Nearby attractions
Bon secours beach, Porte St Pierre, with its seawater swimming pool and sailing club on the beach. At low tide, you can go to the Ile du Grand Bé, where Chateaubriand's tomb is located.
All the shops are within easy walking distance of the flat.
Visits
La Demeure de Corsaire, Rue d'Asfeld, a private mansion, part of which is open to visitors. Museums, the Cathedral, tour of the ramparts, guided tours available from the Tourist Office at Porte St Vincent, at the foot of the ramparts outside.
From the Place St Vincent, you can catch the bus to all parts of Saint-Malo and take the little train for a guided historical tour of the town.

Rue de l'Orme, also known as Rue Gourmande, is a great place to discover local produce:
Butters and cheeses from Bordier, Babas de Saint-Malo, seasonal fruit and vegetables in the 4 seasons, fresh fish from the Guinemer fishmonger, as well as numerous restaurants, such as Breizh café, Cambusier, or down the street l'Absynthe.

On the Place Chateaubriand, you can enjoy excellent seafood at the Café de l'Ouest, the best burgers at the Lion d'or, a Sunday lunch at the Maison Générale for the pleasure of your taste buds and eyes (reservations recommended), and discover the friendly Cargo Culte restaurant, with its home cooking, tarts, salads, tartines and soups on the menu, all decorated in a brocante style. La Duchesse Anne crêperie, a historic establishment not to be missed.
In the evening, you can choose between a Celtic atmosphere at St Patrick's, or the festive atmosphere of the belle époque.
