Make some memories at this lake front paradise! Beautifully updated home sits on peninsula with 150’ of open water. Enjoy brand new 1,000 square ft boat dock with swimming platform, rope swing and party deck. Lake toys (kayaks, paddle boards, lily pad, and more!) included with your stay. Large lawn for you to enjoy lawn games (corn hole, super size jenga, etc…). Enjoy the sunset and s’mores around the firepit. Green light insures abundant fishing for the fishermen in your party.

Available by phone for all your questions and if any issues arise.

Lovely neighborhood near Main Street. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, etc...
- Please note that you will be charged a 3% cancellation fee if you cancel your reservation. This is a charge incurred by us by the credit card company and not refunded by them if you cancel.
- 8 adult maximum. Can accommodate two additional adults for extra fee.
- No jumping in water before getting in water and checking for debris and depth. Swimming & jumping is done at renter's own risk.
- No parking in front of neighbor's mail box.
- No going into neighbors' yards or boat docks.
- Please respect our neighbors. They live there full time and we pride ourselves on being a good neighbor!
- After using kayaks or paddle boards, do not tie up and leave in water. They may sink. Please put in yard until next use. Put back on kayak stand upon checkout.
- Replace all water toys to where you found them in the condition you found them. Hang up life-jackets, roll up and secure lily pad, etc... Shed doors must be closed.
- Do not move the furniture. If you do, move it back or you will be charged a $100 moving fee. Our cleaning crew are not movers.
- Please let owner know if propane tank runs out. We have extras for you to use, but to make sure we always have this, we always re-fill tanks when they run out!
- Please follow check-out instructions. They are there to insure future guests have as great a stay as your own!

We spent 5 days and 4 nights here with two families and the house was a great fit. The layout worked well, and the kitchen was well-stocked with cooking essentials and helpful disposables like trash bags, soaps, paper products, etc.—a nice touch. There were plenty of towels (including beach towels) and outdoor chairs. We loved the lake and dock—the water was clean with a flat, sandy bottom, and the sunset views were stunning. Location is convenient, close to Walmart for groceries. We also rented jet skis and a boat from Southside Water Sports.We specifically book vacation homes with recreational gear, and this listing advertised 3 kayaks and 2 paddleboards. Unfortunately, only 1 kayak (and the paddle boards) was there when we arrived. The owner said one was damaged and being replaced, but had we known, we’d have brought extras. The lily pad was also in rough shape with a large split, so we didn’t let many kids on it at once. Lastly, there was a strong odor in the king room connected to the bunk room. We later discovered a towel under the bed that appeared to have been used to clean up vomit—something the cleaning crew definitely missed.

Love this property. The owners are very quick to respond to any questions. The home is stocked with supplies from towels, toiletries, and kitchen equipment. The beds are comfy. We came for my daughters 17th birtday so two adults and six teenagers and still had an empty bedroom and an empty bunk bed so it is great for larger groups. We very much enjoyed the sunset view from the top of the deck it was so beautiful. The teens had a great time as well with lots of time in the water using the available paddle boards, etc. We will definitely be coming back.

Lake House Vacay

We had an amazing time at the lake house! It was my family, my parents, and my brother's family. So, 6 adults and 4 teen boys! The house was super cute, full of everything we could possibly need, and the hosts were very responsive! We cooked full meals for 10 every night, and had all the pots, pans, and cooking utensils necessary. We all slept very comfortably, and the dock was perfect for everyone to fish off of. Thank you Andy, for a great mini vacation!

Baseball tournament weekend

We were playing baseball in the area and decided we wanted to stay on the lake. House was great. Location was great. Wish it were warmer so we could have gotten in the water but they had everything we would have needed.

Family weekend on the lake

So much to do at the house that you never need to leave. The kids wanted to stay outside the whole time either fishing or playing on the water (rope swing, lake mat, kayaks). The house has everything you can think of. The hosts were super friendly checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay which of course we were. The location on the lake and the dock were perfect.

Our family really enjoyed the house and the beautiful lake! The kayak's, paddle boards, and the lilly pad were the favorites of our grandsons! The neighbor was very kind and offered the use of his paddle boat to the boys!

Mom Getaway

We had the most fun at this beautiful house! It’s the perfect place for an active group. We celebrated our friend’s 40th with the best views, late night talks on the lit up top deck, kayaking and paddle board excursions, sunbathing on the lily pad and grilling out. I would recommend this home to any group of friends or family looking to make the most of a lake vacation.

Great place to stay and fish!

