Perfect for that romantic getaway or sporting individuals whose hobbies coincide with the area's natural bounty. Boat slips can be rented separately, if rental availability allows. While staying, take advantage of all that Southwood Shores has to offer. Including the following: heated indoor pool, indoor hot tub, Main Channel lakefront pool w/ sundeck, lake front promenade, swim dock with lake access, concrete boat launch ramp, business center, onsite clubhouse, children's playground and tennis/basketball courts. Same Day Early Check-in and Late Check-out are available if requested as long as rental reservations allow.

The property was just as described in the lisitng. It is a small condo, but was perfect for a weekend away as a couple. Shannin was very responsive to any questions we had asked and provided clear check in and check out instructions.

Very quiet, very cozy, very comfortable. Shannon's communication was excellent in the check in process. 2 steps up to the condo was all that we had to climb. AC and ice box both were in great working order.

This property is cute & cozy and sits back at the end of the water. It is wonderful for quiet mornings on the deck, watching wildlife, and fishing. The pool was great for night swims since it was open until 12. Great little place! We will be back!

Cute condo by the lake!

Very pleasant stay in a well appointed condo. The condo was close to shopping, grocery, restaurants and winery with a tasting room (Shawnee Bluffs). Property clean inside and out. We enjoyed the outdoor covered patio, grill, overhead fan and lights overlooking the lake. Parking was close to our unit. Very clear instructions on what needed to be done checking in and out. Looking forward to staying there again!

Quaint and quiet

We loved this unit! It’s on the corner of the building at the very end of the water. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the turtles, fish, and groundhogs! My only suggestion would be to put blackout curtains in the bedroom. Would definitely stay here again!

Best unit in the complex!

The unit is super cute, and the location is perfect! End unit, in a small choice of back water - it was quiet and easy to access. We loved watching the fish, turtles, ducks from the deck. The check in/check out process was easy and well documented.

Nice Place - Peaceful setting!

This is a very nice place and being on the end of the building it was quiet. The deck provides a view of the lake and a quiet wooded cove. Easy access for fishing or just walking along the lake.

The property had a pretty view and the pools were nice. The condo was very very dirty. I have pictures! Also it said it would be a fit for 3 and there are enough places for 3 people to sleep but it was super crowded and shouldn't be advertised as ok for 3. Also is was very loud upstairs early in the morning. Must have been cleaning or maintenance but they were stomping around up there at 7 am. For the price I paid I at least expected it to be clean. Next time I will just book a hotel and get free breakfast and have a place to do laundry!

Nice facility, very small condo

We have stayed at other condos on this property, so we already knew we liked the location and the facilities. The pool is right on the lake with a beautiful view. As far as this particular condo goes, it was nicely decorated and furnished. I will say, having the front door open directly into the bedroom is awkward. The bed was not terribly comfortable, but ok. The kitchen is uncomfortably small. It's difficult to wash dishes because there's really nowhere to put them to dry, but if you're planning to mostly eat out, it's fine. The value for this property is not great. We stayed at another condo just a few doors down last year and it cost considerably less and was much larger - it still lists for considerably less than this property. We had to book much later than usual, so in a pinch, this condo was good. Communication with the host was great and she kindly accommodated us very quickly when we needed to change the date by a day. This condo is the furthest from the pool and parking can be difficult when the condos are fully booked. I'd love to see at least one space reserved for each condo, but that's a property management issue, not a condo owner issue.
