Renovated, large home with Twain Harte Lake access, perfect for multiple families. We’re located on a quiet street, walking distance to downtown Twain Harte, the golf course and hiking trails. The lake is a bike ride away. Enjoy grilling on the deck under towering Ponderosa Pines or soaking in the hot tub while being visited by jays, squirrels, and deer. Also in close proximity is Pinecrest Lake (20 miles), Dodge Ridge Ski Resort (22 miles), Downtown Sonora (12 miles), and Yosemite (46 miles).

This is a lovely property, and the host is very friendly and helpful. It’s close to downtown. We Walked to the Twain Harte Christmas Parade. There were 8 adults in our party and two babies. The kitchen was perfect for cooking for large groups. So much counter space and fully stocked kitchen. Will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Perfect family get away

This cabin was everything we were hoping for and more. It was clean, well stocked, and a perfect getaway for our family reunion. Everyone in our family loved staying here.

Andrea was absolutely wonderful, a great communicator! The property had everything we needed and then some. It was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family! I also loved all the decor! My son is already begging us to go back :) Would 100% stay here again.

Awesome Home Base for Skiing/Snowboarding

Excellent vacation home with all the amenities. Everyone loved the spa after a long day on the Mountain. Great place to unwind, relax, and take in the beauty of the Sierra. Host was super communicative and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Sweet Spot for Family

We loved the location, cleanliness, open floor plan, gourmet kitchen, hot tub, and all the thought Andrea put into this house to ensure guests are very comfortable. Perfect spot for our family to gather with 8 adults and two kiddos under age 2. We all enjoyed our stay. 10/10 would recommend

Has it all

This home has it all. It’s set up to accommodate families. My granddaughters love the kids room with the four twin beds. It’s like their little hideout The home is clean, the kitchen is amazing. The owner is very prompt answering any questions The neighborhood is very quite, walking distance to town. This is my families “go to” for our annual summer vacation

Nice clean house

House was clean and living spaces were ample. Took us awhile to figure out how to use the heaters and pellet stove, a manual onsite rather than just email would have been handy. Also a second TV would have been nice. But overall a great place, would definitely stay there again.

Exactly as promised

House and property are beautiful w/ a modern kitchen, large dining room, and family room. Kitchen equipped w/ everything needed to cook and serve any meal. Master bedroom and bath modern cozy and very clean. All bedrooms very thoughtfully appointed w/ comfortable beds, down comforters, and high thread count linens. Owners were quick to answer any questions and very accessible. We will definitely book this property again. It’s in a very walkable and safe neighborhood w/ restaurants and gourmet grocery store near the home.

Do you not like to be spied on.

First I felt like I was spied on she could see things we do, for instance when the two Jacuzzi Bazan should call and say that because he was on her next-door neighbor size. She meant left Don. Was not true second getting into the house took us over an hour trying to figure out how to work the door through our cell phone. Would not run again

DO NOT RENT

We were in this house for about 6 hours when we found bugs in two of the beds. There was questionable cleanliness to begin with, with a ring around the toilet bowl and a spider in the sink. Not sure how recently it was done.Back to the bugs. We did some internet sleuthing and determined probably carpet beetles and not bed bugs. Turns out carpet beetles can cause infestations and feed on fibers, and we were concerned about taking them home with us if we stayed. I called the owner- no answer, left a voicemail explaining the problem. Instead of calling me back like a responsive human, she messages me through Vrbo app which I got later. So at 1030p, we loaded up our family (all 8 of us) and went to Best Western Plus in Sonora (a phenomenal value and great night’s rest if you ever need a hotel in the area).The following day, I heard from the owner they were having someone come to the house to do an inspection. Great, but we’re still out a place. I asked for a refund for the night until we had more answers and she refused. We ended up booking another home in the area.By Sunday, there was no evidence of ongoing infestation. We had not been back to the house nor did we use the lake access in case that would be a cost for them. Long story short, no refund, no house. We were in the place for 6 hours. She suggested we brought the bugs in to the house instead of expressing remorse for our ruined weekend. Not a great showing for a “host”.

Charming Twain Harte Cabin

Loved our stay with our kids and grandkids. Plenty of room for everyone and the Hot Tub was a big hit! Also Andrea was a great and helpful host. Thanks for everything.

Great family home in the perfect location

We stayed here with our sons family. The home is immaculate, well equipped and in the perfect neighborhood. You are a very short walk from downtownTwain Harte and about a five minute drive from the lake. We love to cook as a group. The kitchen has everything. This home is on our list of “must stay here” when in Twain Harte !!
