The property was spacious, clean, and very accommodating for two families. The games & poker in the basement were a lot of fun. The kids enjoyed having the loft to themselves upstairs.

Great Cabin weekend get away

This cabin was spacious enough that my daughters and their families had their own space but yet we could all be together as well. Kids loved the loft area, claimed their beds right away, and they lost their minds when they saw the games. Beautiful view off the back deck. Loved our time here at the Big Cabin.

Bike run fun

We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfy bed. Loved sitting on front and back porches. No bugs!!!! We ended up with half the group we planned but we had fun!

Thanksgiving Weekend

We enjoyed the cabin, it is so big and roomy. Had everything we needed to cook with, lots of towels, dishes and the games were ok. The TV in the game room did not work, there was no password for the Wi-Fi, so we watched Netflix the whole time we were there. If you are looking for a roomy, easy to find place , this is it.

summer vacation

we greatly enjoyed our stay at the Big Overlook cabin.Two of the twin matresses were worn out.Otherwise no complaints.Had plenty of room with nine adults.thanks for sharing your cabin with us.

Big cabin family 4th

When we walked in it looked clean but as we settled in we discovered it was dirty everywhere. The mattresses were stained, & there was actually food folded up in one of the matresses (Pop tart), there was not proper bed linens for the pull-out beds, trash under the beds, not just dirt / dust, but trash. We ran out of trash bags, batteries in several remotes & a smoke detector were out & the propane tank was empty for the grill. However, the kitchen was well equipped.

We had a great time!

The property itself was beautiful. Or family did enjoy our stay. Heres some things i noticed... All the doors and windows were super heavy and hard to open. We planned on playing games but the air hockey table was broke on one side and the skee ball table had zero balls. There is a bullet hole in the living room window that went through one layer of glass. (Kinda sketchy). Went to use the grill and it still had foil and left over food from whoever stayed previously. There was several dirty, sticky utensils in the drawers. But all in all we had fun. ❤️

Perfect family Vacation Rental

We just returned from our 5 night stay at the Big Cabin. There were 8 of us. My husband and I, our 3 adult children, 2 teens and our 5 year old. This cabin was beautiful! We had plenty of room for us all to enjoy meals together, sit on the porch or living rooms but also plenty of room for us all to spread out and unwind away from everyone. My kids all loved the games. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying coffee with the beautiful view of the lake. The kitchen had everyrhing we needed to make large family meals. The owners really thought of everything to make this place great. We are looking forward to coming back to the area and will most definitely book with the overlook cabins again. Thanks so much for making our trip amazing!

Perfect place for what we needed!

In town for my sons fishing tournament, perfect location for us to bring her boat and have some privacy! We will be back next year!
