The house was relaxing, comfortable, and accommodating. The beds and bedding were comfortable and it was nice there was no cleaning fee. We didn’t use them, but we were thankful that various entertainment was available. Would stay again.

Anchorage Delight

Wonderful property with all the amenities of home. Everything was clean, organized, and well appointed. We appreciated having a separate bedroom for me and my husband as well as one for each of our adult children. The kitchen was stocked better than any other VRBO we have stayed at, and that’s saying something! The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our short stay here before heading to Seward. Thanks Hanna for your well prepared property!

Great home and great hospitality

We traveled with a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) and Hanna’s house was more than enough for us. It is very spacious and has lots of sleeping options (a king bed upstairs, a queen downstairs and one twin over full bunk bed upstairs and one downstairs). The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) were adequate. The upstairs one had good storage options but the one downstairs didn’t have a lot of space for placing toiletry items. There was also a washer and dryer in the downstairs bathroom. We came during a very warm time and the home does not have central A/C. But the downstairs rooms stayed comfortably cool with the fans provided and for the upstairs one we had a window/room portable A/C. We are from Colorado, so we like our bedrooms cold for sleeping. In two of the bedrooms, the blinds and curtains did let light through quite a bit, so we had to use sleep masks and the loft area with the upstairs bunk bed has no blinds or curtains on a small window. Overall, the beds were comfortable with the exception of the master bed, which was soft and seemed a little worn out. Communication with Hanna was great and she was very responsive. We had noticed a few small tears in the window screens and she fixed them right away. She was quick in responding to any questions we had. The neighborhood was easy to access and seemed quite safe. Our youngest enjoyed playing basketball with the neighbor kids across the street. We would stay here again if we are back in Anchorage.

Great central location for activities, very clean!

We had a wonderful time here! It was a perfect location to some of the activities we had planned up north and in Girdwood area. It was nice being only 10-15 mins from the airport after a long travel day. We had an issue with one of the toilets, but someone was sent over to fix it for us, and it works great now! The host was very quick to respond to questions. Everything was clean and comfy. Loved the extra bug repellent and bear spray that was available to borrow. We would definitely stay here again :)

Great property! Close to stores & restaurants! Love this property!!!

The house was beautiful and clean. We had an electrical issue, I let the owner know, and she took care of it right away. My only concern was the downstairs (2 bedrooms & bathroom) was very cold so my daughter slept upstairs... (Heat rises - not the owners fault). I highly recommend this duplex! All the neighbors were quiet and pleasant! I will stay here again in the future!!!

Review

Overall this property was as advertised. Check in process was not clear and frustrating to have to call the owner in the middle of the night to find out how to access the unit. She did answer right away, explained the door code was the last four of my phone number and that it should have been provided with the initial confirmation. I double checked all emails and Vrbo app and still did not find this information. The dishwasher was full of dishes. They were clean at least, but we had to put them away before using the kitchen. Something I would think the cleaning fee would have taken care of. Nobody wants to start vacation by putting away someone else’s dishes. Linens were basic- no top sheet with any of the beds. Enough towels for one per person and that’s it. No wash cloths were available. The unit however was clean, nicely furnished and tastefully decorated. Some time and money was spent to freshen up the paint and update the bathroom cabinets. Comfortably slept four adults and one teen. You could easily have 10 People sleep quite comfortably in this unit. Two full baths and the washer and dryer with laundry soap on-site was a nice bonus.

This newly remodeled 1500 sqft, farmhouse feel home is quiet and clean. Brand new mattresses on all beds, 3 bedroom 2 bath.

Family Friendly: Master bedroom has a crib, extra strollers in the downstairs closet, pack and play, hook on high chair, and a booster seat. A high chair is also included in the home for the little ones. Childrens dvd's and childrens books are provided on the bookshelf.

Bathrooms: Equipped with bath tubs in both bathrooms, hair dryer, shampoo, body wash and conditioner is provided, and extra towels.

Kitchen: Full kitchen, fully equipped kitchen utensils, gas stove, dishwasher, dishes, silverware, pots/pans, rice cooker, coffee, tea, creamer, coffee maker, air fryer, microwave, blender, toaster, kitchenaid mixer and an electric kettle.

Pets: Well behaved and potty trained pets under 15lbs are allowed upon approval

Other Amenities include: Extra towels, extra sheets, hair dryer, iron, large walk in closet in the master bed, Blackout curtains for our nightless summers, 3 stand alone fans and central fan, Apple TV, 55" flat screen TV, DVD/Bluray player, fireplace, private entrance with self check in key code, WIFI, driveway parking.

Bear Spray: For your safety, I have provided 2 cans of bear spray at the front entrance to borrow during your outings. Please be bear aware when hiking or fishing.

Cleanliness: We are committed to your safety and following Airbnb's "Enhanced Cleaning Procedures".
