Checking in and out was simple. Location was great as it was a very short walk to the beach. The kitchen is very well equipped which made eating in enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about Captain Alexander’s. The members of the crew all enjoy cooking and our gourmet kitchen makes cooking delightful. Thanks for the compliment. Captain Alexander’s is conveniently located just steps from the warm waters of Nantucket sound and a three bedroom two bath has plenty of space to enjoy both inside and outside on the back patio and putting green.

The host was very accommodating when we had a change of plans. It was the easiest checkin / checkout process. The property was immaculate, stocked with everything we needed for trips to the local beach to pancake making. Location was excellent. You should stay here.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our time at the property. It was very clean and had a number of very thoughtful touches. Great location near numerous beaches, restaurants and shops.

We stayed at the property recently and the rental was well appointment, especially the exterior with the outdoor seating and seating around the firepit. While we understand that the location is close to the beach, the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were very musty and we minimized our time down there due to the moisture and mustiness. The bathrooms could be upgraded/refreshed as well to have a more pleasant stay. My kids did enjoy the hot tub, which was very clean.

Over the years Cape has been known for musty basements, and we generally run a dehumidifier, but I realized when you left that it was not on sorry for the inconvenience. The local beach is less than a five minute walk and of course the backyard is exceptional for enjoying your time..

Great stay!

We are an older group of siblings. We loved this Harwich spot! Location was great for our favorite Harwichport restaurants and beaches. Captain Alexander’s was especially clean and the host provided us with many amenities that were unexpected. We loved the outside patio. The hosts truly provided everything that we needed.

We enjoyed our stay at the Captain's Quarters for the week. It had all the amenities we needed. The back yard was fantastic and as we were on the Cape for a family weeding it allowed people to come and visit while enjoying the beautiful weather. Gerry & Ruth were great hosts and can't thank them enough. I would highly recommend for families wanting room and a place to hang out, It's proximity to Harwich Port was wonderful and an easy walk into town.

We are within a 5 minute walk to the Beach and Harwichport center, with all the restaurants and entertainment and shopping is only 1 mile away.

Great Cape Cod Vacation Spot

This property was perfect for our family. We have two teenagers, and the lower level bedrooms were a great space for them. The property was very clean. We had everything we could need. Loved the proximity to the beach, the hot tub, and the yard. The owners were very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Captain Alexander’s!

We had a great stay in the Crew Quarters at Captain Alexander’s. The house was clean and well supplied. We felt so welcome. Everything you need for a great family vacation is there and available. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. The backyard and hot tub were in great shape. Captain Edwards was very accessible for the few questions we had. Five stars!

Family reunion

Harwich is centrally located and makes exploration of the Cape easy. Captain's Quarters is very comfortable and the kitchen appliances and washer/dryer are virtually new. The property has a hot tub, putting green and a firepit which we all enjoyed sitting around each evening. Jerry & Ruth Hirsh are proud of their property and go out of their way to be the perfect hosts. We had a great time and highly recommend the property!

Perfect Summer Home

We had such an amazing time and Captain Alexander's was absolutely perfect for us! This house is spotless, the location was great and just a 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach! The owners thought of every detail and even left a welcome gift for us, which was so thoughtful! We hope to return again next summer. Love Cape Cod and we made memories for years to come!!! First time visiting Cape Cod, but not the last!

This property had everything we needed and more. The owners communicated with me before our trip and provided excellent recommendations on restaurants and popular things to do. I may have asked a lot of questions but they always responded. My husband and 2 adult children along with my daughter's dog enjoyed the house. Perfect place for the dog. We enjoyed taking our dog to many beaches in the area and eating outside at harbors like the Summer Shanty. This property and the hosts are amazing. Our trip to Cape Cod was unforgettable thanks to their help. Can't wait to return.

At Captain Alexander’s weather you are in the Crews Quarters, which is our 3 Bedroom the Crows, Nest the two Bedroom or the Captain's Quarters studio you will find everything you will need to enjoy your vacation here on Cape Cod. We pride ourselves in providing a lot of information for every vacationeer who books with the Captain. We’re sorry that we had an appointment off Cape for the week you were here we would’ve been more than happy to have met you. if you return in the future please remember to book directly with the captain.
