Great condo close to the beach! (just a few minute walk). From there balcony there is a spot between buildings you can see the ocean. This unit was clean, newly painted, beds comfortable and nice linens. Appliances used all worked and plenty of dishes, pots & pans. Basics of salt & pepper were there, liquid hand soaps, dish & laundry soap. The living room was quite bare with just one sofa, no coffee or end tables. Host responded quickly to my inquiry of the missing sofa from the pictures on-line. Said they were in the process of replacing it. Those items would really make the stay more comfortable & enjoyable! Check in instructions were good and glad to have a heads up about the front door & lock. Lots of rust on and around the door and stairs. Costal air clearly isn’t kind to metal. Door and key pad lock need to be replaced. Not sure what was up with the “heated” pool as it was really cold. Our stay was there during the last week of December which was cold so maybe it was too much to keep the beautiful pool heated. I would choose to stay here again after making sure all the furniture was there!

A perfect location and property for a visit to Whitecap Beach in Corpus Christi. Just a short 4 minute walk to the beach, the condo was great for a 3-day trip to the Gulf with our two grandkids. The beds are comfortable and the condo is STOCKED with everything you might want to enjoy your vacation. Appliances, dishware, pots, towels, beach equipment, etc. The communication from Brett was outstanding throughout and he was willing to take feedback related to the exterior of the property. Clearly, the HOA has not matched Brett's investment in his condo which is very clean and spacious. The exterior is dilapidated and needs painting; however, the pool and grill area were well maintained and we utilized both throughout the trip. I highly recommend this condo if you do not caught up in the exterior appearance and want a primo location for a vacation at Whitecap Beach which is beautiful.

Weekend Stay at the Beach

The overall stay was great. The condo was nice and a very short walk to the beach. The bathrooms were a great size! The covered patio and grills at the complex were shaded, we used the grills a few times. The complex pool was underwhelming and has no shade but the kids still enjoyed it. They overall, would recommend.

Very nice condo! Not very nice communication and response. The first night, at midnight, the smoke detector started beeping evey 30 minutes. Messaged the host, who is not local and not the owner. He said he would contact the owner and never heard from them again. Also, alerted them the clothes dryer was very loud, like had to shout to talk to each other. The pool is fantastic! Love the short walk to the beach. It has a section separate from where cars can drive. Beautiful beach days!Used a key for the front door. It was very difficult to lock and unlock! Beds were very comfortable and tvs were large and very nice. Showers had lots of hot water and good pressure. Nice view from the balcony. Location was fantastic! Would definitely stay again if the dryer and lock are resolved!

Not happy

It was hard to get into the door because the lock is messed up. The floors were not swept or mopped. The pullout couch had dirt and hair all over it. The smoke detector kept beeping. The dryer was very loud. No lights in the swimming pool to be able to swim. Had to message the host several times before they finally called me in the afternoon. But nothing was done.

When we first arrived the apartment was not clean but Brett immediately took care of it and got his cleaning crew out there to clean. The exterior of the property could use a major repaint. The apartment is nice and the patio has a good view of the beach and we enjoyed the walking distance to the beach. Good size for a family of 5!

We really enjoyed our stay, the condo was equipped with everything and in a great location. The only downfall was the key was extremely hard to turn in the lock - which isn’t the owners fault, just the saltwater.

Great location

The location made this space convenient, it's an 8 min walk to the beach or a 4 min drive. There are a lot of convenient restaurants and shops in the area, also a bonus is the pool on the property with a grill eating area. The apartment itself was not very clean upon arriving, we found several dead bugs and dirty laundry left in the washer from the cleaners. The internet and TVs were not working and I wasn't able to get a response with the property managers until the next day, which they did resolve on our last day. Overall it wasn't bad for a last min trip, we would stay in the area again.

Overall a good experience

Overall the stay was good. The condo was clean and everything was functioning. The host sent clear check-in/check-out instructions, but he forgot to tell us the condo number. I tried a few door lock boxes before I found the one that opened so it ended up ok - just made for a stressful situation when we got there. The property was nice but some loud guests at the pool partied until very late and kept some of us from sleeping. Not a huge deal since it is a vacation spot. I would stay here again but would also entertain another location.

So Many Good Things to Say

So many good things to note about this condo that stands out from other places we’ve stayed. I thought this was the perfect location for the beach. There is a nice, easy trail to access it. It’s on the 3rd floor and that’s great because there is no noise from the stairway. People there were very friendly. Although there was music and kids playing outside, it was quiet inside. We were there during Spring Break and it did not feel crowded and there were no problems with people getting out of hand. It was more of a family setting. You will have no problem finding great restaurants that serve fresh, homemade food. I have greatly appreciated the care that has been put into this place. The condo is nice and it felt clean and comfortable. The high temperature outdoors got up to about 85 and we stayed nice and cool sleeping. My favorites were having plenty of towels and blankets, clean beds and bathrooms, not running out of hot water and a nice well working washer and dryer! A lot of thought was put in for the guests and we really appreciated it!

Convenient to walk the beach

Great family vacation!

We enjoyed our stay here! They had everything you needed for the beach, including 2 wagons, an umbrella, and 2 chairs. The beds were comfy, the condo was clean and Brett was very responsive with any questions! The beach is about a 5 min walk along the path. The pool and outdoor grills are right when you walk down the steps of the condo. The outdoor shower next to the pool was great to rinse off before coming back in the condo. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place

Close to beach. Cold weather weekend but had enough blankies and heat. No complaints. Short on a few bath/ shower gel supplies but that’s a housekeeping agency issue not an owner issue.
