Peaceful lake front cabin on Clark’s Hill/J. Strom Thurmond. Renovated in 2020. Sit on the screen porch enjoy the view of the water and wild life. Take a dip in the lake off the covered dock with a boat slip covered slip 7 1/2’ (90”) x 20’ or tie off to side of dock with your boat. Enjoy a short trip up Soap Creek to Williemacs restaurant for dinner and live music. Play golf at Rocky Branch Golf Club, Hickory Knob State Park. Close to Savannah Lakes subdivision and between Lincolnton, GA and McCormick, SC. Enjoy mini golf at Elijah State Park. Or shopping in Lincolnton, GA or McCormick, SC at the antique stores. Or just stay at the cabin reading, fishing, or using the paddle board and kayaks provided. Fire pit with wood on site. Minimum 3 nights plus $150 cleaning fee. Boat ramp one street before ours on the right. You will not want to leave!
Linens and bath towels provided. Bring your lake towels and life jackets! Exterior only security cameras.

Enjoyed the cabin

The cabin was everything advertised. It was a great place to stay with plenty of amenities. We enjoyed the dock area, the boat ramp was just one street over, the grill worked great and was clean, the over all stay was great and we would definately come back.

The house was clean and comfortable. The back porch was really awesome place to hang out. The covered dock was very convenient and close to the boat ramp. Would definitely rent again!

Getaway

Very clean and all the comforts of home. The screened porch was a great place to watch the birds and deer each morning. We loved having our own dock with such close access to the lake. Hope to return again next summer.

Dawgwood Cabin

Loved this little green cabin in the woods. Perfect setting clean and so cute and cozy!! The highlight of our trip was watching the deer every day and the sweet visits from the neighbors dogs. We also enjoyed having the dock, since we had our boat with us. The short boat ride to Soap Creek Marina and Williemacs Restaurant was great. Good food and Live music.Great Trip!!

Family vacation

This is an amazing place to stay. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. She also left a booklet ofplaces to eat and things to do. Being right on the water was great. Also i cant say enough about the screened in porch (spent a lot of time there). Will definitely recommend and will be returning in the future.

Lake Front Delight

It totally met our needs with bonus relaxing evening on the spacious screened porch. We enjoyed dinning and visiting while the sparks on the water never end. Lots of birds to enjoy and yes sweet fur babies greeted us daily for soft ear rubs. We hope to return in the fall.

Clean, cozy and so cute! Lakefront view and access. Communication with owner was 100%. I

Awesome place to stay. Easy, close access to different boat ramps or just park your boat under the covered dock in the lake. The house is so “homey” and comfy! We’ll definitely be back. We caught lots of fish and met the neighborhood dogs. Penelope was my favorite! I’ve cleaned cabins for a living, and this one was very clean. I highly recommend!!

Excellent!

This lake side cottage was the best vrbo (and other vacationing sites) vacation we've had by far. It was clean and well equipped, and very nicely decorated with good quality furnishings. There were lots of extra things to do and use. The community was very quiet, peaceful and relaxing, and the dogs that came to visit daily were most definitely the highlight of our days. They were very sweet and well behaved, and were also well groomed. This was our annual mother and daughters girls trip so we each left our own fur babies at home, so these sweet ones helped us not miss ours so much. We would (and most likely will) be staying here again.

This is our retreat from a busy life. We are happy to share our peaceful renovated lake front cabin with you. We ask you respect our property and leave it as you found it. Including the local box turtles. There are neighborhood dogs that will come visit and share your time. They are friendly. The cabin is equipped with most everything you need for a stay. We are sorry we can not give you access to the laundry area as it is too small. In the future we hope to install a dishwasher.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This property is on a large almost an acre site mostly private. It is in a cove so very little boat traffic and a great place to swim and relax not to mention the fishing. It is located off Soap Creek a large main channel with close access to the Savannah River main channel of the lake. There are marinas close by - Soap Creek and Lakeside areas to eat, get gas or rent a boat for the day. See lake map on the wall.
