This beautiful, modern mountain home offers everything you and your family and friends could want on your vacation get-away to the historic town of Ouray. From the open kitchen concept, to the bar in the living room, to the back yard patio... this home lends itself well to entertaining or just kicking up your feet and relaxing.

The place is quite spacious: two bedrooms with king sized beds, a third bedroom that could sleep three with a queen/twin bunk bed and luxurious loft space with a queen sleeper sofa. The upstairs master suite has a large bathroom with a two persons shower, a small private deck overlooking the backyard and a flat screen tv for late night movies.

Enjoy the cozy living room, snuggle up to the fire, shake a few cocktails or turn on the large flat screen tv and watch some Netflix. You will also find a brand new grill on the front deck. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary cooking utensils, appliances and plenty of glassware for any beverages you might bring along.

Relax out back under the old pine trees on the new brick patio with gas fire table. Park your car in the garage if you'd like... there is room for one guest vehicle, bicycles, skis, etc.

Owners, Hans and Cory, have been in the Hospitality business for many years and also currently own a restaurant in town. Brickhouse 737 is a gathering place that focuses on community, farm-fresh ingredients, hospitality and travel-inspired dishes. They have been successful in providing their guests with contemporary American cuisine that is both creative and approachable. Brickhouse 737 is currently ranked number one on TripAdvisor and Yelp. The downstairs unit is rented out to employees at Brickhouse737. They will respect your privacy. Please respect theirs. Keep in mind that you are staying in a residential neighborhood, be respectful of other properties and please limit your noise level after 10pm.

We loved the cabin, the view, the location and the nearby hikes! Watch for hidden driveways and maybe use low gear on the circular driveway to keep traction getting from the highway to the cabin. We had to back up to avoid hitting another car backing out of their driveway and low gear was the only way to get our vehicle up the hill and around the turn. It was pretty exciting, but others might appreciate a warning.

Excellent property and hosts

This place was epic. Easily the best stocked kitchen BnB we've ever stayed at. I documented what type of knives and pans they were because they were so good. The neighborhood was quiet, the firepit was great, and there's even a neighborly golden retriever that comes by to say hi anytime you're outside. We'll definitely stay again.

This place was amazing. Modern but rustic, with a warm fireplace and picturesque windows of mountain views. Right by the hot springs and a few minutes from the climbing park… this was a perfect place to stay in Ouray!

The views from the house were incredible . The outdoor propane fireplace was so inviting and comfortable to sit by at the end of the day. The location was a very short distance from downtown Ouray.

Excellent house

The views were stunning, kitchen had everything you could possibly need, location was great. We walked/biked everywhere. Outdoor patios were lovely including the comfy couch and fire pit . Love this place!

We chose to stay here during our Colorado elopement. The pictures of us turned out amazing at the house beforehand and the location is perfect to get wherever you need to go. All the beds were super comfy and it everything we could need was at the house! I would stay there again when we come back to Ouray!

Great property in a great location. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated. All appliances and amenities are top of the line. Large enough to comfortably accommodate a family of 8. Cory was very responsible when we had a few questions. We will definitely stay here again if visiting Ouray in the future.

Perfect Getaway

We truly loved the property and our stay - the perfect setting for a holiday getaway with girlfriends. The outdoor seating area was home to lots of laughs and animal sightings! This is a GREAT place if you are looking for proximity to town, dining, shopping, etc. It's a quiet neighborhood even with all the tourist traffic. It's also very well kept and seems to be in a safe area. A couple of things I would note for others: if anyone in your party has trouble with walking, the pathway to the main door is a bit cumbersome. It's made of rock/boulders/flagstone and some of them shift under weight. While lighting exists, we noted that it didn't come on until well after dark and for my tastes, needed double the amount of lamps to accurately see the uneven steps. (Bring a flashlight or use the app on your phone.) Second, for the price range we paid, I expected a much better shower head than the Motel 6 variety found here. Who puts a 5 shower head on a million dollar home? The shower curtain looked like something found in a college dorm room. Heavy staining and discoloration like it hadn't been cleaned in months. (The tub and walls seemed very clean.)Overall, I would choose to stay here again. It is a very comfortable, beautiful, and convenient location for all ages. Just wish it was a bit more user-friendly to the elderly population given what was mentioned about the walking path. Any maybe throw in a Keurig for the kitchen?? ;-)-The Stirman Family
