Small, but cozy bedroom with smart TV, kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, toaster oven and Keurig coffee maker.
Use of heated swimming pool. Outdoor shower.
Weber grill and table for two private sitting area.
Short walk to Peaked Hill (highest point on the Island) walking trails.
Walk-on pass to Lucy Vincent Beach.
I do not recommend staying here without a car. The property is down a long dirt road and not in walking distance to public transportation.

Great Little Place

This is a great little place to stay in Chilmark for a couple. Ronni was responsive and helpful when we needed it. The pool area was nice to lounge in. We'd stay here again

Chilmark Charm

What a wonderful gem in the woods of Chilmark. The pool is the icing on the cake. Ronnie was such a wonderful host! Hope to return in the fall, but definitely again in the future.

Chilmark

It’s great for anyone who gets up early & heads out all day. No stove/oven, only a sink in the kitchen. You will need a car/ bike as it’s down dirt roads. Cell service is poor, there is WiFi. We picked it for being in Chilmark but we are used to cooking for ourselves so this did not work for us.

I am sorry it wasn’t what you expected, but the photos clearly show what is in the kitchenette. Also, all the appliances are listed in the description. I also let people know that it is a remote spot and I strongly recommend bringing a car. You should have contacted me before you booked and I would have told you what you needed to know so that you could make a wise decision about your vacation requirements. Before this review, I have had extremely satisfied guests.

Great Place in Chilmark!

The apartment was great and perfect for a weekend exploring the Vineyard. The place is equipped with a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Ronni is a great host as well. If planning to stay, you definitely need a car. The location is also great if you like to hike!

Chillin' in Chilmark

Wonderful experience. My host/property owner was warm, welcoming, and unobtrusive all at once. I really, REALLY dug the quiet, cleanliness, and coziness of the setting. No fault of Ronni, not her responsibility either, the Vineyard Internet reception is, to be generous and appropriate for all ages, very poor! Take a ride at night around this neighborhood and around the island in general: almost NO street lights and the trees forum a wonderful, bewitching canopy over the roads there. Ahhh!

Charming in Chilmark!

My best friend and I had such a lovely time staying at Ronni’s place in the quieter town of Chilmark! It was such a fabulous bonus to have access to her in-ground pool, outdoor shower, and a guest pass to Lucy Vincent beach (arguably the most breathtaking on the island, especially for sunrise). We preferred the location being a short 20 minute drive away from the typical tourism, and felt we really got to see the most of the island being out in the suburbs. With that being said, we definitely would say a car is a requirement; not just a recommendation. A lot of Ubers/Lyfts would cancel our rides due to location, and the shuttle bus wasn’t running on the times scheduled. We didn’t foresee coming without a car to pose such an issue in a world of ride-shares and public transportation, but if you choose to stay at Ronni’s (which you should!) you must bring a car. Would absolutely stay here again! Thanks Ronni!

This is a basement apartment in a nice house owned by longtime island residents. Ronni is a great host and made me feel welcome. She loaned me her beach pass and offered use of her pool. It is fairly remote so you really need a car.

Access is limited to residents and their guests. having a walk-on pass allows up to 4 people to enjoy this spectacular beach.

Having access to a private heated pool surrounded by a landscaped lawn with relaxing loungers is the ultimate treat.
For more active guests, the property is a five minute walk to a trail going to the highest point on the Island with magnificent views of the north shore, as well as the south shore.
