Welcome to Our Little Slice of Heaven on the Lake!

Escape to the serene shores of Lake Lure, where your 1-bedroom apartment awaits.

Indulge in the comforts of home with free WiFi, 2 smart TVs, and the convenience of a washing machine and dryer. Prepare delectable meals in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, microwave, coffee maker, blender, and all the necessary dishes and utensils. Savor your culinary creations on the kitchen island or step outside to the porch and enjoy the breathtaking lake views.

As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit and bask in the tranquility of the great outdoors. Unwind with a good book or simply soak in the serene atmosphere. You'll find comfort and relaxation in every corner of your home away from home.

Pets welcome, but please contact us first. We have dogs and this is their back yard. If your dog is unfriendly, please leave at home. We charge $25.00 a night.

Please note there are stairs from the driveway to the apt. and from the apt. to the lake.

We live in the main house. Your entrance is private and relaxing.

This awesome property is on the bottom level of a beautiful 3 story cabin just steps away from Lake Lure! The rental is very clean and spacious. The owners were very welcoming and provided us with restaurant and hiking ideas. We had access to the many outdoor spaces and enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning!

Relaxing hidaway!

The unit is just as described. Mara was great, from booking to checkout. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming from the dock. The views are just what you would want for a lakehouse vacation.

Wonderful Property!

Everything was wonderful about this property! It is an easy drive to restaurants, shops and the grocery store. The home owners live on the top 2 floors and they are very nice and accommodating. We loved having a covered deck with a grill, as well as access to the dock and kayaks. We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing quiet time with our pup

We had such a wonderful time enjoying the gracious hospitality of our host. We had limited time to stay and was accommodated. Had a yummy dessert brought to us to enjoy and Our pup Rusty loved his time at the lake riding in the kayak with dad. Left my new cell charger and Thankyou Myra for mailing it to me💕💕💕💕. We are definitely coming back for another visit 👍

Great lakefront location

We really enjoyed our stay in Lake Lure. The property was perfectly located. We loved being able to swim off the dock with our dog and having access to the owners’ kayaks. Highly recommend this property.

Peaceful Oasis

Mara & Frank were excellent hosts and we had a wonderful time! We had more than enough room to spread out with our two pups, and Mara gave us a great recommendation to try the new coffee & cocktail spot- Grey Hawk. It was outstanding. We will definitely be hoping to stay at Bill’s Bungalow again in the future!

Stay at Bill’s Bungalow

We had a wonderful and relaxing visit at Bill’s Bungalow. We wish we could have stayed longer. The place had everything we needed including plenty of outdoor seating to sit and enjoy the lake. We also took advantage of the kayaks that were available. There were also plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby. We did meet Frank, who was very nice, and Harvey and Beau, but, unfortunately, we did not get to meet Mara. Maybe next time.

Get place for a couple

Bill’s Bungalow was a home away from home. Mara was very welcoming. The property was exactly as the pictures show and also very well stocked. My husband and I used the kayaks everyday. I sat on the dock and watched the sunrise most morning. The bungalow is on a quite cove. Already planning a return trip back to lake lure and Bill’s Bungalow. Perfect place for a peaceful getaway.

Great stay at the lake

We enjoyed our stay. The place was perfect for the 2 of us. The place was very clean and the hosts were extremely nice. We took advantage of the lake used the kayaks. Spent a lot of time on the dock and in the lake. The description of the place is accurate. Great place to relax for a few days. Close to Chimney Rock.

Our 8 days at Lake Lure were great and much needed. It was a very peaceful environment. We spent many days canoeing and sitting on deck at night was wonderful!

Relaxing getaway!!

Bill's Bungalow is a wonderful place to stay...very clean and it has an amazing view! Mara and Frank are great hosts and we had so much fun getting to know them! I will definitely go back!

A relaxing stay

The Bungalow is nicely appointed for 2 occupants. The view of Lake Lure and the dam is lovely. The owners are very cordial. We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to return. But as the owners say, there are many steps.

Wonderful Lake Lure cove stay!

Couldn't ask for a better stay on Lake Lure. Mara's unit was clean, she is very cordial & accommodating, & is very quick to text you back with any questions or concerns. Unit is supplied with everything needed: linens, dishes, pots/pans, hand soap, laundry detergent, and dish soap. Would definitely recommend!

We live on the first floor of the house. There is a floor in between that serves as an art studio and office. We love Lake Lure and are happy to share our boat house and toys with you.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Cozy place for 2. Great getaway for 2 friends, couples or a couple with a small child. We love dogs and have 2 of our own. If your dog is not friendly and or doesn't get along with other dogs, please do not bring him/her. Also, if you are not pet friendly, this may not be the place for you. Our dogs are very sociable.
