We had a 2 week stay visiting family, the house was in an ideal location, and perfect for families. It was also well stocked in the kitchen and even the laundry, would definitely stay again!

Everything you need

I’ve never stayed at a rental that truly had everything. We didn’t have to worry about a thing - this place is stocked with anything you could imagine you’d need when you’re away from home, especially is you’re traveling with little ones. From bath soaps to laundry soap, baby gates, high chair, pack n play, kids toys and books, stocked kitchen supplies, spices, ziplock bags, foil, TONS of extra pillows, blankets and towels. The beds were so comfortable! The hosts were accommodating and responsive. The only complaint I could have is the grass was very overgrown to where the kids couldn’t play in the backyard and we booked this house partially for the playground in the yard.

We were looking for a home in the Woodlands and this was a great location to local stores like Walmart, Target and HEB. The kitchen is fully stocked. It’s equipped with everything that you need to make your stay comfortable. The owners’ communication was great. Highly recommend.

Great location and great hosts. We very much enjoyed our stay this year again. Location is very close to Market Street with all kinds of great shops. We stayed here last year and again this year. Hosts are very attentive and we had everything we needed. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Great Trip

Lovely home in a very nice area. Well stocked with all essential items. Close to shopping and restaurants. The hosts were wonderful and responded very quickly to our call. We would recommend this home to anyone planning a trip and will definitely consider it again on our next trip.

Perfect for our whole family

Great house for our extended family trip. My parents and toddler stayed with us. Everyone enjoyed the home and rooms. There was plenty to do, toys, and high chair for my daughter. The host, Debra, was excellent at communicating and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable family stay.

Great stay at a great location!

The Restful Oak was the perfect spot for our family to stay for the weekend. We were in town for our son’s baseball tournament and wanted a good spot to stay that was close to good restaurants and things to do. The home was very clean and stocked well with everything that we needed. We’ll definitely stay again in the future!

Visiting Family

Debra property was amazing, and it had all the amenities that you could ever need. Usually I have to bring my own or go buy them, but I didn't have to buy a thing. Debra was very friendly and helpful. Talking with her was like talking to someone I had known for years. The house was decorated so beautiful and I just love sitting on the deck in the morning. If I am ever back in Texas, she will be my first choice when renting a property. Thank you for everything!!! t

Perfect for families! Clean, well stocked, quiet lovely location.

The Restful Oak was among the best of our many VRBO stays. We had a family group of 5 adults, 1 child, and 1 toddler. The house was perfectly stocked for the children with a pack n play with sheet, a high chair, children’s dishes, safety gate, lots of children’s books and toys including a train table with trains and tracks, a room with a bunk and trundle bed (that still has a comfortable larger bed under the bunk that an adult slept on), and a play gym in the large fenced-in back yard. The kitchen is very well-stocked, and I was able to cook and seat the large group in it. We walked 5 minutes to Maplewood Park where there is a good playground and a running/walking trail. The hosts were easy to reach. It definitely felt like a home away from home.

Needless to say, in that year we learned a lot about what we liked and didn't like about the short term business! We now own two rentals in the woodlands, where we strive to provide our customers a high quality "feels like home" experience with a personal touch.
