Cozy and Rustic "Bear Themed" Cabin~private pond and 7 miles to YNP entrance!

PLEASE READ before inquiring! Come enjoy the true outdoor experience here at Buttermilk Country Cabins. This cozy cabin is our "Bear Themed" cabin. Located just 7.7 miles from the entrance to Yellowstone. This cabin is nestled in nature on a private 40+ acres. Owner's residence is conveniently nearby and there are 2 more rental cabins nearby as well. There is a rodeo and horse rides on the property every summer from mid June until mid August. There is also a private pond for fishing. This cabin also makes a great choice for snowmobilers in the winter as main trails are located right out the front of property and we have more than enough space to park your trailers.

The rodeo starts at 7:00pm and is over around 9:00pm. You can buy your tickets online at yellowstonerodeo.com or you can buy them at the gate the night of. Horse trail rides are available, excluding Sundays while the rodeo is in operation. Horse rides sell out quickly so I would suggest booking them in advance at the website listed above.

This cabin is amazing! Outside and inside, it is beautifully built, furnished, and decorated.The cabin was also impressively clean.The fireplace was great for those chilly mornings and evenings!The hosts were very easy to reach, and responded to messages very quickly.It was a great place to call "home" during our time visiting Yellowstone National Park and Grand Tetons.We highly recommend!

Everything was exceptional! Such a cutely decorated and well equipped cabin close to West Yellowstone. Thoughtful and responsive hosts on site. View of mountains from entrance of property was stunning (especially at sunset one day).

Perfect Cabin in a Perfect Location

Caleb and Tarah are excellent hosts and will stay there again on our next visit. It was so nice to come "home" from cold weather excursions to our cozy little cabin. The cabin is a perfect distance from West Yellowstone.It is beautifully decorated with cabin charm and has all the home essentials for a 3 - 5 night stay. I loved that the fireplace was always on. The bathroom and bedroom had their own heating vents, which worked wonderfully. We highly recommend staying at he Cozy Cabin.

Perfect Yellowstone Stay

The Bear Cabin was perfect for my wife and I. It was a very safe, close to Yellowstone National Park, private Cabin. Definitely a great place for us with a lot of amenities

Perfect Cabin & Location Get-A-Way

Loved the Bear Cabin, perfect size, warm homey feeling,very clean and welcoming. It’s a great location to town and to the W Entrance to Yellowstone. The owners are onsite and there anytime if you needed anything. We highly recommend this cabin for your stay. We’ll be back!!!

The property was exactly as it was described. It was clean. It was comfortable. It was cozy, it’s in a great location to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park.. We had everything that we needed there. We met the owners and they were wonderful people. I recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking to stay in West Yellowstone.

Very charming cabin in west yellowstone

Great cabin furnished with taste, very well equiped + oil, spices and condiments to cook. Nice hosts, very reactive to respond. Wifi sometimes a bit unstable. Great location, not too far from the city of West Yellowstone. Rodeo next door, very convenient.

Cozy and Rustic Bear Themed Cabin

The cabin is exactly as described - quiet, private and close to the West Yellowstone entrance. It was well laid out and user friendly; immaculate; good kitchen and counter space with all necessary utensils, etc; great selection of on-line tv shows/movies; and convenient parking. Hosts were readily available to assist as needed and accommodated our special request pertaining to our allergies to scented products. 100% please with our experience.

Simply Wonderful!

Could not ask for a more perfect stay. The cabin is so cozy, spotless, and in the perfect setting. Horses on the property are so friendly and love being loved on! They greeted us at dusk as we arrived "home" after a long day in the park. Took so many beautiful pictures. Short distance from town of West Yellowstone and west entrance to the park is very convenient. Tarah and Caleb were very responsive and welcome book very helpful with tips on places to eat and things to do if you want to explore the area outside of the park. Please do not leave without meeting this kind and wonderful family. Loved our conversation with them. They really want your stay to be perfect. We are very grateful for the memories made here. Thank you!

Property was peacefull, trees shaded the cabin and there was a Western Rodeo close, but the festivities lasted only til 9:00 pm… sometimes earlier… noise was definitely not an issue. The owners are gracious, attentive and very helpful. The cabin was spotless

Simply Perfect!

This cozy cabin was perfect for our family of four when visiting Yellowstone. The location was convenient for entering the West entrance and we had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Fishing in the private pond was an added bonus for our guys!

Home away from home!

Absolutely loved our time at Yellowstone National Park and the cabin was perfect! So beautifully built and decorated and homey. They provide everything you need for a comfortable stay and Tarah was fantastic at communicating back and forth with me prior to our stay. I would give 10 stars if I could!

Wonderful cabin!

My husband and I stayed here for our trip to Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks and we absolutely loved it. Caleb and Tarah were so kind and welcoming, the cabin was spotless, and the views were spectacular. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to visit the West Yellowstone area!
