We absolutely loved our stay at this lake front LACC home! The home has a perfect location in the lake with breathtaking views. We had our vow renewal in the beautiful grassy backyard. The he host was super helpful and friendly. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it!

The lake view is amazing. The property is excellent. A perfect retreat. We had a wedding at LACC and wished we could have spent more time at the property. Our host checked in on us and was wonderful to work with.

Lake Almanor Vacation

Great location. The water is feet from the house. The house is big and inviting. Great for entertaining. The upper deck needs some repairs but did not effect our fun.

Great house for a senior reunion

Nine high school classmates (class of 1971) had a great time at this beautifully located and well equipped property on Lake Almanor. The property owner was a delight to deal with and very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.Thank you very much!

Birthday weekend w out of state family

I will be re-booking fromboth hosts Allyn and Mike in the future anytime I’m in this area. As hosts, communication was clear, timely and helpful when I initially had issues w the VRBO app, Allyn hopped on to help make sure it got situated. Check in process was a breeze, the house itself is as beautiful as the pictures. Bonus points because it included baby proofing items, and a high chair. A family member left some items by accident and before she realized where it was, Allyn had already reached out w a picture. We had family travel from out of state, so to have a space large enough for everyone to have a bed, as well as accommodate us sitting around the same table for all meals meant the most to us.

Gorgeous home on the lake

The location is beautiful! Both homes are incredible. Our family had an amazing time in the water, playing pool and ping pong, relaxing on the deck and cooking in the gorgeous kitchen! The owner was so friendly and responsive! Loved the place and definitely will be back!

Amazing multi family stay

Everyone loved this amazing home in a perfect location! We stayed here with two sets of grandparents, and two families, including 4 little ones, and had ample space. It was amazing to have the house, the deck, AND the patio area to relax. The kids LOVED the grassy area and the sand and the walk right into the water. We loved many neighborhood walks filled with friendly neighbors. The wildlife we got to see was amazing too! There are bats all around the house in the morning and at night which the littles were thrilled about, (the grown ups too since bats = no bugs!) and we saw numerous deer! The owners were so incredibly nice, not only did they deal with my questions ahead of time they were so quick to respond while we stayed. If we stay in almanor again we will definitely come back to this perfect spot!

Perfect Gathering for Friends

We are a group of ladies who gather every year to celebrate our friendship and have fun together. This home was perfect. It accommodated our large group and was located in a gorgeous spot right on the lake. The house was roomy and equipped with everything we needed and more. Communication with Allyn was great. She responded to all of my questions quickly and provided helpful information. I would recommend this house to any large group that is looking for a beautiful house in a great location.

Perfect for a family reunion

This is the best location on the lake. Perfect for families with kids. On the beach and all the amenities to keep the kids entertained. All 8 cousins were sad to leave and looking forward to our next trip.

Fantastic location and beautiful home with Private Dock

We had a fantastic stay here, 6 adults and 6 kids ages 9-13. It was our first time to Lake Alamanor, and wow- what a gem of a lake and community! We were able to bring our own small ski boat and use the dock and mooring ball throughout our stay, which made a huge difference in enjoying the lake and boating about. We fished, skied, tubed and boated to a nearby restaurant on the lake with ease. Neighborhood is so well maintained, as is this house. The Country Club area is clearly a well loved spot and although we did not use the club options ourselves, the launching of the boat was very easy and user friendly at Rec Area 1 - a very quick boat ride to the dock, literally less than 5 minutes away. The owner was very accommodating after some weather challenges and was professional and kind in all dealings. Highly recommend this beautiful home for a family lake weekend. The owners were incredibly responsive and available as needed. The ping pong table was a lot of fun on a rainy afternoon, and the upper and lower decks provide gorgeous views, the lower deck is completely shaded which is a nice option on a sunny day. Fire pit was lovely, just be sure to be prepared to handle the propane tanks on your own to enjoy all available ammenities. Perfect size house for our group, beautiful property.

Beautiful home on Lake Almanor

Our first time staying at this house. Beautiful large deck to enjoy the wonderful Lake Almanor view. Neighbors included a bald eagle that we enjoyed watching and some deer. Enjoyed the fun game room and a wonderful kitchen! Allyn the owner was very responsive and helpful. We even rented a patio boat from Knotty Pines Marina just down the street. Our annual trip was perfect!

Great time with the family

We really enjoyed our weekend at the lake with our family. Lots of bedrooms so little ones could take a nap. Great view of the lake. Wonderful back deck to relax on at the end of the day.

Watching cameras and bats!

I stayed here three weeks ago. The host was constantly messaging me about random questions she had from viewing the cameras all day. I believe there maybe a camera inside too with Audio. There were also bats inside this house. She kept my deposit because we folded her ping pong table and stored it to the side of their small room. I would come back to this lake again but do not rent this house. Bats almost bit my child. And we had a fall coming down the stairs. My lawyer is going to be reaching out.

Winter lake stay

This was a beautiful vacation home for my family and friends. The host was very easy to connect with for any questions. The only difficulty was the single lane steep driveway with multiple vehicles, and the downstairs was chilly if we did not keep the fire running. The upstairs balcony is inaccessible during the winter due to snow accumulation, but the downstairs was stunning. Overall was a stunning view and location, with more than expected amenities, and a great host

A DREAM

We brought in the New Year at this property and it exceeded all expectations! Let’s break it down: 1. Allyn was incredibly communicative! We reached out before the trip because we were concerned about driving conditions. Gave us tips on which highways to avoid depending on how bad the weather would be. Some folks in the group had never driven in snow so this brought a lot of ease. During the trip we needed help with both the Sonos sound system (very cool setup within itself) and she connected us with her daughter who was also extremely helpful in getting that going. Lastly, we had intermittent issues with the Wi-Fi due to the weather and the updates on network status were appreciated. 2. The lake is absolutely stunning with the snow capped mountains in the background. It was about 18 inches of snow on the beach. The most fun just diving in the snow and tossing it around. 3. The house itself is built for comfort & fun! Just extremely well-equipped. Just bring food and you’ll have a blast. The pictures really speak for themselves here. 4. No one wanted to leave when we needed to pick up a few things at the market. I ended up going and saw multiple families of deer! 5. It got as low 0 degrees at the lake but it only took moments to warm up once you stepped back in the house. A lot of firewood available and a great heating system. An awesome winter experience. A beautiful setting to bring in the new year. I’d love to do it again Thank you Terpstra Family!
