Big finished basement entertainment area with TV perfect for teens and tweens to hang out. The house is 5 miles from Catamount and 15 miles from Butternut ski areas. 5 minute drive to Hillsdale farmers market, 20 minutes to Great Barrington restaurants, galleries, and nightlife. Full kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances and 2 bath. Sleeps 12. Dining room seats 10. Washer drier. Gas grill. Wifi. Outdoor seating and fire pit. Pet and kid friendly. Exercise bike.

Berkshires Dreamhouse Review

A beautiful and cozy house. My family and I had a really nice time skiing during the day and cozying in the house near the iron stove at night. It is conveniently located near Catamount and Butternut as well as many quaint town areas and restaurants. We would definitely recommend this house to others.

Wonderful house

If you like the Copake/Hillsdale area, this house is great. We were 2 families. Plenty of space. The brook behind the house was an oasis of peace and refreshing water. 20 minutes to a state park late, hikes. Serenity. Really enjoyed ourselves. Kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated having a large table outside to enjoy the meals.

New Years trip

This was our second time staying at this little cottage and we had a great time and we were very comfortable. The added finished basement gave the kids another place to hangout and do karaoke and play Nintendo switch. Good location to get to multiple ski locations and close to berkshires. Plenty of towels provided and plenty of room in upstairs bathroom which was great with 5 teenager girls. The basement was chilly but there was an electric fireplace that had a heat setting. We made the most of our trip despite the rain and warmer weather.and will visit again. One note is that there is not much around in regards to grocery stores and pharmacies so pack ahead or drive into a nearby town.

Relaxing upstate NY getaway

Quiet dead end street with options for easy walk to Taconic State Park for bike/hike trails, playground and swimming. Easy drive to Bishbash falls. Copcake Falls area is very quiet with farmland all around! We enjoyed sitting out back and listening to the creek water flow, playing cornhole, BBall, & (fooseball inside) . Unfortunately, the peach trees were not ripe yet. But as stated on site, there are mult fruit trees and a beautiful big backyard. Neighbors are friendly. Easy drive to different points of interest. House was clean, nicely decorated, and easily slept 12 with 4 BDR and 2BR. No issues with TV/internet. AC available. Would definitely recommend and return again. Lauren, the owner was easily reached and helpful with any questions.

Excellent space in a beautiful spot

We loved our time in Copake Falls. Lauren's house is very charming, but the property where it sits with the stream in the back is just lush. Both kids and adults loved our week there.

An ample, vintage house for a comfortable vacation

We greatly enjoyed Lauren’s Copake Falls house this July. Everything she says about it in the ad is true! It would be particularly comfortable for families with teens and tweens, but it was just fine for us grandparents as well. Not surprisingly, our July weather was hot and muggy at times, but the 5 window air conditioners cooled the place handily. The beds were comfortable, and the bedding was attractive. As with any place in the country, there were critters about – raccoons, mice, bees, and hornets; so we were vigilant. At one point we lost hot water, but Adam, Lauren’s husband, and our contact, was on it instantly. We highly recommend Lauren’s place. Thanks Lauren and Adam; we hope to return next year!!!

Perfect For Ski Trip

We wanted to stay as a family and go skiing at Catamount and Butternut. This house was perfect. I would totally recommend this property as it was clean and cozy.

Relaxing Family Get Away

We came with 6 kids and our dog. The house was perfect for all of us. The brook in the backyard was perfect! Kids enjoyed that the most, I loved sitting in the morning listening to water. Host was quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend, would absolutely go back!

Awesome location

We had an amazing time! The yard is huge and plenty of room to play soccer and play in the river and it entertained us all day long. The proximity to the park was a bonus we could take bike paths there. Highly recommend.
