Recently remodeled beach front home, perfect for family getaways! Large cedar deck for relaxing conversations and waterfront sunbathing, complete with outdoor kitchen and dinning area. Just steps from the deck you can feel the sand in your toes on your own private beach. High tide provides wonderful opportunities for swimming, kayaking and other watersports. Low tides reveals an expansive sand bar for walking and exploring. Inside find a spacious first floor great room with antique kitchen, two bedrooms and 1/2 bath. Second floor offers a large master bedroom with views of the ocean and a balcony to take it all in. Laundry room and full bathroom. Third floor loft provides privacy and incredible views and sounds of the ocean waves to fall asleep to. **We only list our house on VRBO, if listed elsewhere it is a scam**

Our stay was fantastic at this beautiful beach house. It was very comfortable and the private beach was so much fun. Lots of sand bars and tidal pools to play in for the kids. The home also has amazing sunsets. Communication was excellent with owners. We hope to visit again!

Great place on the beach! Enjoyed the sound of waves and the soft sand beach. The twin beds are on the third floor, via a ladder.

Sand bar sanctuary

Amazing property, completely renovated cottage with all the modern amenities. My family of 6 had a great week at the beach looking for some much needed rest after a busy spring. We enjoyed the beach and all Old Saybrook had to offer. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in sleeping in an ocean front house for a week!

Excellent experience

We were extremely happy with the rental. The view was beautiful and the house was exactly as it was depicted. The owners were very responsive to any needs or questions we had. We would efinately stay here again.

Amazing trip!

We first visited last September and had such an amazing time, we knew it would be a place we came back to. This second trip was even more amazing. House / grounds are so beautiful and well kept, beach location is perfection, sunsets were spectacular and hosts were very responsive and accommodating once again. You simply can not go wrong staying here. Our family made many more wonderful beach memories! Thank you, Deems family, for sharing your piece of paradise!!

Absolutely breathtaking

My family had a wonderful stay at this house. The hosts were very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The house is simply amazing. The beach access is amazing and the beach is perfect for families and adults alike. The hosts were very helpful in getting settled and we will absolutely stay there again. I am still dreaming of the sunsets and dinner on the patio. It’s a house that deserves respect and has a ton of love put into it. Cannot recommend high enough!

Fantastic Beach Location

Great location. Wonderful house. Very responsive hosts. Had a problem with the grill on the first day that they straightened out the same day. Third floor loft is accessed via a steep ladder so very young kids on their own would need to be supervised. House is very updated inside and out and is just like the pictures. Beach is right outside the door! Highly recommended

Nothing Else Like It

The house is lovely and perfectly setup for good old-fashioned family fun time with all of the amenities you would hope for in a beach house. The outdoor kitchen actually made us want to stay home and cook. The sunsets are unmatched - especially at low tide. The entire community goes out and strolls and heart feels full. And the homeowners, Christina & Aaron, were prompt in every communication. Activities we enjoyed included swimming, fishing, sand castles, biking, swimming and creature watching. We also saw those with kite surfing, Sea-Doos/Jet Ski and paddle boards. I would love to come back again!

Amazing in every way

We had a wonderful time. This property is in the PERFECT location and has everything you need. Views and beach access are incomparable and we really enjoyed the patio. And several meals in front of the sunset in the outdoor kitchen and dining. The Deems family was very quick to respond with a couple of questions we had. And were so easy to work with. Charming and wonderful cottage home made for a perfect family vacation. We will be back and are already counting down the days!!

Lovely Beachfront Home

Our family had a great week at this lovely beachfront home. Very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. This was our first time using an outside shower and everyone chose this one instead of the in house shower. It was quite an experience to shower under the sun with the sounds of the ocean surrounding you. We enjoyed sunsets on the deck and many meals on the outside patio with it's full kitchen. In a few steps we were on our own private beach and enjoyed walking the sandbars. A wonderful time was had by all!!. Jane G. August 2022

Charming Beach Cottage

Our family had a wonderful week and the house. It was clean, well stocked, a beautiful beach and outside kitchen which we enjoyed using. From the time we arrived until the time we left we were the energy of the house was warm, comfortable, and fun. I would recommend this gem to everyone. TY

A delightful stay!!

One of the prettiest properties if not the prettiest on the beach! It has lovely landscaping which offers some privacy and overall natural beauty.

This is a very special place to us where my wife and I raise our three children. We are relocating to Florida and need to be there for the first week in August which opens the house up for rental. We are testing the waters as we have never rented our home before this listing. We hope to find the right people to enjoy and care for it as we do to welcome them back each year.

Beachfront property is always special but what made us fall in love was the changing tides, kid friendly beach, the beautiful sunsets over the water, the sea breeze and so much more. It has been a labor of love to bring this home back to life after we bought it and it contains many special features such as the antique kitchen, outdoor shower, outdoor kitchen, loft, master bedroom balcony and so much more!

Scenic roads for walking and biking, access to beautiful Fenwick golf Course, short drives to the Casino and gaming resorts, outlet shopping, local fine dining, train station and more. Our beach offers amazing swimming and boating, exploring the sandbars at low tide, kayaking or paddle boarding in the miles of salt marshes and bird sanctuaries.
