Unwind with the whole family at this serene 5-bedroom cabin retreat

There’s plenty of space for everyone to relax and reconnect. When you're ready to explore, take a peaceful stroll down your private wooded trail to the lake. The walk is about 1,300 feet and includes some hills, leading you to your own double-decker dock paradise—perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and making memories. Life jackets, floats, and more are provided for your enjoyment.

While we can no longer offer access to the UTV due to insurance limitations, the nearby Fishing Creek ramp makes it easy to bring and launch your own boat.

Please note: All bedrooms are upstairs, and the walk to the dock may be challenging for those with mobility concerns. For families looking for space, nature, and lakefront fun, this is the perfect getaway.

Amazing Place

It was amazing place! We were a group of 11 and had a great time in this beautiful cabin.Riverside Dock is the perfect for star gazing.

Great vacation!

We had a great time!!! It was a beautiful, spacious house! The only thing I would add is more kitchen essentials. We only found two small frying pans so breakfast took longer than expected but other than that we loved it. My kids absolutely loved the bottom area of the house and the dock where they did a lot of jumping off!!

Great house and great lake

The house was beautiful as well as the lake. Weather was awful while we were staying so having a comfy house was a huge plus. The only complaint was the dock being so far away from the house. All in all we had a great time. I would definitely recommend the house for younger people who can get around good.

Gorgeous Lake Getaway

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this charming lake house. The home was large, and the hardwood floors were beautiful. The backyard was PERFECT for small kids (and our dogs) to play! Lots of room to explore safely! The walk to the lake is probably about .6 miles away with a few hills, so keep that in mind. But it is a beautiful walk. I am still wearing my badge of honor scrapped knee lol. Once you get to the lake, the view was absolutely breathtaking. It was so much fun to swim in the water. Everyone loved to jump off the top of the dock. (Even my 4 year old)! Kayaks were a game changer. We had so much fun on those. 10/10 stay!

Log cabin stay

Quaint log cabin, spacious rooms. The cabin itself needed to be cleaned better. Upon our arrival the master bathroom had not been cleaned and there was left over trash in several areas from previous guest. We were creditied 50 dollars for this. If you are cooking be advised to bring items to cook with. The property is not on the lake and the owner's ATV must be rented to drive through the hilly, muddy, narrow wooded path to get to the dock. That in itself was an adventure. The dock was perfect for our boat and hanging out below but I suggest bringing chairs on the ATV to the dock as there are none and the one's on the upper deck are broken. This is a good fit for a young famiy but not the elderly.

Sorry, your stay was not five stars. We have instructed the housekeeper to be more thorough. Most homes on our lake have a trail to the lake. We are one of the few hosts that provide an ATV for a small fee. We did have a lot of rain around the time of your stay so things can get a bit muddy. We do plan to upgrade the trail during the off-season. It is true our home is a place for families to enjoy. Older people with mobility issues may find it difficult.
