Welcome to the Blue Ridge Mountains! This one bedroom studio in the Rumbling Bald Resort is close to Chimney Rock, Asheville, Hendersonville and Tryon. It's the perfect start to adventure or relaxation! The unit has hardwood flooring through the living space and tile in the bathroom areas. It boasts one of the best views in the entire complex.
Apple Valley Villas is a cozy spot with all the basic amenities you need during your visit to the Lake Lure area. The space is equipped with a kitchen, full bathroom and a living room/sleeping area. The tv can be enjoyed from any area in the room. The king sized bed is plenty of space for two people to rest comfortably. If you need additional sleeping area, there is also a sleeper loveseat available. Its double size can comfortably sleep two children or one adult. Almost any meal could be prepared in the villa using the cooktop, microwave or toaster oven. Enjoy a complimentary pot of coffee on your first morning. Step out onto the balcony for a breath of fresh air. Settle into one of the four outdoor chairs and read a good book or just relax.

Guest passes are complimentary with your reservation to access the member areas of the Rumbling Bald Resort, including two outdoor pools (seasonal), spa complex with indoor pool and exercise room, miniature golf, boating, hiking and two championship golf courses. On site restaurants offer delicious and readily available options. All six passes must be left in the unit after checkout or a $30.00 replacement fee will apply.

Fully equipped kitchen. The only thing I expected but couldn’t find was salt and pepper. The place was clean. Mostly modern decor. The balcony was visibly private with plenty of space for the dogs to stretch out and enjoy the sun. It wasn’t intrusive but hearing conversations from other balconies made us conscious of our conversations. My partner was happy with the bed, but as a curvy 56yr old woman with arthritis, the mattress was far too firm. Otherwise, a very nice place!

Lovely getaway

I surprised my husband with a golf trip to the mountains and this stay was the perfect spot. Great location and perfect size for the two of us. Casey is an excellent host and we would recommend this space to anyone looking for a nice mountain getaway!

Apple Valley Rumbling Bald Golf Getaway

The location was great for both of these golf courses. And the condo was located close to restaurants. Guest passes were included and the amenities were more than sufficient.

We love the area and came for our anniversary to ride our motorcycle. The parking lot was perfect this time of year for a small trailer. Casey was very informative and quick to respond. Chimney Rock and Lake Lure holds such a special place in my heart. My grandparents had a cabin close to this location when I was a child. I love coming here and the rental was perfect. It was just what we needed for a short stay. I would be cautious with smaller ones because of the steepness of the parking lot and it’s on a second level. It was not an issue at all, just an FYI. We will be back!

The Lake Lure area has become a very special area to us because of my husband and his family. They grew up coming here and their parents always wanted to own their a property up here. My husband and I took the plunge with them in 2020 and also purchased a villa. We have enjoyed it so much that we acquired this one in 2021.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This is a budget friendly property with the perfect amount of space for a couple or a family. The views from the balcony are beautiful and it's the gateway to explore all that the Lake Lure and Chimney Rock areas have to offer. The added benefit guests have is access to the members only areas of the Rumbling Bald Resort for $5 per guest.
