From the street, Cottage on Beach Plum looks small and cozy, but step inside and you will be pleasantly surprised by all the room the house provides all on one floor. Our home is perfect for large families, multi-generational groups, as well as several couples. With four bedrooms (two en-suite masters) and three full bathrooms, this home provides space and comfort while being steps away from the beaches of the Delaware Bay. The back screened-in porch gives a quiet retreat after spending a day on the beach. The home is supplied with paper products, linens, beach gear, and a cleaning service.

There is plenty of free parking on the driveway and in the street. The garage is not to be used for parking but for beach gear storage.

This house is perfect in every way. Spacious rooms, everything was very clean, large very well-equipped kitchen, comfortable spaces to relax, easy to find, check-in was seamless. Would definitely stay here again!

I have been renting houses on Cape May for many years. My adult daughter uses a wheelchair and this was the first place to accomodate her. Everything was provided as described, including sheets and towels. The photos accurately portrayed the rooms which were large and furniture/beds all comfortable. Plenty of household supplies. I will be renting again!

My friends and I have stayed at this property for several years in a row and the experience has been consistently excellent. The house is well-maintained, the host is highly responsive, and the location is perfectly situated from restaurants, other services and the beach. We love the neighborhood as well! I can understand why this place is so popular! It's a very nice house, nice furnishings, nice decor and such. The screened porch and back deck are wonderful. It's also super-nice we didn't have to pack a ton of linens!Although the house is geared more towards adults, it's still kid-friendly. We brought our 5 kids with us (youngest is 4). I'd say it would be fine for babies and younger toddlers (just bring your own pack n'play).There are lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and beach toys (bring your own beach cart). The grill is gas and works well. The kitchen is roomy, there are an additional 2 dining chairs in the den/bedroom. The main master bath has the tub and also a shower, the other two bathrooms have showers only.Minor cons would be: no kid-friendly cups, no large baking sheets, although there is a small one. There were also no washcloths, had to buy a few (we did leave one behind as well as a few chip/bag clips). Bonus: there's a fig tree in the back and we shared a few ripe figs the birds didn't get to.

The house was beautiful and very well appointed with everything we could possibly need. Its proximity to Cape May and Wildwood made it extremely convenient for us. We loved the privacy of the beach. The only information misrepresented was we only counted 195 steps to the beach, and they said it was 350. Would highly recommend this property.

The house is exactly as advertised and well equipped with linens, cooking supplies, beach supplies and plenty of room for the family to spread out. Wonderful neighborhood and less than a block to the beach which we enjoyed every day of our stay. Will definitely book again.

Love this house so much! It has everything and so easy to access the bay. I love just floating on the bay with the floats and I love the screened in porch, it’s my favorite spot of the house .sunsets are amazing also

Great Vacation Stay

Our first trip to NJ and the house was perfect. The house had everything we needed, in a perfect location, and bonus that we could bring our dog on his first beach vacation. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for us to stay, we will definitely be back.

Great house and location

This home was fantastic, and exactly as described in the listing. The home is spacious and furnished well. We felt comfortable from the very beginning! My kids loved it, especially my 5 year-old. He said it's the best vacation house he's ever been in, which is pretty high praise!The location is fantastic, we loved being able to very easily walk to the bay beach and appreciated all the beach gear available to us. We also like how it felt a bit tucked away, but was within minutes of local attractions, and a quick drive down to Cape May or out to Wildwood or even Stone Harbor.I did have some items that needed to be brought to our host's attention during the week and she was very helpful, and quickly and satisfactorily helped to remedy them. All in all, this was a great stay and we hope to be back again.

Great place!

We had another great year on vacation in this property! Pros: 3 full baths, 2 screened in porches, pet friendly, great kitchen, large table that easily fit all of us, short drive to ocean beaches/downtown, quick walk to bay beach, great bang for your buck, and an easy to work with and kind owner! Just love it and will be renting again next year. Our only cons were: no enclosed outdoor shower or clothes line to dry stuff on after the beach (both of which were easy to work around… there is a spigot outside to rinse off, btw) and I know it’s silly, but… there weren’t enough forks for 8 people to run the dishwasher after a meal and have enough forks for the next meal! No big deal, but would be nice to throw a few more forks in the drawer.

Beautiful Home

Loved the location and the house was lovely. Great back porch area and the kitchen was huge to be able to cook for 8 people. Only thing was i believe it mentioned 4 bedrooms and it's really 3. there is a front room with a type of "day bed" with no closet. Overall great place and responsive property manager!! thank you

Family Adventures in Cape May

Our family enjoyed the comfortable beach house. Absolutely loved the covered front porch and screened back porch. We spent a lot of time in the beautiful backyard gardens.
