Designer's Seaside Getaway in Montecito, easy walk to beach and cafe

Welcome to The American Riviera!

Enjoy the best of Montecito from our centrally located cottage. A 7 minutes walk to Butterfly Beach or a 2 minutes walks to the restaurants and cafes on Coast Village Road. Four Seasons Biltmore and Rosewood Miramar are just down the beach. Santa Barbara' s famed State Street is a short 10 minute drive.

Professionally decorated, our home is designed for both in and outdoor living . It's an eclectic mixture of mid-century cool with boho chic elements. The living room is tastefully decorated with a large comfortable sofa, gas fireplace, bluetooth speaker and large HD flat screen smart TV.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a Nespresso coffee machine and curated selection of tea from Art of Tea. There's hot and cold filtered water at the sink. Our monogrammed water bottles are provided for your hikes around the Santa Ynez Mountains.

The bright and cheer dining area shares a space with open kitchen plan. The Carrara marble top tulip table is accompanied with Eiffel inspired chairs and bench that seats 6.

In the bathroom, we have carefully selected sustainable bathing products from Public Goods for your use. Dedicated make up removal towels and other bathing essentials are also provided.

Chill in our fully furnished front or back yard. Snuggle up and read a book, BBQ, or make your own s'mores in the fire pit. Or grab a beach towel and your surf board, head down to the beach. Enjoy the outdoor shower with warm water for hosing off your sandy feet afterwards. You have the entire compound to yourself.

EV charger is provided for you to fuel up for the next leg of your journey.

Great stay

Great house, set up, location and space to enjoy. House is well equipped with most all items needed. Fun to have the ping pong, fire pit and corn hole. Highly recommend for an excellent space to stay in the heart of Montecito.

We loved the house and yard. Suggested improvements could be a privacy fence by neighbors doing construction. The shower seemed to have a sulfur smell that was strong.But overall we had a great time!

Perfect gathering spot for a memorable weekend

This property was the absolute perfect location for our weekend with family visiting from the Netherlands. The house is beautifully maintained, well appointed, and sits on a large lot with ample front and back yards, enclosed and private. The sunlight poured into large windows while we visited, sipped coffee, played games. We did not use our cars at all as we walked everywhere: the beach(several times), dinner, coffee, pharmacy etc. Highly, highly recommend and we would definitely look forward to staying again!

Perfect place for the quintessential SB getaway

This property couldn't have been more perfect for our family of 5 + dog. From booking, to check-in info, and on throughout the stay, owners were quick to respond and communicative. The home was immaculate, and their attention to detail in providing for a high-class stay was just top-notch. Location can't be beat, allowing for easy walks to nearby Butterfly Beach and many dining options along Coast Village Road. Short drives up to the Zoo and Museum of Natural History topped off our relaxing visit to SB. Thank you, Tres Perros!

Incredible location!!

We flew into Santa Barbara and rented a car, though turns out a car isn’t necessary due to the ideal location. It is a quick walk to Butterfly beach in one direction or downtown, with plenty of restaurants, in the other direction! The house and lawn are perfectly set up for a relaxing weekend. And immaculately clean, just as the pictures show. The owners made it easy for us to check in early- thanks again! We hope to be back!

Perfect location

Wow! What a perfect few days in Montecito. Pat and May were beyond gracious hosts and their home was charming, beautiful, cozy and the outdoor space created so much extra room for our family to relax and enjoy. From the fire pit to the boogie boards, not to mention everything inside that we needed to make ourselves comfortable — the home is perfectly located to walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach. We will definitely be back!

Great cozy dog friendly cottage

House was cute and clean and had everything you can imagine you would need. It is the perfect setup to vacation with your furry friends. Perfect and private fenced yard, doggie area and even poop bags provided. The bed is comfortable, the shower has great pressure and hot water. The location and the area is perfect. Walking distance to the beach and downtown area. Close to the freeway. Exactly what I wanted to take my old pup on vacation. I have to mention how incredibly dog friendly the owners and the area are. It allowed us to shop, hike, dine, walk beach time and we even took him to the wharf and Santa Barbara. It is also worth the short and beautiful ride to the mountains and lake and checking out surrounding towns like Solvang. Absolutely perfect.

Perfect stay in Montecito

We booked this for 6 days over Thanksgiving. It was absolutely perfect for my kids and I. It’s great that it has a room with twin beds instead of another queen bed as many rentals do. The house is more spacious than it shows in the pictures. It’s a new home with old world charm. The yard was so spacious and perfect for our dog to run around. There was a lot of room between the neighboring homes (along with tall hedges) and gives a lot of privacy. There is a train nearby but I didn’t even notice it much. I think the hedges block most of the sound. The area is really pretty and walkable to the lower village of Montecito. I brought my own roasting pan for the turkey but everything else was well stocked as far as dishes and cooking goes. There’s a beautiful view of the mountains as well. Just a great stay!

Last minute get away…

We were so happy to find this place, after our European trip was cancelled, at the last minute. We love this area the home is in and it couldn’t have been nicer! Very well taken care of and extremely comfortable for our small family. We look forward to staying again.

Great stay in Montecito!

We had a wonderful stay Christmas week. The house was cozy and warm even in the coldest month in Santa Barbara. We used the fireplace and the house heaters and it was super warm. We made use of the kitchen for dinner. We had everything we needed except a blender or mixer but we figured it out with the tools on hand. We used both bedrooms and the pullout couch. Everything was very clean and organized. It was an easy walk to town. We walked every day even in the rain because it was just so close. The 2 teenagers were comfortable so that means it was perfect for us. We don’t usually stay at the same place twice but we may definitely be back to Hedgerow.

There's something magical about this property. It was in the previous owner's family for sixty years. We look forward to be part of the community for sixty more. We love the neighborhood and the location. Montecito has all the charm of a small town and yet the convenience of a City. This property is bright and cheery, and lots of outdoor room for our family to enjoy.

We've created this private little oasis for the enjoyment of our family, a quick romantic getaway, and sharing it with our special guests. The front patio area is created for relaxing and enjoying the moment of Zen. The large expansive backyard is created for family enjoyment for cookout and play. There's a BBQ grill for cooking, a wood burning firepit for s'mores, cornhole games and seesaw for playing, and a convertible ping pong/dining table for al fresco dining and a game of ping pong afterwards.
