We had a great stay, although we were not at the house all that much. The beds and bathrooms were very comfortable. The house is interesting and cozy, good week-end. Thank you for your care.

Clean and tidy property---absolutely perfect for two couples spending time together and getting to know the lovely Charlottesville area. Super-responsive host to our questions and laundry needs. We enjoyed the large kitchen for starting each day's adventures. It was a treat to spend time in an historic 1850s property (with a few modern flourishes) to get a taste of living in that era.

Loved this English basement. Very spacious, clean and well-appointed. Check-in was easy. Kitchen was stocked with everything you would want for a stay. We didn’t cook, but the tools were all there. Bathrooms were very clean. The location was exceptional; cute neighborhood and easy access to the highway. Highly recommend a stay.

It was so Interesting to learn the history of Enderly! It is in a safe and beautiful neighborhood in northern Charlottesville. The rooms were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay.

Wonderful host and great stay! Apartment was spacious and comfortable. More room that we needed for two couples. Easy off street parking for two cars. Loved the front patio area! Safe and easy to walk around the area. Perfect location for getting to local wineries and evenings out downtown. Host was very responsive and helpful and thought of everything when furnishing this rental. We will definitely book here again when we’re back in Charlottesville!

Peaceful and comfortable

The apartment was surprisingly spacious. The linens and towels were of a high quality, which made it feel like a 5 star hotel. Easy to connect to WiFi and plenty of places to charge. The host thought of everything we’d need. Enjoyed being close to downtown and roaming about the farmer’s markets Saturday morning and dining at local restaurants. Lovely experience.

Great Historical Charlottesville Location

We had a great weekend stay at the Enderly. There were 2 couples in our group and we were very comfortable and had all we needed. We especially liked the outside seating area. Communication with the host was great. We would absolutely return and recommend.

Great location/Great for 2 couples

We loved our weekend here. The basement apartment is perfect for 2 couples. Grat kitchen and good sitting room. All was as described online. Will stay here again.

Lovely property

All four people in our party enjoyed our stay at this historic property. It was clean and well furnished. The linens and beds were comfortable and the property was within easy driving distance of wineries and downtown Charlottesville. Overall, two thumbs up.

Amazing place

The Enderly is such an amazing place with a wonderful sense of history. There is plenty of space and while it's a basement, the entire apartment is above ground. The grounds are beautiful and very private for being close to a main highway. It has plenty of space and having two bathrooms was perfect. Chris and Clare are great hosts and Brixton the dog was a bonus.

Southern Gem

The basement apartment exuded southern history. It is full of character. A great place for a getaway. The host was prompt to respond to questions. Location is convenient to all Charlottesville has to offer.

Couples weekend

Long weekend visiting wineries and a few historical stops. House was perfect to walk to pedestrian mall for meals. Super close to many wonderful wineries.

Perfect accommodations for a small family get together

My sister and I and our respective husbands had a great experience all around with our stay at the Enderly apartment. It was a quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed a nice walk. It was super convenient to the various places we went to including downtown. The kitchen was equipped with what we needed and we love the big table to share for meals, a puzzle and a card game. The beds were comfortable and if it weren't so hot while we were there, we would have spent more time in the outside area at the front. The host was available if needed and very responsive! If we are in the area again and need similar accommodations this is the one we will choose if it is available.

Felt like home!

The apartment was very cute and felt very homey. The hosts were extremely nice and easy to contact. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower pressure was great! We are considering staying here again when visiting Charlottesville.

Epicurean winery tour

My wife and I stayed with friends of three decades. The apartment provided a very comfortable home base for the weekend. Both downtown restaurants and several wineries were easily accessible by car in minutes.

Traveling with 95 year old father.

Convenient location to visit Monticello with a handicapped parent. Comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and interesting historical house with nice covered outdoor space.
