It is in Tanis, a small village in the bay of Mont St Michel, that we have just moved and that we offer you to rent our house while we are away.
The house is being renovated, the garden lacks finishes! ... but it remains very pleasant and especially in a beautiful environment... Thanks to the photos, you have a fairly accurate overview of it, and we will be happy to make you enjoy its assets! .... 6 kms walk from the salt meadows and the steps of Mont St Michel... everything is happiness for hiking lovers... the GR34 along the coast.!
This 130m2 house has
on the first floor:
living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 bed 140 x 190 and 1 bed 160 x 200) bathroom with sanitary facilities.
upstairs:
1 bedroom (1 bed 140 x 190) and in the large office 1 extra bed (80x190) with shower room and separate toilet... a workshop part will remain private and for this reason we cannot accommodate young children (between 1 and 7 years old)... because there are too many tools lying around... moreover the staircase is not secure...
The extension of the house (visible in the photo) will also be closed because it is above all a sculpture workshop.
You will be able to enjoy a flower meadow next to the house, as well as the view of a pond with four pretty koi carp (not having a barrier for aesthetic reasons, for this reason too, we cannot accept children under 7 years old.... )
You will also have access during our absence to the orchard of 1000 m2 and the chicken coop ;-)... fresh eggs offered in exchange for a little daily care to our darling gallinaceae.
Tanis has many assets... because it is located at a crossroads of the most attractive cities!!
- 7 kms from Pontorson ( Train station with connection to Paris or Rennes )
- 16 kms from Avranches ( City full of history : scriptorial, museums.... )
- 43 kms from Granville ( Seaside town... Christian Dior Museum, Casino...)
- 51 kms from Saint Malo
- 64 kms from Rennes
- 113 kms from Saint Brieuc
- 121 km from Caen
- 136 kms from Cherbourg
The price includes the rental of sheets, towels, bath mats and dish towels for 1 to 4 people (the two bedrooms downstairs).
Above we will ask you for an extra 20 € per extra bed to be prepared.
We will only be able to accommodate small dogs who are used to sleeping in the living room (access to the bedrooms will be forbidden to them for allergy reasons. For the same reason we will unfortunately not be able to welcome our cat friends, ) . An extra 50 € for their stay will be asked of you... which will be much more pleasant than in a kennel!
Concerning the cleaning we will ask you to leave the house in the condition found, to unmake the beds and sort the dirty and clean laundry... or, for 50 €, to delegate this work to a cleaning lady.
All these packages will be paid upon your arrival.
You will find all the necessary equipment for the daily maintenance of the house (sponge, micro-fibers, products... )
We will also be at your disposal in the house, the minimum to start your stay well (soaps, toilet paper, kitchen kit) ...
You will find everything you need in Pontorson, where there are several brands with very wide opening hours (open until 8pm on Saturday and until 12:30pm on Sunday morning;-)
Tanis is ideally placed for those who wish to shine on the margins of Normandy and Brittany.
You can, if you feel like it, walk in the bay, barely 3kms from the house...
or stroll through Granville (the "Monaco of the north")?
or Coutances, charming Normandy towns...
Brittany, on the other hand, will offer you the charms of Fougères, Cancale, Dinard or Saint Malo less than an hour's drive away...
Highlight: a visit to the wonder of the West, Mont Saint Michel and a crossing of its bay for unforgettable memories...
Starting from the small village of Ardevon, you can avoid the large parking lots and walk through the magnificent salt meadows to access this exceptional site.
As far as possible we, or one of our older children, will be happy to welcome you.
In case of late or late arrival, you will find a secure key box.
And with a bit of luck, we will not be on holiday yet, but in a small house right next door.
