Overnight in Duck Key

There are cute stone gate pillars as you enter the community to Duck Key off of Route 1. We only stayed one night en-route to Key West - but the condo was clean and comfortable. Great views out the sliding glass doors & from the screened in porch. Could use a paint job but clean and nice

Great time

Overall excellent. There is a few minor things that needs a touch. On the kitchen cabinet there is one door that doesn’t stay closed. The left handle of the stairs going down the back yard is broken. The heir dryer doesn’t work . The master bed is super high. It is worth to say that this doesn’t not impact our experience in any negative way . My comment has the only intention to bring excellence and excellence and opportunity to improve to the table .

Duck Key Condo

Not impressed with this condo, would not recommend. Very pricey, unit is in need of repairs. Not worth the money we paid, on a scale of 1 to 5, I would rate it a 2.

Our Chilly Week

We had a good stay with no major issues. Frank is easy to get ahold of and the check in process went smooth. The villa needs to be deep cleaned, the coffee maker did not work. I wouldn’t stay here again with my young kids but it’s fine for adults or older kids. We attempted to use the furnace as it was pretty chilly during our stay, the smoke detectors went off immediately After turning it on and a burning smell filled the villa.

Nice little place in Duck Key

The property was very clean. Frank addressed any issues immediately. Loved the fact that the back porch and balcony porch are screened in to keep bugs at bay. Location was great.

Annual Fishing Trip

The property is in a great location. We love being outside so the screened porch was a huge plus. The weather did not cooperate with us but anytime there was a break in the rain we were back on the boat. Frank was always available for questions. We will be back next year and in this same unit.

Great Convenient Stay

We live on island and used this property for overflow when we had family travel in for the weekend! It worked out perfectly! The unit was clean and well stocked. The manager was very responsive and helpful as well!! The only downfall I would say is because the unit rents through VRBO you don't get access to the resort amenities, but our group didn't need that so it didn't bother us at all!

Business trip

Nice unit and location. As described and neat. Would stay there again. We were a group of six and ended up using the folding bed/couch. We had to make the bed for the couch ourselves. Linens were provided but mismatched in size and texture (queen size microfiber fitted sheet for the full size couch and cotton flat top sheet) but had plenty of pillows to choose from. We also needed to use the oven to heat some dinner but no baking sheet was provided. We also would have appreciated a broom or Swiffer to be able to keep the place neat (sandy floors are inevitable) but none was available. Laundry detergent and a washer was available, but we did not use it. Great experience overall!

Cute condo

Had a 3 night stay. Had to call owner when front door wouldn't unlock with code provided on check in. Left a message on vrbo and a voicemail- got a quick response from owner who fixed the issues. Condo was relatively clean on check in, although there was hair stuck in/dangling from the ceiling vents. Property was as expected. Had some noisy neighbors who were partying late into the evening which certainly is not a fault of the owner but something for future guests to be aware of.

Nice condo with picture perfect view

The condo layout is good, two bedrooms with two bathrooms upstairs. The downstairs living room is quite large with great view just like in the picture. The condo is clean and beds are comfortable. The host responded to questions pretty quickly. The duck key itself is quite and kind of remote, 15 minutes plus drive to stores and restaurants (there is only one restaurant on duck key and I won't recommend, long wait, pricey and not very kind servers). The only complaint about this condo is lack of details, which caused some inconvenience to me but may not be big deals to others. For example, no shampoo and conditioner are provided. I have to drive 15-20 minutes to Marathon on the arrival day. Some of items in kitchen are in need of replacement.

We had a wonderful stay in Duck Key. We had an issue with the air conditioning and Frank responded so quickly and came up with a great solution. We would definitely recommend to others. Thanks Frank!

Duck Key

Nice and clean place to stay. Key West is less than 2 hours away. Close to Marathon, where a few of our favorite places to eat are located. FL Keys Steak and Lobster house has an amazing dessert The chocolate ball is delicious.
