Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located loft. Detached Guest House is striking distance of the best SanDiego has to offer. Walk to Hillcrest & Balboa Park dine @ the best restaurants in town. Zoo, Coronado, Gaslamp & Downtown it’s all at your fingertips.
Soaring 15 foot ceilings and comfy queen bed with canopy and small futon. A stones throw from the airport, train, I5 & bay. Perched at the summit of Mission Hills w stunning views of the bay, Coronado Island and the Pacific beyond!
Other things to note
We are just starting up as hosts and are looking forward to welcoming you to SanDiego.
The loft is situated in a very quiet pocket of Mission Hills. The views from the property are striking and we are offering a clean and peaceful space to take it all in. We have a toddler and a baby in the main house and our cat occasionally wanders the property.

There is typically ample street parking . No smoking permitted anywhere on the property. While we are animal lovers, we do not allow pets.

If you require a travel crib, changing station for little ones let us know.

Had a lovely experience! Appreciated all the extra touches of wine, cloths steamer and bathroom accessories! The bed was very comfortable and the warm pastries were delicious! We’d stay here again!

Perfect little spot. Easy access to several restaurants and pretty local to a lot of different things. Hosts were wonderful! Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay

I had a very good experience staying here. Very friendly and responsive to my needs. Great location. The family gave me great recommendations for breakfast close to the VRBO. The next time I'm in San Diego I will book the VRBO again.

At home in Lark Nest

The hosts make your stay very pleasant and are friendly and accommodating. The location is ideal for exploring all that San Diego has to offer. I will look to book at this place upon my next return.

Ari was a fabulous host! He responded quickly and was very accommodating. The property had everything we could ask for, was clean and well decorated, and so conveniently located! The added personal touches the hosts provided made our stay that much more enjoyable. Wonderful experience all around!

Great Conference Condo

Needed a short stay for a conference in San Diego. Great little place in an nice neighborhood with nice neighbors too. Clean, Tidy and nicely decorated. Host was so accommodating and professional! Located 8 minute walk from Midtown green-line station with great access to downtown. Thanks!

Great room with a view

I enjoyed my weekend stay and loved the view. The host was very accommodating and left me a nice croissant at my doorstep at checkout. There are small kids there, but they very thoughtfully provided earplugs among many other items. It also happens to be a stone's throw from a really great barcade where I had a blast reliving my childhood.

Perfect quaint getaway

This is a perfect little studio FROG (finished room over garage) with a view. Has a very comfortable bed, 3-piece bathroom, tv, adaptable kitchen and tv. Ari and Tatyana are so nice, they make the space so comfortable—and even leave little croissants by the door in the morning. The location is perfect, you can get to all the best places around town within 5-20 minutes depending on where you want to go. We will absolutely be back!

Lovely Lark Nest

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay in this wonderful, charming bungalow. It was everything we needed for our 4 day stay in beautiful San Diego! The bed was so comfortable and the view from the big picture window was fantastic. There was everything we needed and many extras as well! Besides the coffee maker, microwave, and little fridge, there were some little snacks, bottled water and even a bottle of wine. Ari and Tatyana were very nice and helpful! We will stay again when we visit San Diego!

San Diego Stay

This was a great location for us - close to the airport, old town, and theme parks. Mostly, it was close to family! Ari was so friendly and they definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had snacks, drinks, and anything else we might need. For my partner, myself, and my 6 year old daughter it was great. Sometimes it's a struggle in one hotel room, but we felt perfectly safe putting the kiddo to bed and taking a short walk and watch the planes. By the time we came back she was asleep meant we could have a well-rested little one for our fun, busy days. Overall a great stay. Thank you, Ari and Tatyana!

Former San Diegans Home for a Wedding

My boyfriend and I flew into town with my sister to attend our nephew's wedding at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park. We chose the property for its central location, wonderful views and reasonable price. We were extremely pleased walking around exploring the beautiful neighborhood with lots of interesting mission architecture and fabulous restaurants nearby. I highly recommend Ruth's or The Huddle for breakfast! The unit itself was stocked with every amenity we didn't even know we forgot at home so all was well. The only things I would suggest to make it even better is a second mirror outside the bathroom and perhaps an extra mattress/cushion for the sofabed. The middle section where it folds down and is reinforced is a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, our hosts were friendly, kind and easy to reach. We're looking forward to our next stay!

The best stay we’ve had all year, and that includes both hotels and private properties! Everything about it, from the surrounding area to the inside of the room is just great! You have access to everything! The room was spotless and the welcome snack basket was a very nice touch! Did you forget something? No worries, odds are they’ve got you covered! From chargers to q-tips & cotton rounds, you’ve got nothing to worry about! The room has a nice view and catches the breeze well. We have the habit of sleeping with the windows open but you’re likely going to want to close them here as the windows are pretty heavy duty and offer noise-cancellation which means you’re going to get a good nights sleep! We’ll definitely be back!

Two people, two day stay.

Lovely little unit. Well located. "Entire guest house" is a bit of a stretch. "Compact studio above garage" would be more accurate. Ideal for us as we only really needed a place to sleep. Hosts really make an effort with a basket of sweet treats and a nice few items in the wine fridge. Bathroom also well stocked with toiletries. It's located in a quiet neighbourhood but you will hear planes, trains and automobiles in the distance. It wasn't enough to disturb us. It's a ten dollar Uber to downtown SD and the popular Gaslamp quarter. And the zoo is a similar distance away. Nearest "urban center" is Hillcrest which is a ten minute drive or 30 mins walk. No laundry facilities so, based on the host's advice, we used the wash n go on Hillcrest which was excellent. We got about 3 loads of laundry done in 90 minutes.
