Island Sands se encuentra en una de las playas más bonitas de la Florida. La arena es BLANCANIEVES (ver fotos) y listo para que los huéspedes disfruten.

ESTA UNIDAD ES golfo frente con balcón privado - la vista es increíble, sin obstrucciones entre usted y el agua. Fue construido PARALELO A LA ESMERALDA VERDE AGUA y situadas lo más cerca de la línea AGUA que permita la ley del condado de Okaloosa !! La playa es menos de 30 pies de esta unidad !!

Estaba decorado con comodidad y tranquilidad en la mente. Los colores son sutiles y relajante. Es a la vez divertido y la fantasía con las palmas, conchas marinas, rayas y lunares.

Esta unidad cuenta con un dormitorio doble con baño privado. El salón tiene dos sofás-cama de matrimonio por lo que hay mucho espacio para dormir. El salón se abre con 6 'puertas que dan a un balcón privado con vistas a la playa y al mar. Hay mesas y sillas para su comodidad, mientras que en el balcón.

Tiene una gran cocina, comedor y sala de estar equipada que fue diseñado para sacar el máximo provecho de la hermosa vista a la playa y el océano. Esta unidad cuenta con todos los electrodomésticos habituales que hacen que el embalaje más fácil, incluyendo microondas, frigorífico, lavavajillas, lavadora y secadora, tostadora, licuadora, cafetera, utensilios de cocina, 36 'HD de pantalla ancha plana, TV, DVD, VCR, reproductor de CD, y hierro. También se proporcionan sábanas, jabones y productos de papel. Ahora tenemos servicio inalámbrico a internet.

The property was older but the condo was very clean. Very quiet building, which was perfect for us! The views grom our balcony were amazing.

Family Vacation

The balcony and view was the most amazing part of the condo, and it is in a beautiful location… however, the supplies (such as towels and toilet paper) were limited. The newer washer and dryer were very nice - which came in handy. There was an issue when we first walked in - we contacted the owner, and by the time she responded we had taken care of the issue.

What a view and access!

What a peaceful, serene location away from all the commotion closer to Destin. Amazing view and the utmost convenience to the ocean. Loved having beach chairs and umbrellas set up for us in the morning. Didn’t need to use the pool but it looked inviting.

As close to the water as you can be

This beach get-a-way was probably the most convenient one we have had. Close assigned parking, very short walk to the beach; less crowed beach and beach chairs/umbrella provided. The only negative here is that it is showing its age. I would stay there again.

Beautiful view of beach

Very nice view and location steps to the beach. Love the smaller condo and new balcony. Beach service was very nice to save your spot each day. Condo has most items except laundry detergent so we didn’t get to use new washer. Only a small gas station is closest so one would need a car to get to all restaurants and shopping.A black out curtain would be nice in bedroom to reduce brightness at night and increase privacy. Condo could use some updating with painting to get rid of mold on ceilings in bathroom and refresh. We had a great stay and would def return.

Mom and son getaway

At first there was miscommunication to the cleaning after others left condo. But gloria did great job communicating and had done immediately. Very nice place. The people very friendly. Lots of things to do nearby. Family, couples and with kids.

Not up to par!

Let's start with the good: *beautiful beach *great location/quieter than Destin *had everything needed to relax *owner quick to reply (at first) Cons: *the bedroom overlooks the hallway & very close to stairs which isn't bad except there was only ONE curtain panel so there was not privacy in the bedroom. I had to get on a table and remove a curtain panel from the family room so no one could look into the bedroom, and I could safely change with assured privacy! Not OK!!!! *towels were gross. Spotted with what looked like dried mold. I would not use them! They were not going anywhere near my face or body. *floors were quite dirty and left my feet black so I had to clean the floors *garbage in kitchen was not emptied from prior renter. Not a huge deal, but still worth noting. *deck was just remodeled (which is great), but all the wood shavings were left behind so no barefeet on the deck. *I contacted the owner immediately once I realized the issues. She did not get back to me until the next day. She was very apologetic, and kind! *No smart t.v. so you are stuck watching commercials, and can't watch your own preferred programs.

Good property owner, not a great building

When we checked in, the unit had not been cleaned. We had to sleep on the couches because the bed was dirty. The owner, Gloria, was great. She offered us an extra night in the condo to make up for the inconvenience. I contacted her and she got a hold of the cleaning company. The lady from the cleaning company was not friendly. She seemed upset with us that we wanted the trash removed that was left from the previous renters. I would not recommend that cleaning company. The pool was very dirty and was not cleaned the whole time we were here. Will not stay at Island Sands again.

Great condo-great location

The condo was lovely. Just steps to the beach. Lots of fun nearby—mini golf, go carts, and tasty restaurants. Condo owner was communicative, helpful and friendly prior to and during travel. We’ll be back next summer.

By way of introduction I am a recently retired bookkeeper. Until now I worked for the City School System in my hometown, Tuscaloosa, Al.. Being retired gives me the time to put all of my energy into the rental business. I rent daily & weekly accommodations in Florida, Gatlinburg, Tennessee and guest quarters for Special Events in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.. Renting these units are satisfying and provide a service that is needed and appreciated. The extra bonus Is I meet people from all over the United States. I started this rental business in 1988. My goal is to give every guest the best accommodations at the best rate. When my guests are happy, I'm happy!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I fell in love with Okaloosa Island when I watched an engineer build a huge sandcastle on the beach one afternoon. The castle had candles inside the tunnels and a moat surrounding. It was quite a work of art. I watched until the emerald green waves washed it away at dusk. I was hooked, no pun intended! The sand on the beach was so white, the sunsets amazing and the town was perfect. It had everything to offer within 3 miles. It was 6 miles from Destin Harbor so had the same emerald green water as Destin without the traffic. The unit itself was large and had a huge balcony overlooking the Gulf. One of my loyal snowbirds describes it as a "'Million Dollar View"'.

This unit is decorated with comfort and relaxation in mind. It is tasteful but fun. It is larger than most one bedroom units because it was built before they began to run out of beach so is roomy and has all the amenities needed. The amazing ocean view can be seen from the kitchen, eating area, living room and private balcony that overlooks the Gulf.
