Large Luxury Home | Great Views, Quiet, New Hot Tub & AC

Spectacular, large luxury home, located close to Lake Hatcher and situated on 9 beautiful acres. This 4 bedroom home is perfect for those who want the best in a vacation home.

The main level has a welcoming entry area, high end chef's kitchen, dining room with amazing views, large living area with fireplace, TV and plenty of space to relax and entertain. There are also 2 King bedrooms on this level which is helpful as there are no stairs needed for this floor, but there are stairs that go down to the lower level. The spacious master suite has a king bed, views, private bathroom and also a mini bar and coffee area. You can also walk out to the decks from this room. The other bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom and also a door to the main deck, with a gas fireplace just steps from this room.

Downstairs is another nice living and entertaining space with TV, fireplace, cozy furniture and direct access to the covered hot tub, lower patios that are perfect for entertaining around the new gas fire pit. There is a bedroom with a king bed and private bath, and another bedroom with a full and 2 twins, private bathroom and exterior door to the rear yard area. This floor has a laundry room with 2 washers and 2 dryers, perfect for a large group.

The hot tub was just replaced with a new Bullfrog Hot Tub in April 2023.

Down another level is the fun area with foosball, ping pong, air hockey, indoor shuffle board, TV and many other games.

The property surrounding this home has recently been re-done and we are waiting on pictures. The kids can play in nature on the 9 acres and you will likely see wildlife when staying at this home. You are also just a couple minutes from Lake Hatcher, where you can rent kayaks, peddle boats and fish for trophy trout. Ask us about our ice fishing package!

All trailers, RV's, Campers or other recreation vehicles ("Other Vehicles") must be
approved prior to arrival to be allowed on premises.

This home is non-smoking and does not allow pets.

Please note there is a $50 cancellation fee that applies to all cancellations made after booking.

We have used VIP for stays in Pagosa for several years and you have never disappointed. This house was outstanding for the two families. Kids loved they tri level house where they could split and do their own things. We would have liked more towels is the only complaint. We only had eight, but we didn't want to complain so we just made due.

Beautiful house, lots of space, quiet neighborhood

The house is beautiful, with plenty of space both indoors and out. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, and we loved watching the deer visit the salt licks just outside. Inside, the home was thoughtfully furnished, featuring comfortable lounge areas and a fun game room. The hot tub was clean, well-maintained, and the perfect way to unwind after an active day. We would definitely stay here again!

Incredible Place

This place is amazing. Such a beautiful home and property. Plenty of room for our big family. We loved the game room and the hot tub. The management company was also very attentive.

Plenty of space for kids, grandkids and extended family. Multiple living spaces for coming together as a group or room when space is needed. Quality furnishings and plenty of "toys". The yard was great for kids and grandkids. Wildlife viewing and star gazing opportunities abound. It is a destination to which we will return. And, we have been to Pagosa and other residences several times. Lori with VIP was great and available when needed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very enjoyable experience at Dancing Bear in Pagosa Springs. The home was exceptional in all that it offered. We prepared many meals and had all the right cooking materials as well as dishes. There was a minor issue with the heating/cooling system but it was taken care of immediately. I texted our manager, Lori, for a couple of items and she responded quickly to all of our needs. Perhaps updating the notice on the hot tub or putting up a sign about it's scheduled cleaning would be something I would suggest. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful. Enjoyed the area very much! We will consider returning!

One other thing is that there could be an extra towel in bathrooms. One towel for five days is not adequate. You shouldn't have to call for extra towels. All appliances worked great. Beautiful property.
