Great House in the heart of the Hill Country

Perfect Texas Hill Country house located close to wineries as well as everything that makes the Hill Country a special place. Open floor plan with huge back yard can accommodate up to 8 guests comfortably which makes it perfect for girls trips to wineries or families wanting to explore our best state parks. The house is only 4 years old so everything is updated and has been furnished to provide as much comfort for your family and friends entertainment. We are within walking distance of downtown Johnson City (4 blocks). In the fall of 2021 we've added a wide cement driveway and sidewalk, covered the patio as well as built a firepit.

Beautiful home, comfortable with welcoming feel. I loved watching the hummingbirds and other wildlife in the backyard. The home was perfect for our family weekend. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommended this property!

Best stay, location and Host!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The house is absolutely perfect! It's an amazing location, far enough away from all the madness but close to everything you could possibly want to do. Everything about the house is well thought out and made to make your stay a easy and relaxing as possible. PLUS, the host is hands down the most amazing Host I have ever worked with. He was 100% involved in the process and kept us updated on everything in the area. We will definitely be staying here the next time we come out to Texas Wine County.

Wonderful JCTX Stay!

The house was great, everything was as described in the listing and easy to access. Great location, just a short walk away from restaurants & activities. The host was accessible and very accommodating. We had two families sharing the house and it was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

New Year’s in Johnson City

We stayed in this very cute property over the New Year’s weekend with our 2 adult sons and their families. We had a wonderful stay, thoroughly enjoying the outdoor fire pit on both evenings. The house was delightfully decorated for the holidays! It was well stocked with all the basics and spotless. The owner was quick to communicate, answered all our questions and eagerly shared information about the area. On our first evening we walked to the town square to view the beautiful Johnson City Christmas lights. They’re beautiful and lived up to their well deserved fame. We all enjoyed our stay and fully recommend it! Thank you!

Perfect for us

We were in town for a family event. The home was spotless, spacious, warm, and inviting. Perfect for my siblings, mom, and me. Would be great for a girls' weekend. Highly recommend!

Family trip to hill country

Family had a great time hiking and exploring the area! The little kids loved the house (just had to watch them closely around the wine glasses ;), and were all worn out with the fun activities (Perdenales Falls, Science Mill, LBJ Ranch Tour). We will definitely try to get back there again, when we can, for more fun!

Charming and Comfortable!

Really loved the space - beautifully decorated and designed. We had a fabulous weekend. Covered porch and Backyard with firepit was a great added bonus!

Great time with family

Reunion with young adult grandchildren, really nice place to avoid crowded restaurants. Loved the house, new, clean, everything worked perfectly. Andre very responsive the one time he was needed. Very nice folks to deal with, look forward to coming here again.

We've been coming to the Hill Country for the last dozen years or so and have been on what seems like every back road in the area. We enjoy hitting the wineries as well as exploring the parks, trails, rivers and historic areas.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We always liked Johnson City. Fredericksburg is great, but crowded. Eventually we will retire to this property but not for a few years. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

This house is a perfect getaway for girls trips to wineries, but also for families. Usually every night we're sitting outside looking at the stars and enjoying the peaceful setting!
