Awesome 1st floor condo!

This place was so nice and so convenient to be able to walk right out to the pool with little ones! The host was great and had great communication the whole trip!

Excellent stay at the beach!

The property was excellent. Very clean and organized. The unit was excellent. Stocked with everything we needed while we stayed. Comfortable beds, and nice furniture. First level floor, walk out to pool and grills. That was a huge highlight for convenience. Communication with Tom was frequent and he sets very accurate expectations and made the trip easy for us. We are already looking to book our next beach visit here in this unit. Plenty of parking. Quiet neighborhood. Only a few minutes to groceries or fun at John’s Pass and Treasure Island. Pool and hot tub were great and the beach access was super easy just a few stairs, or the elevator also gets you to ground level.

Family Vacation

Great Location and Complex. Condo was spacious, lots of beach toys/chairs. Having direct access to the pool deck/beach access from the patio was awesome and was helpful in keeping sand out of the condo. Complex is secure, with gate codes/locks to get into the property. Enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Property

This unit at The Beach Cottages is a hidden gem. Situated on the ground floor with direct access to the pool/courtyard via the lanai. The condo itself is laid out well to ensure good separation between the sleeping area and main living space. Ideal for families with children. Kitchen is well stocked with essentials and living area is comfortable and spacious. Tom, the owner, is very responsive and kind. Highly recommended this unit to anyone looking for a relaxing, no-fuss vacation rental in Indian Shores. I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent

We stayed for a week. The condo is in the perfect location. Getting out of the deck straight to the pool area and beach was very convenient. Using the grills by the pool was also easy, since you don’t need to take the stairs or elevators, carrying all the stuff. It is like having your own backyard. Lots of water toys and cooler in the closet off the deck, was also a plus, no need to bring in wet toys and chairs inside the condo, we just left them out to dry. Five stars to the housekeeper, everything was detailed clean and tidy. The towels smelled so good. The kitchen was stocked with cleaning supplies and laundry detergent. Will be back again. As for the pool area, lots of lounge chairs, and the hot tub gets cleaned daily. This was a true resort.

Perfect beachfront condo!!

This ground floor condo is the perfect place for a beach vacation. The condo is very very large. Beautiful brand new wood like tile flooring. Gorgeous. Opens right to the pool area with hot tub. It has covered parking as well which is wonderful. Gorgeous beach out front, swimming beach is excellent. Everything inside the condo is in great condition, plenty of everything for your stay, beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler. The condo is an end unit, very quiet, didn’t hear any neighbors. Grounds and pool kept immaculate!! Lots to do in the neighborhood too! I highly recommend this condo. The owner was always available, checked in on us mid week, and was very easy to work with. Thank you again Tom!! (we will be back!)

Fantastic area!

We are a family of four with 2 teen boys- 19 & 16. The condo had everything we needed. It was VERY roomy!! Being on the deck level was actually great- easy access to the pool and beach. The bed linens and towels were very nice and soft. Beds were very comfy! There were 4 beach chairs, which was very handy. He supplies 2 beach towels, so we brought some of our own. The patio closet had lots of beach toys, noodles, umbrella, etc. We had an issue with the dryer, but the owner was quick to respond. He was also very responsive to any questions we had. The only negative thing I could say is that the cabinets could use updating, but that would not stop me from renting again. We were very happy with this condo and would recommend!!

"Budget-Friendly Option, but Not Our First Choice

Here's a revised version tailored specifically for a VRBO review—clear, helpful, and respectfully worded for future renters:---We’ve stayed at several Beach Cottages units over the years, and this was our first time in this particular one. With young kids, we appreciated the convenient pool-level location when our preferred unit wasn’t available.**Check-in:**The owner was friendly and responsive, but the process of mailing physical keys back and forth felt a bit inconvenient and less secure compared to other units we’ve rented that offer keyless entry.**The Unit:**The condo was clean but quite dated. Both bedrooms face the back street, which means more traffic noise and less privacy—different from most units where at least one bedroom faces the beach. The beds and linens are older and not very comfortable, and there was a noticeable smell in the second bedroom. The balcony is smaller than others, and the sliding door was difficult to open. The owner did acknowledge it needed repair.**Overall:**While the owner was kind and checked in with us during our stay, we found this unit less comfortable than others we’ve rented at Beach Cottages. It was priced lower, which was a factor in our decision, but we wanted to share our honest experience to help others choose what’s right for them.

Beachfront

Condo was in the perfect spot…access to pool and sun deck directly from patio. Beach just in front of pool and sun deck…perfect private layout to pool and beach. Blackstone and gas grills on sundeck overlooking beach and ocean. Beautiful sunsets from the deck or the beach. Beach chair rentals available…by calling beach chair company…info next to beach access gate…rental chairs are permanently located on the beach. Condo is on 1st level, corner condo. Advantages of daylight shining in from all windows, instead of only front and back windows. Master bedroom bed is a very comfortable bed. Very spacious and open condo. Condo has dated fixtures but that isn’t what a vacation should be about. Everything works and condo is clean. Very quiet complex and must have access code to get into the complex…felt safe and secure. Will be back to this condo. Tom thank you for the excellent care.

Condo is at an great location on island and the unit is poolside. The unit is a nice two bedroom and good price. It is an older unit and could use some updates.

Here Comes The Sun

We had a wonderful stay at Beach cottages. The condo 2101 is absolutely beautiful! The unit is clean, fresh, and free of clutter. The location is right off the pool , making it easily accessible to the parking lot, beach, barbecue grill, and pool. The unit is equipped with everything you could need from kitchen supplies, beach chairs, and even had toiletries to hold you over until you are able to go to the store. The owners communication is top notch. He truly wants you to have a good time and is very kind. The only recommendation I would have is to allow family members and friends to be allowed to visit guests who are staying on the property and I would also suggest some of the security to be kinder to all guests..Indian Shores is an amazing place to vacation!The water was crystal clear and the white sandy beach was clean. There are plenty of things to do in the surrounding areas-Great restaurants, nightlife, shopping, and the beach is absolutely gorgeous!Plan your paradise dream vacation today and make memories that will last a lifetime with your family and friends!.

Excellent location and property

This property is an end unit with balcony that opens up to the huge pool deck. Doesn't get any more convenient than that! Close to Park Blvd when you want to go inland a bit, and close to both Indian Rocks Beach area and Treasure Island for great restaurants. Definitely would use again!

Nicely furnished two bedrooms, two baths with direct access to Gulf Of Mexico. Huge deck with heated pool, hot tub and many lounge chairs. Secured entrance and designated parking underneath condo.

End unit with many windows on same level as pool. Kitchen has all appliances, cooking needs and utensils needed with good sized eating area in kitchen as well as a dining area. Close by to good shopping and numerous fine restaraunts.
