In the heart of the historic center between Place du Forum, the Termes de Constantin and the Van Gogh Foundation, it occupies the top two floors of a 16th century building steeped in history.

The apartment is ideally located for visiting museums and monuments, enjoying the center, its shops and restaurants.

In the heart of the historic center between Place du Forum, the Termes de Constantin and the Van Gogh Foundation, it occupies the top two floors of a 16th century building steeped in history.

The apartment is ideally located for visiting museums and monuments, enjoying the center, its shops and restaurants.

The apartment is quiet, bright and equipped with air conditioning. The terrace dominates the roofs of Arles without any vis-à-vis for a breathtaking view of the Church of the Prêcheurs brothers, the Alpilles and the Rhône.

It has been completely renovated and designed by scenographer Julie Reilles with chic ethnic decoration.

The building was built on the site of the ancient civil basilica erected in the 4th century AD and a perfectly preserved vault of this monument is still included in the wall of the apartment

The area is 80 m2. On the lower level (3rd floor) is the fully equipped kitchen open to the dining room. The lower level bedroom can accommodate 2 guests with Epeda Palace 160cm bedding and a bathroom with a shower and sink. The toilets are independent and located on the ground floor.

On the upper level, the apartment has a large living room, a bedroom and the terrace. The room can accommodate 2 guests and also has 160 cm Epeda Place bedding with its own bathroom. A cozy space awaits you for lovely evenings in the living room. A convertible sofa from Convertible de France can accommodate 2 additional guests. A large bay window opens directly onto a furnished terrace. You can enjoy unforgettable dinners on the terrace watching the sunset over the city and the Camargue. The Alpilles and the Rhône are also visible from the terrace.

Lovely place with great location

A lovely place in a great location. Lots of steps! Could be better instructions for the appliances in English. Great kitchen, clean and well maintained. Deck was really enjoyable.

Charming little bolt hole with a beautiful view.

Beautifully presented appartement. But be aware there are 3 flights of uneven steps to reach the property. The master bedroom has no real privacy with the flimsiest curtain to cover a glass door. There is only one toilet in what can best be described as a cupboard. Nevertheless we had magical evenings on the terrace and a very happy stay.

Exploring Provence

The penthouse was exactly as described and totally met our needs. The location is close to sites and restaurants, but very quiet and peaceful. The upstairs patio is a delight, but could use some sun shade during the afternoon. It is a 10-15 minute walk from the train station.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es gab keine Beanstandungen unsererseits. Die Lage der Wohnung ist top als Ausgangspunkt zum Erkunden und Erleben der Altstadt von Arles. Die Dachterasse ist natürlich ein Highlight mit Blick über die däher von Arles und auf die Rhone.

Fabulous location in a beautiful city

We had a wonderful stay in the penthouse on Rue Truchet. The patio has a wonderful view of the city, and the view from the bedroom of the river Rhone with sparkling lights at night are views that will stay with us forever! Arles is a great place to see fabulous historical sights and it is easy to take trains and buses to see other great sights in provence.

First visit to Provence

Place recently renovated and with a beautiful taste in decoration. Definitely a lot of history in this building. No elevators and quite a lot of steps to reach the penthouse but is worth it. Very centric and there is plenty of parking lots around. Great communication with the owners and also great help wit everything we ask for.

Beautiful Arles Apartment

This apartment is very clean, conveniently loated and very nicely decorated. Our family of four loved our stay. One thing to be aware of is that when you stay in an old town designated as a UNESCO world heritage site, there are numerous steps, but the penthouse patio and the apartment are totally worth it. A lively city and a wonderful apartment.

Fantastic place in the heart of Arles

Our stay at the Arles Penthouse was fabulous. The accommodations were perfect and according to specifications. The house is comfortable for a family of 4+ with plenty of sleeping spaces and dining table for all to enjoy a gourmet meal from the bounty at the local-famous market.

Even better than expected

The apartment is exactly what you see on the pictures presented. The kitchen on the lower floor is big, well equipped and great to take care of your own cooking. And the view on the upper floor is unbeatable. The big window overlooking Arles brings the atmosphere right into the living room.

Arles City Center Stay

We spent four nights at this apartment in early October of 2019 and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of traveling to Arles. The location is within walking distance to all of the main sites and many great restaurants. The terrace was a great place for sun sets and star gazing.

