Spacious Retreat with Hot Tub, and Walking Trails

Welcome to Chevelle
This large retreat-style home is the perfect place for relaxation here in the Hocking Hills region. At the end of a winding driveway, and surrounded by trees, Chevelle will be a warm welcome at the end of a day of adventure in the hills!
Relax in the hot tub, or around the fire pit on the concrete patio. Or, spend the evenings on the screened in porch, listening to the sound of bullfrogs in the nearby seasonal pond.
Inside, is a massive living/dining area, with cathedral ceilings, and has doors leading to both the front porch and back patio.
The kitchen is fully equipped and features a gas range fit for a chef! The laundry room is just off the kitchen.
The master bedroom has a King bed, flatscreen TV, and large ensuite with a walk in closet.
Bedroom 2 is in an opposite wing, and also has a King bed, flatscreen, and large closet. A second bathroom is next door to bedroom 2.
Outside, you'll find a path down to the shared fishing pond and system of walking trails that wind around the woods.
Chevelle is also centrally located to everything the Hocking Hills region has to offer!

The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfortable. There was a big round table, which was great for playing games. The living room was large, but cozy. Host was responsive and accommodating.

Great home in the woods that is 20 minutes from all the hot hiking spots you would want to do. Very roomy house, only 2 bedrooms though. If it was me, I'd demo the master bed wall, add another bed room to make it 3 and maximize potential. The living room, dining area, master bedroom are huge.

Big house with lots of room to spread out. Cozy bedrooms and a great firepit area. We also used the kitchen and screen porch a lot.

We visited Hocking Hills State Park. It takes 2 - 3 days to complete all of the trails. It was amazing!!After hiking it was perfect to have the hot tub to relax in. We saw 4 deer on the property and tons of butterflies. The retreat is very spacious and the property is secluded and if you have young kids there is plenty of yard for them to play.

Awesome cottage!!! So spacious and plenty of room for us, our daughters, and our son in law. We home based out of here for a fantastic 2-1/2 days of hiking the top 7 sites in Hocking Hills. Enjoyed the bonfire each night and the plentiful stars with no light pollution. We would most definitely stay here again when we visit HH in the spring time (no waterfalls at this time of year…). Perfect stay!

What can i say....house os absolutely adorable. The host was able give some pointers to some amazing roads. Definely will look here again when we return.

Lovely country retreat

We spent two days here, in some very hot weather!The ac was perfect, and with the ceiling fan on the screened porch, we had morning coffee and evening chats outside.The house is very nicely furnished, the kitchen, well-stocked. Lots of space, and meticulous.We attended a bluegrass event in Nelsonville at the Stuart Opera House, and this rental was only 15 minutes away.Many thanks to the owners.

Lovely!

This was a wonderdul getaway place. Very clean, very comfortable and quiet. There were just 2 of us so we each had our own room, bathroom and couch. The screened porch is very welcoming and would be a great place for a family game night or adult cocktails and cards. It was way too hot out to use the hot tub, but it was clean. About a half hour from all the hiking areas. Close to town (Nelsonville) and an easy drive to Logan.The host Would definitely stay again!

Girls weekend

The location was suburb! Centrally located to everything that we wanted to do. Very beautiful and private location The house was very clean with large spacious rooms. We will definitely rent this house again in the future.

We loved the property, the hosts put together a great binder with great info about local food and activities. Hosts were easy to get ahold of if needed. Loved our stay.

Wonderful property!

The property is a perfect location. It is relatively close (within 25 minutes) of the Hocking Hills trails and very private. We loved our stay. The house is extremely clean and has plenty of room.
