Bachelor Village Resort en Century Drive 'the road to the mountain': a 5 minutos del centro de Bend y del Old Mill District para ir de compras y comer bien --- a 20 minutos del monte. We like the Mt. Bachelor Village location and have stayed in several places here. This unit is well appointed and Brad the owner was very accommodating. The unit was clean, no troubles with the TV or WiFi. We already have booked the same unit for later this July as well.The only things I would say could be improved was both shower heads had fairly low water pressure (still usable though but I suspect just old and a bit clogged, maybe new heads would improve it). A few more wash cloths would be nice as we ran out but did wash them in the washer. The was no soap provided for that but we brought some.

Are plans were centered on mountain and downtown Bend activities. This property made for a perfect location to stay close to both.

Choice Location

Great location for access to Mt Bachelor or Bend. Well appointed unit with nice view. Hot tub was an appreciated bonus.

Nice condo

This is a nice condo in a lovely quiet resort 10 minute walk to the river and a 25 minute walk to the centre of Bend. Like others have said, this unit does need some updating, especially the bathrooms. Patio furniture also needs replacing as it was cracked and broken in some places. We were perhaps unfortunate with some communication and cleaning issues. Although tidy, there were some cleaning issues. Our first clue came when we used the shower that evening only to find the towels were stained and dirty. We did find some clean ones and switched them out. The bed was 'made' but turned down like you sometimes get in a hotel. There were no cleaning materials so we went and bought some the next morning. Arrived back to find the cleaner waiting outside. They had been given the wrong date for our arrival and the condo had not been cleaned nor had the bed been changed from the previous guests! To be fair to the cleaner, maybe a more thorough clean would have been done had we not already moved in but there were surfaces that looked like they had not been cleaned and the balcony area seemed like it had not been cleaned in a long time. Some windows and sills were dusty and had cobwebs(inside and out). I know outside furniture gets dusty but the cloth I used was black after wiping it down. I would still recommend this unit but it could be so much better if the communication, cleaning ( particularly balcony) issues were addressed and some updating undertaken.

My husband and I loved our stay in this condo! The space is clean and inviting, and the view is wonderful. We will stay here again when we return to Bend!

Spacious, comfortable condo in Bend

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo. Even though we are less than 5 minutes to shopping and restaurants, it feels like we're in the forest. It is convenient for skiing. We loved the hot tub on the balcony. Everything was clean and in order.

Ski week stay

Place was exactly as stated. Great location to head up for skiing and into town. Owner was very responsive to any requests. Would stay here again. Great views and close to walking down by the river.

Bend Ski Trip Jan 2024

Property was in great location, close to river, restaurants and Mt. Bachelor for skiing. The unit accommodated a family of 4 with plenty of room for all. The kitchen was good for cooking meals but would recommend to add some cooking oil and generic spices to use and a pair of scissors.

Airy, well appointed condo - easy drive to Mt. Bachelor

We enjoyed our pre-Christmas stay in Bend - the condo was spotless, with many amenities (hot tub on the deck, jetted jacuzzi tub, fireplace, easy parking) and very roomy for our family of 4. The views from the back deck and hot tub are beautiful, we saw a few mule deer milling around. It was very easy getting on the road to Mt. Bachelor. Given Bend traffic, being on the "correct" side of town was a big benefit. Don was very helpful.

Great location

We went for thanksgiving break. If you are up for a little longer walk you can walk to old mill district. Pretty view from the living room, bedrooms and hot tub. Kitchen seemed to have everything we really needed, we stayed 5 night and cooked all meals, no seasonings but everything else we needed. The front door took a little bit to figure out. Plenty of towels, new oven, looked like new couches, carpet everywhere but kitchen and it seems new and/or well taken care of, the refrigerator was always wet inside, not sure what was going on with that but over all a great little 2 bed 2 bath. We would book again. I only talked to Don before checking in but he was very friendly and encouraged us to call with anything we might need.

Beautiful View Off Back Deck

My husband and I stayed for a week. The unit was very clean. But also quite outdated. And the owner said in his review of his property that it hadn’t been updated. Great location. Easy access to the gorgeous area.

Love to fly fish the many rivers and lakes in the area. Been skiing here for years, since the 80s. There are Mountain bike/hiking trails galore. I lived at Mt. Bachelor village for many years at a smaller unit we owned for a while, #207 at one of the ski houses. My father just passed away in October 2024 and I have taken over managing the property. My name is Brad and I am Don Carr's son. I just had a heart transplant last year and am looking forward to getting active again and spending more time in the area myself. You may see me staying in unit 604B the lockout room which is strictly for owner use. Our garage is also for owner use only and I have several items stored there. You probably won't even know I'm there but if you do see me feel free to say hello. I'd be happy to give you some local tips on where to go on the many ski and Mt. Bike trails, rivers, lakes and golf courses in the area.😉 I also know where all the secret powder stashes are at the mountain so if you're a good skier/boarder I can tell you some good places to go. Enjoy your stay at the village and perhaps I'll see you out on the trails or water in the area and hopefully soon on the mountain. 😄