Zentral gelegen - Stadt (Arles) und Land (Provence)

Wir haben die Zeit wirklich genossen - dank der Unterkunft die zentral gelegen ist. Die Stadt liegt einem zu Füssen - Die Provence rundherum. Selbst zum Strand ist es nicht weit. Die Wohnung ist eine Dachwohnung - aber sehr gut gekühlt mit Klimaanlage - Terrasse hat kein Sonnenschutz - Morgens und Abends geht es aber - Sued/Westsicht. Mückenschutz mitnehmen. Die Stadt ist abgesperrt fuer Autos - man sollte Zeit Planen für die Ankunft und der Abfahrt - 15min Fußweg zum nächsten Punkt um das Auto zu ent/beladen. 15eur/Tag extra Parkgebuehr fuer ein Parkhaus einplanen (20min zu Fuss) - Angebot des Vermieters unbedingt annehmen. Parken in Arles's Strassen ist beschränkt auf 10Stunden pro tag. Alles in allem - Super.

Delightful!

The unit is modern with ancient architectural details. It includes amazing rooftop and river views, while being steps away from historic sites and restaurants. Damien and Nelly responded promptly to our questions during our stay. Arles is a great choice for those wanting to have an authentic Provencal experience.

Localisation parfaite au calme en plein coeur du centre historique. L'appartement est en Duplex avec 2 grandes chambres. La terrasse est unique, la vue à 360°C sur les toits et le Rhône est magnifique. La cuisine de l'appartement est parfaitement équipée.

Beautiful apartment - great location with great views!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment. It is nicely furnished, good kitchen and in a convenient location of historic Arles. The deck offers nice evening view of the town, great for settling in with some wine and local delights from the nearby market. The apartment is quiet and the top level bedroom has a beautiful view of the Rhone. We slept with the windows open. One note is the beautiful stone spiral staircase up the four level offers a challenge to those with some luggage or have difficulties with stairs. We had no needs, but the owner was very responsive before and after the visit, offering suggestions for local dinner which we enjoyed - sitting outside at nearby Le Bryn de Thym.

Stylish Apartment in a Great Location

The apartment is located on the top floor of a typical building of the era and is accessed by a beautiful spiral stone staircase. It is in a great location being only a few steps from the Forum where there is a multitude of cafes and restaurants to choose from but as it is in a pedestrian lane is still very peaceful. The shopping area and all historical sites are also very close and the Rhone promenade just round the corner. The apartment itself spans two levels. The views from the top level lounge area and bedroom, over the roof tops and the Rhone are spectacular. It has been recently renovated and decorated in a modern style but keeping a hint of the heritage features. It is spotlessly clean. All the amenities needed in a holiday home are available including high speed Wi-Fi. Each bedroom has its own modern en-suite bathroom with rain shower but one point to note is that there is only one toilet which is off the dining area. A small improvement that would make longer stays more comfortable is the addition of hanging space in the upstairs bedroom and drawer space in the downstairs bedroom. The modern eat-in kitchen on the lower level overlooks an internal courtyard. It can comfortably seat six, is cool and light and has a great selection of appliances and utensils. The roof top terrace is delightful and a great spot for breakfast or an evening aperitif, but as there is no cover or awning on the long days of summer it can be very hot in the afternoon until sunset. Nelly the apartment caretaker was a delight. The owner Damien was also very responsive and accommodating and very helpful.

Loved loved this place. Fabulous location. Fantastic views of gorgeous Arles. Well appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds. Be prepared for a hike up some very old, steep stairs. Part of its charm. Lovely owner. A total winner!

Bel appartement, tout confort et bien placé. L'appartement est très lumineux, également la nuit et au petit matin vu qu'il n'y a ni stores, ni volets donc pour ceux que cela dérange, c'est à prendre en compte !

Lovely apartment with a stunning view

We made this apartment our base camp during our visit to Provence and had a wonderful time. The apartment very confortable and quiet ! It is decorated and well furnished. When we were later than expected arriving, Nelly met us after hours to give us the keys. The owners were quick and thorough in responding to questions about the apartment both before our stay and while we were there.We would definitely stay at this apartment in Arles again.
