Edgartown/Katama Newly Renovated Vineyard Escape

Recently renovated wonderful 3 bedroom, 2 bath Vineyard house. Our guests will be delighted by the clean, beach vibe renovation in our house which includes new hardwood floors, a cooks kitchen with stainless steel appliances and quartz counter tops, tiled showers, and a large lounging deck with an outdoor shower and grilling/dining area. The family room is bright and comfortable with 3 sliders looking out on the yard and a vaulted ceiling. There are ceiling fans and air conditioning units. Throughout the house. The three bedrooms include 2 rooms with queen beds and 1 room with 2 full beds. There is a fully equipped laundry area in the basement in addition to a lounging spot positioned to watch the ping pong table. Our house is located on a culdesac and enjoys great privacy while being only 1.5 miles to South Beach and Edgartown Village. We have equipped the house with everything you need for a relaxing vineyard vacation including bath towels, beach towels, linens, beach chairs, internet and other amenities. There is a bonus lounge area and ping pong table in the basement. Come and enjoy all the Vineyard has to offer right outside your doorstep including Morning Glory Farm, Katama General Store and Edgartown Great Pond.
For PEAK season (June 27 - Labor Day) we require a 7 day stay and a Sunday to Sunday rental week. We also have ferry reservations for many of the peak summer weeks that can be purchased.

Great family Vacation

Sharon’s place was cozy and beautiful! It was actually bigger than I thought it would be with plenty of room for our family both inside and out. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to make a meal. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean and beautifully updated. Sharon was so helpful - communication was quick and easy. We would love to stay here again when we come back to MV!

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at this beautifully renovated, open floor plan, home with the most thoughtful and attentive host! The location is perfect...a short walk to Morning Glory and a short ride or bike to the beach. The yard is large and flat for playing outside and the home comes equip with everything you need for beach and outdoor play. The best part...when we arrived (to an immaculately clean home) there was a fresh baked loaf of Morning Glory Breakfast Bread waiting for us. We can't wait to come back and highly, highly recommend you stay here!

Review of Sharon’s Vineyard Escape

This property was overall an excellent stay! The house was clean, in a great area no more than 10 Mins outside of town and accurate to the pictures shown in the listing. Sharon was very communicative and open to any requests we had. My family and I will certainly look to stay here again for our next Vineyard escape!

Great Property

This was our second time staying here and the house is always well maintained with everything you need from a fully equipped kitchen to beach towels and chairs. The location is great, right between downtown and the beach. Our family really enjoyed spending the week here, it is a great place to relax. Communication with Sharon is also easy. We hope to continue coming back.

Bright, super clean, well stocked beach house with all the modern amenities. We loved having the AC in bedrooms for sleeping, beds were comfortable just like home, kitchen stocked with everything you could need to cook, new sliding screen doors provided that perfect MV breeze, modern laundry in basement and beach supplies! What more could you want? Check-in was easy and we were greeted with the Gazette and Morning Glory Farm zucchini bread (a short walk/ride from the house for amazing produce). Close to Edgartown and South beach yet quiet neighborhood for relaxing. Would return in a heartbeat!

Awesome property!

This property was beautiful! It worked out perfectly for our group of 5 - 2 couples and 1 single. The furnishings were beautiful and the kitchen was very well equipped. Perfect location near the beach and Edgartown. The owners were across the street and could not have been nicer. Highly recommend!

Great experience

This house was extraordinarily well appointed and tastefully renovated. We were exceedingly impressed with the quality of the renovation, available amenities, and high-quality appliances and appointments. Communication with the host was fast and easy, and a great measure of privacy was offered to us. Would love to stay here again.

Perfect MV Stay

This property was ideal for our families MV vacation. We (family of 4) had ample room in this sweet home. The house was very well cared for and so clean. It’s location was perfect, quiet area but easy bike ride to everything we love on that side of the island. The house is as pictured, perfect for one family or two. It was child friendly and plenty of space for relaxing outside. I think this was our favorite VRBO house to date. I highly recommend booking at Katama.

Perfect Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay, the house is well cared for and has had a great renovation completed throughout. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you need, and there is plenty of room inside and on the deck to relax. The location was also perfect for us in a quiet neighborhood close to the beaches and town. Communication with Sharon was prompt and easy, we would love to stay here again.

Great house. Hoping to stay there again next year

Everything about the house wonderful from the warm outdoor shower to the well appointed kitchen. And for others looking to stay I’ll elaborate on a couple details: We’re a family of 6 and they had plenty of beach towels. The shed had several body boards in it, an umbrella, and 5-6 beach chairs. A stop and shop supermarket is only 5 mins away. And every room in the house has a mini split that keeps things cool if you need it but the house has so many windows that breeze does a great job of keeping it comfortable. The host also replied to every query we had really fast. Overall great experience!

Amazing long weekend!

We stayed at Sharon's property for a long weekend with friends. It was the perfect place for our little reunion. The house is beautifully designed and maintained, and well-decorated. It's set back a bit in a wooded area, as is much of MV. You definitely need a car, but it's in a great location, close to Katama Beach. Overall a great stay!

MV vacation

The home was wonderful with new renovations. The living space was very comfortable with plenty of space for everybody. Indoor or outdoor dining options at the house were both great. We loved the location with easy access (by either bike or car) to downtown Edgartown, South beach, State beach and Morning Glory Farm. Sharon the owner was very easy to communicate with.

We have been Vineyard lovers for over 40 years. We enjoy our house off season and are delighted to share our wonderful house with guests that return week after week. We have been property owners in Katama for the last decade.

This is an unbeatable location with easy access to all the village and beaches. In addition, the private road our house is located on is ideal, quiet and removed yet close to everything. Lastly, we take pride in our house and are continuously improving the house for the enjoyment of our guests and our family.
