El ClubHouse of Chagrin Falls se encuentra en el corazón de nuestro pueblo del siglo pasado, a una cuadra del centro de la ciudad. Es una casa de 1400 pies cuadrados, moderna pero elegante y divertida, construida originalmente en 1851. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero la sala de estar es elegante con el plano de planta abierto y con mucha luz natural suministrada por los 7 tragaluces de la casa. Chagrin Falls es una auténtica ciudad del medio oeste, con una vibrante escena de compras y 11 restaurantes maravillosos, una ferretería histórica y una tienda de ultramarinos de vanguardia de Heinens. Hay docenas de boutiques y tiendas de arte. El pequeño teatro Chagrin Valley también es una joya.

The Clubhouse is the best!

Our 2nd stay here and eveything was amazing once again! Great host, great location, cozy spot but with really nice amenities! This place is special and has charm. I really can’t say enough good things, we hope to stay again next year!

Nice in-town cottage

Great, comfortable house for a small family or group. Really nice two block walk into town to restaurants and scenic view of the falls after getting ice cream and popcorn.

Visiting a friend

This is the 4th time staying at Dewey’s Clubhouse. We absolutely love his home. Very eclectic with so much charm. We go there to visit a very dear friend that is battling an illness and the comfort of Dewey’s home makes the visit so much easier. Sitting at the kitchen table, watching the birds, squirrels and chipmunks is so peaceful and serene. Thank you again for allowing us to stay at your home!!

Clubhouse stay

Our family stayed at the clubhouse recently during a long weekend. We had a fabulous time. The clubhouse is super cool and fun to hang out in, the location is terrific and Dewey is absolutely awesome! He is one of our favorite people we have met throughout are many many stays at home away or VRBO properties. Highly recommended to stay here when you’re in Chagrin or the surrounding areas.

Another Amazing Stay!

This was a solo trip for me this time. I've stayed at Dewey's place quite a few times and love it every time. I was able to visit a dear friend and also enjoy the peace and serenity staying at Dewey's. I walked down to the Popcorn Shop and got ice cream and popcorn, and people watched in front of the shop for awhile. I can't say enough about my stay. The home is so comfortable and welcoming. Everything you need is right there. I love sitting at the kitchen table and watching the birds, chipmunks and squirrels. Hoping to get back to Dewey's in the very near future! Thank you so much Dewey for making me feel right at home!

Perfect!

This was our third stay at Dewey's Place. Absolutely love it! I sat at the kitchen table and watched all of the little animals scurrying around by the driveway. So peaceful!! I hope to be back very soon to visit a friend that lives in Chagrin Falls. Thank you again Dewey for sharing your home!

Relaxing and Magical

The house is so close to town! We came to Ohio for a family wedding and having the ability to walk down to town whenever really took out a lot of stress. The popcorn shop was so inviting and everyone working there just lit up when we said we were staying in Dewey’s house. Truly a perfect experience. There were 4 adults and a child. We all slept pretty comfortably and enjoyed watching a movie in the living room before going to bed. Thank you again so much Dewey for allowing us to stay in your home and making this experience one we didn’t want to leave.

Positive Vibes

Anyone can occupy a building and call it their house, but a real home takes on the personality and characteristics of its owner. Dewey's home, filled with the mementos and milestones of a full life, is a reflection of a unique personality. The house is a jumble of rooms separated by steps of inconsistent heights. The old wooden floors creak comfortingly, there are antiques, the walls are filled with paintings and photographs. Everything you might need for an extended stay is at hand. From the front windows, the village of Chagrin Falls rolls out past the river and on to its small square, and from the back windows, one can watch the birds flit among the many feeders. The location cannot be beat. In the mornings after walking the dogs, we would head down the hill into the village. A stellar bakery is about a two blocks away. A local coffee place - don't bother with Starbucks - is situated across from the square. There are shops, restaurants, and a top-notch grocery store all within walking distance.We feel very fortunate that we were able to reserve this property over the holidays so that we could be close to family members. Like the homiest of homes, Dewey's house is filled with warmth and good vibes.Incidentals: the house is about halfway up a very steep street. Great for the glutes when taking a walk, but use caution when pulling or backing out onto the street. We were relieved to have no snow/ice during our visit.

Love this place!

We really enjoyed our stay here, walking distance to all of the downtown restaurants and shops, very cozy with a nice fireplace, great character and relaxed. Kitchen also had everything we needed to feel at home. The host was great and we wont hesitate to stay again!

Right in the Village

Lovely cottage in the village, and the space feels bigger than the pictures show. Charming and quirky, lots of things to admire. Easy walk down the hill into the village. The house is all on one floor but it’s old and built on a hill so there are multiple step-ups and step-downs—-you just have to pay attention! Also great bird feeders and a great yard and patio.

Quaint, quirky, quiet

This house/cottage was ideal for a winter get away - super cozy with the fireplace and full kitchen. Even though situated on Main St. of Chagrin Falls, it was quiet. The layout of the house and decor was super funky and entertaining. I imagine a warm weather stay would be just as inviting with the side yard and garden.

Cool Place to Stay

This was a great place to stay while visiting family and friends for the Holidays. Dewey is an awesome host and told us to make ourselves at home and allowed us to use the fireplace and grill. The popcorn was awesome!! We definitely recommend the Clubhouse.

Charming cottage in great location

My family stayed here for an extended stay due to a renovation at our house and we were very grateful to have a unique, charming place to stay. We loved walking into town every morning and back into town every evening to take my daughter to the playground. Dewey was a wonderful host and we really appreciated his hints about the house and little details he thought of. Thank you, Dewey, for a homey, comfortable place to stay!

Worked well for family of four!

This place worked out really well for a family of four and a small dog. The location is very convenient and the owner has thought of many things to help accommodate guests comfortably. The towels and sheets are in great shape as is the bed in the master bedroom! The place has a lot of character and we're happy we found it!

Best location

I really loved how this club house was decorated, it was just a fun, interesting place to stay. Every morning all sorts of cute animals scampered and played under the many bird feeders. We were delighted to sit in the bay window at our comfy table and just laugh at their antics. Then we were treated to the best shower ever! (I want one now). This home is right next to the town which welcomed us and was lovely. My 75 yr old friend and I walked the charming village everyday. We were greeted by many people, dogs and shop owners. Our host owns a lovely popcorn, ice cream and coffee shop in the center of the village and we were treated like queens in there. We felt quite special. I would like to come again next year.

I'm the proprietor of the Chagrin Falls Popcorn Shop, a local icon in the village since 1949, located right on the falls. I'm divorced and live with my redheaded girlfriend, a 5 year old Brittany Spaniel.

The ClubHouse is located as close as your gonna get to the center of the village with access to 10 restaurants, a terrific boutique grocery store and historical hardware store, plenty of boutique clothing stores and charm.
