Inside this century home has:
On the 1st floor- a living room, kitchen w granite kitchen countertops, updated appliances, kitchen table, king bedroom, and bathroom.
On the 2nd floor- 2 bedrooms both with queen beds - shorter ceilings upstairs (starts 7 feet high and slope down to 5+ feet). House has central air - runs on a NEST appliance - bedrooms upstairs do not get as cool/warm in this old house but sleeps comfortably - fans are provided for the upstairs rooms.

The outside:
Great front porch w a fenced in front yard with beautiful flowers all around. Weather pending of your stay of course... you will spend most of your time on the porch:)
The driveway is a single lane drive - smaller vehicles can turn around in the back of the drive.

The house was perfect and very close to town. I would perhaps suggest more hooks in the bathroom or another self but it was great otherwise! The owner was very responsive and accomodating.

Second time staying at this cute home nestled in the quaint city of Chagrin Falls. Easy to get to golf courses, shopping and highways. House was clean and neat and comfy. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch.

Great for a couple - but the upstairs bedrooms have a low low ceiling….and only one bathroom for all. Although it’s been updated nicely and there’s a nice front porch. Good stay.

Good value, short walk to town

A little tricky finding the driveway at the intersection but once you do it you’re comfortable. Nice little place, old house charm.

A charming, awesome place!

Our family was in Chagrin Falls for a sad occasion and Trish’s house was a comfortable refuge for us. The beautiful garden and porch are just as nice in person as pictured. A great place to enjoy morning coffee. The inside is very clean, stylish and has everything you need. The beds were all very comfortable. The air conditioning cools the house nicely. Trish was wonderful with communication and response time. We would highly recommend Trish’s wonderful place.

Wonderful house and well equipped

House is very comfortable and obviously well taken care of. Trish is a wonderful host. We’d certainly stay there again.

Weekend getaway

Beautiful property within walking distance of great restaurants, the village, and shopping. It is a three day minimum stay, something to consider. The property is gorgeous with flowers blooming, a pretty front porch to have morning coffee on, updated appliances and bathroom, and comfortable beds. I recommend staying here!

Great place for family vacation

It was close to the town my husband would walk down every morning for coffee. The house is great for a small family. My kids loved the front and back yard they even saw a deer one morning. My daughter loved drinking her hot chocolate ok the porch swing evey morning. The owner was always in contact if we needed her. Looking forward to returning next year.

Gorgeous oasis, great porch and a walk to town!

It’s harder to get a cuter house to rent than this one! We absolutely love sitting out on the porch in the mornings and looking at the gorgeous yard. The inside of the house is also fabulous! Great kitchen, nice furnishings. Great communication with the owner. She even let us pick some fresh tomatoes and green beans! Talk about hospitality. It took about 5 minutes to walk to town, so a great location! Beds super comfy. Will definitely be back!

Cute place!

Super cute house that is very well-maintained right in the heart of Chagrin Falls. Having lived in the area for many years, it was nice to come back and visit this quaint little town. The house Is located close to downtown and easily accessible. It was clean and cute! There was air-conditioning on the main level of the house, but the upstairs got quite warm. However, it’s an old home so that’s to be expected. The owner made sure to leave out specific instructions for their guests. It is clear she takes great pride in her adorable little home! I would definitely visit again!

Attending a family memorial

This house is overpriced for what it is. It felt very sparse. The bedrooms upstairs have a very low ceiling which makes it impossible to stand up. Bathroom was modern as well as the kitchen but, the rest of the house is very antiquated. Communication with Trish was not great. I was asked if I could change my schedule after I booked and then while staying there she lost her car keys and called me to ask to come to the house while I was at the memorial. I felt like I was imposing on them by staying there. They require you to vacuum the house before you leave and put all sheets and towels in the very creepy basement on the washing machine. I have rented some amazing houses through VRBO and this house is absolutely subpar in comparison.

Yes this is an instant booking of a century home - no secrets here - it is quaint. That being said, I refer to get my house back on a Sunday - thus I asked if they had flexibility in their schedule. Which they did not and nothing was changed in the booking. That is called communication. Yes I ask you to clean up before you leave. Disappointed in their review but cannot win them all. Happy to rent my home out.

Overall it was a great space and the location was perfect. My only complaint was how low the ceilings were upstairs. Worked out fine for this trip but had I brought the rest of my tall family they would have had to slouched upstairs for sure. Communication was great and it was a very cute house.
