Rock Castle is our dog friendly, family retreat that's been opened up for others to enjoy! 4 BR, 2BA with lots of room and a giant fireplace. Sitting on top of Sugarloaf mountain overlooking Rock Castle Gorge, it's close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the fun town of Floyd. A special place that gives you the space and time to slow down and take it easy. With its views, hiking trails, and amazing night sky, it's perfect for a solo trip, couples, families, large groups and their furry friends.

Ultimate privacy on a 290 acre mountain top located right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. At 2887 ft, it is perched on the edge of Sugarloaf Mountain overlooking Rock Castle Gorge.

Beautiful close range views, mountain breezes, giant fireplace, big windows, stone floors & staircase, and 2nd floor balcony. Some hiking trails on the property and great stargazing at night with almost no light interference.

Built by our grandparents in the early 1970's, a lot of the decor is original (think red carpet on the second floor and mustard colored kitchen counters). This house isn't newly renovated or "magazine fancy". It has a ton of personality, great vibe, and all creature comforts covered!

● Well stocked kitchen with refrigerator, new stove/oven, new dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee station w/drip coffee maker, tableware, utensils, glassware, and gadgets. Starter coffee, creamer, and sweeteners set up provided, along with hand soaps, dishwasher soap, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry supplies, etc. Nice linens, comfy beds, and fluffy towels too!
