Welcome to our one-of-a-kind getaway on Lake Gaston! Our home is located on the main channel of the lake near Pretty Creek in a quaint and quiet community perfect for a serene morning or evening walk. The house is a few lots from the local marina making getting gas easy and convenient. In addition, our home is just minutes from local restaurants, boat rentals, Food Lion, mini-golf, ice cream, coffee shops, hiking trails and so much more. Our home also boasts a large gravel driveway with a roundabout for easy and roomy parking.

Have fun on the lake and enjoy the sun and breathtaking views on our dock which has a depth of 6' to swim and float around. Our dock is equipped with one ladder and one set of stairs for easy access to the lake. The dock includes an outdoor shower, storage room STOCKED with 3 kayaks, lake toys including large inflatables, floating mat, hammocks, water guns, pool noodles, footballs, etc as well as lifejackets for your convenience. You can also safely stow your boats and PWC on the right side of the dock or anchor them next to our bulkhead. There is a FREE boat ramp only an 8-10 minute drive from the house located at Salmon's Landing.

Our home offers the most incredible views on the entire lake with a visibility upwards of 4 miles making it easy to see the passing cars on Eaton's Ferry bridge from the comfort of our sunroom, kitchen, and dock. Along with the view are multiple amenities which INCLUDE a large fire pit, gas & charcoal grill & smoker, pool table, spike ball, spacious dock, multiple smart 4k TVs, lake toys, board games, and all the kitchen appliances you could possibly need.

The kitchen is loaded with an abundance of appliances including a large double oven and all of your culinary needs which include a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, toaster, blender, ice maker, plates, bowls, glasses, cups, silverware, cooking supplies, utensils, and more! When you arrive all of your beds will be neatly made courtesy of our LINEN SERVICE.

Bath towels, washcloths, toilet paper, soaps, detergent pods, etc will also be INCLUDED in your stay with us.

Our home is also PET FRIENDLY for a cheap fee!!!

This “Gaston Lake Home” was awesome! Mary was a great hostess and the place had everything our large family could want. The attention to detail and the welcome package was much appreciated. It was clear the “she” had our best interests at heart and left no stone unturned in providing for us and our family. What an incredible place. We walked in and there were fresh flowers, chocolate, bags of ice and water bottles waiting for us...Oh My! What a special treat. The screened in section is by far the best section of the house. The grandparents were able to see the family from inside with the ac. They had the best seat for all the events. Mary was fantastic and would follow up with us to make sure all was going well. It was so wonderful, we have already booked time in July 2026 for the next family trip. High recommended!

Beautiful Sunsets from the Porch

This property was perfect for our family to enjoy over the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen/kitchens are well equipped and made our meal preps a joy. Everyone in our party really enjoyed sitting together on the back porch and watching the sunset. We all decided before we left that we will definitely be back next year! Thanks to Mary and Bryce for being the best host who made sure that our experience in their home was wonderful and trouble free!!!

We’ve spent a decade on the Lake and we had another wonderful trip! THANK YOU to Mary who was a fantastic hostess from the very beginning – wildly responsive to messages, checked in on us every few days, provided recommendations in the area, and greeted us with flowers / coffee / chocolates at the house. She was spectacular! Some of our favorites: view of the lake from the sunroom – we enjoyed all our family meals here; the coziness of the fire pit and it was really nice to have the firewood stocked (not all houses do this!); neighborhood was great/quiet/peaceful for stroller walks; the house was close to the water and relatively flat (great for potential accessibility issues); dock was great (wider than the photos!) and easy to both swim off of and dock our boat for the week; 2 refrigerators in the kitchen were awesome (and a 3rd downstairs) for multiple families!; layout of the main floor was perfect for us all to hang out on; plenty of tubes/life vests available. The house had board games and puzzles, a pool table, and a ping pong table as well. Easy ride to Piggly Wiggly/Dollar General/Food Lion/local bakery/local coffee shop. Some of the house is a little dated, but nothing that will affect your stay in the wrong way. The little things in life: it was nice to not have to haul a whole house here – house was stocked with lots of comfy towels, TP, soap, paper towels, dishwasher and clothing detergent! Don’t forget your beach towels! Thanks for being kid & pet-friendly!

Amazing time with large family

This is an awesome house for a large family. We visited with 5 toddlers and tween. The tween had fun kayaking, fishing, playing table tennis and pool. The adults lived the fact that the toddlers (who wake up at 6am) could not be heard anywhere in the house in they were in the basement. Everyone was happy. Loved the sun room! The view was amazing and was close enough to a grocery store. Amazing property!!!!

Incredible NYE at the Lake

My friends and I had an amazing time celebrate New Years Eve at Lake Gaston. The house provided plenty of space for our big group and offered lots of fun with the ping pong table and fire pit. Mary was such a joy to work with and was so thoughtful and accommodating!

Christmas family time

It was absolutely perfect. Plenty of space for everyone to relax (15 adults and teens). The views are stunning and kitchen is fully loaded with all the items you need, just pack your food! Communication/responses were very prompt and helpful. We would definitely come here again!

Great Property and Owners!

We stayed for a birthday party and there was plenty of beds and space to accommodate 16 of us. The number of beds and sleeping areas is a big plus. Other amenities are great. Sun room was a favorite, ping pong and billiards tables were great additions, and the fire pit is great. All with an amazing view in the backyard. Owners even left some birthday balloons to greet us. It was the perfect weekend!

The Perfect Vacation Rental Does Exist…

And it is located on Lake Gaston! Words cannot do justice to just how amazing this stay was for our family. Mary is an absolute angel and the dream host…she went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was perfect. We were greeted with flowers and chocolates, and the house was even better than described. The beds were comfortable; the fire pit was well maintained; the boat dock was sturdy and safe; and the space was perfect for our multigenerational vacation. While there are multiple levels, the front entrance was easily accessible to all…including my elderly aunt with a walker. The majority of our time was spent in the huge sunroom taking-in the lake views, but my young adult children loved playing ping pong in the lower level and even took the kayaks for a Sunday morning trip around the lake before checkout. I can’t say enough great things about this experience, and our family is already planning our next trip to Mary’s beautiful home.

Amazing Stay!

Great for large families. Nice flat yard. Plenty of space for everyone. Sunset views were amazing and lots of space on the lake right near the house for tubing, jet skis and wakeboarding. Would definitely stay there again. Communication, before, during, and after the stay was top notch.

Beautiful vacation

The property is spacious and clean. Location is superb. Mary is a wonderful host. Had a great family vacation boating but just as much fun swimming off of the dock. The house itself is fully stocked with everything you need down to the welcome chocolates and coffee!

Great Lake Retreat!

My family and I had an amazing time at Paradise Point!! Mary was an incredible hostess - She was beyond responsive and made sure my family and I had a comfortable stay. This house is beautiful, right on the water and has plenty of room for a large group! If we ever make it back to Lake Gaston I would definitely stay at Paradise Point again! :)

Best spot to stay

This is a place to stay anytime. Mary and Bryce are great people and Mary answers every text or phone call. This is my second year here and I am ready to go again next year. Our group cannot say enough about this place or owners. I read a review about all you need is clothes and food. They are 100% correct it has everything you need. Thank you again for a great stay.
