what you need to be comfortable away from home. Family ancestors were early settlers in Mount Holly. We love to share local history and great spots to visit. In the summer and fall enjoy the vegetables and herbs from our gardens.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The apartment, attached to our home, with the same spectacular views, is a secret hide away. It is on a dead-end dirt road in a tiny, wonderful Vermont hamlet. At the opposite end of our living areas, the apartment is private and cozy. The property has been a family summer home since the 1940's.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The landscape is beautiful and it is so peaceful and quiet here. You can hear the winds whispering in the trees or howling in a blizzard and then it is quiet again. The skies are clear at night and the stars are spectacular. Venturing outdoors at night is an amazing experience to be cherished. Walk to the village for coffee and pastry or a sandwich. Enjoy the lake with a refreshing swim or ice skating or fishing. Don't forget your camera as every day is different and the scenery is stunning.
The Village is charming with the historical museum open on summer weekends. Family style dinners at the Odd Fellow Hall are delicious and a taste of real Vermont. Fireworks and the bonfire, skating and hot chocolate on New Years Eve are right out of Currier and Ives.
Music on the Green during the summer is a relaxing way to spend a great evening.
