Large, modern family-friendly West Side home
Beautifully remodeled 5BR/3BA home on Bend's Westside. Perfect for families, in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to the shops and eateries on Galveston strip and Northwest Crossing. Walk or bike a bit farther and you're at Drake Park (on the river) and downtown Bend. If you're looking for nature or exercise, the Cascade Highlands trail is right outside the door, providing immediate access to walking, hiking, and mountain biking. More of a skier? The Mt. Bachelor turnoff is 3min drive away!
This house is perfectly set up to accommodate families looking for a longer stay in Bend (30+ days). This spacious house backs up to a land easement, offering a natural and peaceful setting year-round. Watch the deer and quail wander past!
Downstairs you'll find an airy and spacious kitchen with all the modern appliances and amenities (gas range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, instapot). The kitchen is open to the dining and living areas. In the living area, multiple comfy couches surround a wood-burning fireplace (with gas starter!) and flat-screen 4K TV. Downstairs you'll also find one bedroom (with full bathroom next door) set up to double as an office.
Upstairs you'll find the primary bedroom with a new Casper mattress, walk-in closet, and en-suite bathroom with soaking tub and rain shower. Down the hall are three additional guest bedrooms (one queen and two twin over full bunk rooms, one with crib) and another full bathroom with walk-in shower. All bathrooms have been recently remodeled with custom tile work and brand new toilets. All bedrooms other than the primary have new Tuft & Needle memory foam mattresses.
And then there's the bonus room! Set up as a play room for kids or a separate living and entertainment space, or just a location to relax and watch the sunset from the chaise couch. It's fully stocked with toys, picture books, and HD TV. The couch is a memory foam pull-out if you're in need of a little extra sleeping space.
Off the dining area you'll find the back yard. The yard is being professionally landscaped in August (photos of the yard coming soon!), and will offer a shaded dining area under a cedar pergola, gas fire pit, water feature, gas grill, and kids play structure!
Other amenities:
- 3-car garage with plentiful gear storage
- Laundry room with top of the line washer and dryer
- New furnace and A/C
- Fully fenced backyard
- Two desks in separated spaces to enable remote work
Guest access:
Guests will have the entire place to themselves. Guests will self enter by accessing a key in the lockbox. A garage door opener will be available once inside. There are 6 parking spaces on site (3 in the garage and 3 in the driveway) plus plentiful street parking. This is a safe, family-oriented neighborhood with great sidewalks for walking and strollering. Multiple parks/playgrounds are within walking distance, as well as shops and restaurants.
Other things to note:
Sorry but no pets allowed. In the winter, please take off wet or muddy boots at the door.