This is a great home right on the lake! My family really enjoyed the place! Home is super clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our favorite part was the fishing. We caught tons of catfish and some white bass everyday! At night you can see the alligator gar swimming under the light. We really enjoyed it and even caught one on our last night with the help of a friendly neighbor. Lots of fun toys to enjoy the lake ans well. Owners are great to work with and quick to respond to any message. I would highly recommend this place!

Beautiful Lake House

We come to Texas every summer to spend time with our family. We rented this home for the convenience of the lake. It was perfect, the provided lake games and floaties were perfect for all day entertainment. The dock was amazing and made it easy for our family to bring their boats over for the weekend. The owners had great communication which made the stay even better. 5 star.

The owners of this property are amazing to work with. This home was very cozy and clean. The beds were very comfortable with such soft sheets! Everything that was needed was at the house. They had coffee, trash bags, foil, grill with propane, baggies. AC is very cold and works great. The back porch has seating where we enjoyed our morning coffee. The dock was amazing and a fun highlight everyday. It included lots of fun water toys! I would definitely stay here again!!

Fantastic Lake Get-A-Way

Property was just as listed. We enjoyed the view, the dock, kayaks, Lilly pad, noodles, fire pit and chairs to watch the sunrise and sunset. Wonderful 3 night get stay. Easy to find, simple check out procedures. Owners were super friendly and very attentive. Loved it!!!

Great Lake House!

Cedar Creek never disappoints! This house is exactly as represented on the website….very comfortable beds, indoor games and even ping pong table set up in carport! Outdoor activities include kayaks, paddle boards, and everyone’s favorite, lily pad. The dock has a rope swing, and stairs to enter the water. It is well lit for nighttime fishing. We had a great time and thank our hosts for being very attentive. We plan to return and do a repeat!!

Family time at the lake

This was a great place for our family get together. The dock offered a place to fish and more importantly to spend time in or on the water. The house had a large kitchen area and the dinning area held the entire family. Pathing was the only problem. For large groups 4 parking spots is not adequate.

Cedar Creek Reservoir

Really nifty lakefront property in Gun Barrel City. The dock and kayaks are great for relaxing along the shore. Fishing is almost too easy from the dock. Sunsets are beautiful here, every clear evening was spectacular. Fun for bird watching also, our teen naturalist enjoyed watching the eagles daily. Nice kitchen and easy trips for groceries if you like to cook. Host is very helpful, easy check in and out.

Amazing thanksgiving weekend stay

We stayed at this amazing property during the thanksgiving stay. We were 15 people with adults and kids. The lakeside views are amazing and looks amazing. We spent time kayaking and paddle boating with all the boats and accessories nicely arranged in the backyard storage. The house was very spacious and the kids bunk bed room was perfect with lots of room. There were a lot of games and ping-pong to keep everyone entertained. Andy and Sharon were perfect hosts and were very responsive and nice. They checked in with us after we checked in and were available over phone/message for any of our needs. We really enjoyed the place and hope to go back during the spring.

Wonderful Stay!

Great house and beautiful location on the lake. We were a group of ladies going to Canton 1st Monday. Easy 30 minute drive into Canton. We loved all being together and staying here instead of a hotel. I definitely want to come back to this home during the summer to fully enjoy the lake and beautiful sunsets!

Great Stay!

Awesome property with a brand new dock. Enjoyed our stay and so did the kids. The house is very well stocked and has everything you may need. Plenty of toys and the Sandy bottom makes it easy and comfortable to swim.

This rental is amazing! We had the best time. There was never a dull moment between the beautiful dock, sunsets, water toys, all the attention to detail in the house, comfy pillows and blankets. We had 7 teenage boys that didnt want to leave. We enjoyed our stay very much!!

The home is so charming with all the amenities you would want. We outfitted the home with everything we want to have when our family and guests stay there. Comfy bedding, modern amenities, fully stocked kitchen, water toys we enjoy using, outdoor games.... Outside the home, you will be amazed at how you are surrounded by water with views galore. Our just built 1000 sq feet boat dock is unbelievable. Tie up the lily pad, launch the water toys, swim or just hang out on the party deck or the covered below seating area. We also had a swim platform built off the boat dock with rope swing and we have a lake ladder and lake stairs to easily get out of the water or launch the kayaks and stand up paddle boards! Our son loves to fish and the fishing is abundant. He always catches plenty and is able to catch bait fish with his casting net off the shore or boat dock. Being on the lake at dusk and while the sun sets is our favorite part of the day! The sunset views from the party deck or the bottom deck are unbelievable. After the sun sets, we always start a fire in the fire pit and enjoy hanging out while the fishermen in our party continue to fish. The main TV and the bedroom TV's are all Roku-enabled so you can stream from your favorite streaming service. Our home is also conveniently located in Gun Barrel City - close to restaurants and shopping!
