Weekend Beach Getaway

Had a wonderful weekend at SH. The house was perfect in all ways! Location, Size, Clean, it was just a really nice home to stay at and would love to stay again unless we find our own and that’s the goal. Definitely rent this beach house you will be very happy!

Perfect location!

Great place for a family wedding in Stone Harbor!

We had a great time at the property in Stone Harbor. The bedrooms, and common spaces were perfect for our group of 6 adults. Communication and check in process was great.

Easter weekend

We had a wonderful time at this property. Wendy was very prompt and easy to communicate with. The house is beautiful and perfect for Easter weekend with family. The location is great, very easy walk into town . We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect beach escape

Perfect location to walk everywhere around Stone Harbor! The house is very cute and comfortable! We enjoyed sitting on the side deck. We walked to the beach and to grab coffee in the morning. Our family and friends loved our stay, and we hope to visit again one day. Wendy is a lovely host and super communicative. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful

We had a great time, the place was wonderful, comfortable, plenty of space, great parking, and the elevator was a bonus since I am suffering from recent back issues it was a godsend! We used the gas grill several times, used the deck. Also we were able to travel with our dogs for the first time and they enjoyed walking downtown and meeting people. We would definitely like to return. Fyi we have been coming for years to stone harbor.

Spring Break get away

We enjoyed our stay on Sunset Drive in Stone Harbor. The house wash clean, modern, and well laid out. All beds and furniture were comfortable and the gas fireplace was perfect for an end of winter trip to the shore. The location is prime for dining and shopping in Stone Harbor and the sunsets are beautiful from the deck. The owner, Wendy, was quick to respond to any questions we had. An added plus is that we were able to rent Friday to Wednesday during the off season. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Country Music Concert

What a gem of a property. House was fully modernized, stocked with plenty of essential items and felt like you were in your own home versus a "tired" beach rental. Be aware you'll need to bring sheets, blankets, pillows and towels unless you want to pay an additional fee. Centrally located in Stone Harbor and well within walking distance of several restaurants, the ocean, (and a liquor store). It is also about 6 miles from downtown Wildwood. I would recommend this location in a heartbeat!

Apparently you must bring your own towels and sheets. Did not notice this in the listing but apparently this is a thing when your at the beach. I have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this was a first. I will certainly pay attention the next time I rent.

Rented in spring, NO HEAT, no INTERNET. Called the owner and she sent her son to fix the internet and he did not know what he was doing. Thermostat broken and temp was down to 30. Rented for 6 nights and left after 3. Owner would only refund 1 night. Worst place ever. Do not rent here.

Unit & Location Very Nice. Communication over hot water problem not good.

Door lock difficult. Better to give renters the code. Problem with hot water on first day. It kept running hot then cold after a few minutes, then back to hot again. Finally on 3rd day woke up to only cold water. Called manager, after climbing up on high platform to turn on unit, we were advised by her spouse to turn emergency switch off then on again & told hot water would return. Left for 3-4 hours, returned and still no hot water. Finally landlord agreed to come over to see if it could be fixed. Arrived and turned on hot water heater, without letting us know they were there. One of the men was amiable, the other was not. Later in the day, hot water came back, but continued to go off and on until we left. Also not able to set the upstairs thermostat to desired temperature. In conclusion, despite favorable first impression with the manager Wendy, things turned south when we had to deal with her husband . We will not rent this unit again.

We had a perfect weekend! We attended a family member’s wedding at The Reeds and couldn’t be closer to the action. The house was clean and had everything we needed! Plenty of space and beautiful views!

Perfect home for our weekend away

Wendy’s home was perfect for our quick weekend away to celebrate an early Thanksgiving! The house was very clean and we felt at home there. It’s the shortest walk to all the shops and restaurants. Can’t wait to go back!
