Luxury Apartment - Jardin Du Luxembourg - Quartier Latin

This luxury apartment is on the second US floor ( one floor up from the street) accessible with an elevator. It has been decorated with taste and attention to details.

The property has 4 separated rooms plus kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a full bed. There is an elegant living room with a large flat screen TV and a comfortable sofa. Next to it, the fourth room is a dining room with a table big enough for 10 guests. The modern kitchen is fully equipped. It has a large stove. The bathroom is modern and very pleasant to use..

You can go to from one bedroom to any room without disturbing the persons in the other bedroom.

According to Parisians, its location is the most pleasant district of Paris, the 5th arrondissement. What do you think about having a view on the Val de Grace church, and cruising in rue Mouffetard and Rue Monge, known for their typical markets and Parisian atmosphere, and next to Luxembourg garden.

It felt like a real neighborhood, away from most of the tourist spots, but within close proximity to everything. We found some wonderful restaurants along Rue Saint Jacques, Blvd. Montparnasse, Rue Vavin, and around the Luxembourg Gardens.

The Val de grace, which is few yards away, is a Military Hospital built in the XVII° century and offers the second nicest church and 'Dôme' of Paris after the Invalides. It is in a very nice area, with the Luxembourg Garden, Pantheon and Sorbonne all less than 5 minutes away.

A seven-minute walk south then right on the boulevard du Montparnasse and then past the Vavin Metro stop takes you to a bustling area of up-scale cafés and creperies. Several of the cafés are historically famous, and were frequented by Hemingway, Chagall, Matisse, and Picasso. The café Closerie des Lilas, at the corner of boulevard du Montparnasse and boulevard St-Michel, is where Hemingway penned 'The Sun Also Rises' in a mere two weeks. This area really comes alive late at night.

The fresh food market on Blvd. Port Royal is friendly and full of seasonal fruits and vegetables as well as game and all kinds of cheese. There is also a wonderful boucherie just off Rue St. Jacques and Blvd. Port Royal as well as Rue Val de Grace.

This property was as advertised!! The place was extremely comfortable and Josette was a pleasure. Highly recommend this place. We had 2 couples and we had plenty of space and the neighborhood is wonderful and away from the craziness of a tourist spot.

Josette was wonderful in every way as our host. Not only did she meet us with open arms to show us our space with every necessary detail, she made us feel comfortable and left us a sweet treat and drinks in the refrigerator. This was the epitome of a delightful Parisian pied a terre. Our hostess Josette is a very lovely and gracious lady who was always available if we needed her. However since everything was perfect in the apartment we never needed to contact her. Great location. Very comfortable bed. Very modern bath and kitchen. We loved this place and felt it truly enhanced our experience of Paris.

As others have said, the layout of this apartment is terrific for a family, with private and communal spaces, a luxury within the city. Comfortable and fun and lovely, and in a true neighborhood. Communications with Josette were excellent and we would love to come back.

Perfect Parisian apartment

Josette was an amazing host. She communicated very well leading up to our trip and met us at the apartment when we arrived. She had a delicious pastry and wine waiting for us. She helped us figure out the best ways to get around and had some great recommendations. The apartment is lovely. Lots of room and top notch security. We were able to walk to many of the sites we wanted to see.

Fabulous apartment with a superb host

Josette made sure she welcomed us and provided us with a personal tour of her beautiful apartment as well as a general orientation to Paris. She went above and beyond and you really can’t beat the location. Would definitely stay here again!

Happy in Paris

The property was all that it was advertised to be. A truly lovely apartment. The property manager was lovely and she did everything she could to assist us and make our stay more perfect. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful Parisian apartment

The apartment was comfortable and well appointed. Our host greeted us and even had fresh pastries waiting! The building felt safe and the metro was only a few blocks away. Having a washing machine and drying rack was such a lovely bonus. Would recommend this apartment wholeheartedly!

We really enjoyed this section of Paris. The apartment is stylish and just about perfect size! Frankly, I’ve never met a nicer and more organized Couple who rented to us. Elegant and spacious flat, amazing host

The flat and the host, Josette, were fabulous. The space is so large, and the bedrooms are quite far apart which was great for my 16 year old. The kitchen was truly a pleasure to work in, and the location was wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about the stay, including the gracious, responsive and thoughtful host. Elegant and refined

Our experience with this rental could not have been better. First, we were greeted by Josette, who has furnished the apartment with designer items that make you feel at home right away. Super accommodating

Josephine and her apartment have earned every glowing accolade in other reviews. We will add that she was incredibly accommodating when the airline changed both our inbound and outbound flights, affecting our check-in and out times. My daughter, daughter-in-law, two granddaughters and I easily shared the apartment; we especially liked its proximity to Jardin du Luxembourg. We would happily return!

Josette is the perfect hostess - providing a pleasant, clean, fully equipped apartment for our week in Paris. She thought of every detail to enhance our stay - including a delicious assortment of breakfast pastries! She was a delight to meet and gave us so many great suggestions. Awesome experience!

What a great experience for our family of 3! Josette's apartment is perfectly appointed --- she has everything you could possibly need: comfy beds, all sorts of kitchen items, big fridge, coffee pot and a washer and dryer. The apartment is decorated very well and is very comfortable. It's so close to Luxumbourg Gardens and very close to a bakery and grocery store. Josette was very responsive to my questions, and I had many, so her quick response time and patience was appreciated.

Great location for a lovely Parisian apartment

The apartment was wonderful for my husband, daughter and I! Josette was very attentive and helpful. Having a full kitchen allowed us to make meals when we wanted to. Next door was a boulangerie with fabulous baguettes. It was nice at the end of a day to come home to a comfortable space to hang out, watch TV or have dinner. Proximity to the metro/RER/bus was a very short walk. Having the Luxembourg Gardens just up the street was a lovely addition. There is some road noise but we were not bothered by it. We would love to stay here again sometime!

Great property in a perfect location with true Parisian vibe.

It’s an amazing apartment with great location. Our host, Josette, was lovely, she greeted us on our arrival and even stacked refrigerator with drinks and had the best brioche waiting for us. The property has true Parisian vibe, closely located to amazing Luxembourg gardens and has many convenience stores, bakeries and restaurants in a walking distance. Only one thing to keep in mind, when you rent anything in a historical center of the city, there will be no air conditioning. Host provided electrical fans, but with the high heat it might be a bit uncomfortable.

Great stay for a week

Josette was incredibly welcoming (in spite of a hurt foot - she met us at the property to show us around). The layout was perfect for two adults and a 19 year old grand-daughter. Bedrooms on separate sides of the living room and a lovely shower sink area and separate toilet. Washer and dryer were also very helpful. The kitchen has everything one could possibly need although we didn't actually cook except breakfast. The location, near several bus lines was fine - metro a 5 minute walk, great vegetable/fruit store around the corner and pizza across the street. Josette made it all easy and a joy to stay here. I'd love to come back

Beautiful

This apartment is awesome. It has character and charm and is well equipped. The real gem is Josette the owner and host. I have stayed at nice properties with VRBO but have not had someone like Josette. She arranged all of our taxis for several trips. That alone was appreciated and above and beyond. Not being use to keys/doors, Josette come back and gave me another lesson! While she was out of town she arranged for another contact in case I needed someone. Of course like other reviews you have read, the apartment came with water, juice, wine, beer and an amazing cake. Josette is lovely inside and out.
