The property will still have everything you need to work or relax year round. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms, although the ensuite master bath is on the small side. A very spacious gourmet kitchen, high speed internet and a dining room for 6 or as a temporary office work area. The backyard highlights magnificent views of Peavine Mountain range. Stepping out of all rooms on the backside of the house to a fully furnished backyard. Complete with a firepit, seasoned wood, BBQ, dining table and two separate seating areas. Enjoy those views with your morning coffee or in the evening sitting around the backyard firepit.

This retreat was very well taken care of and very comfortable. It was well stocked. The check in process was very easy. We especially loved the back patio area. It was beautiful with great views. It was also close to everything we needed. I highly recommend.

This place is perfect - just as described, beautifully decorated, super clean, very accommodating hosts. Was perfect for our four day work visit. Convenient location, all the amenities needed, very nice outdoor space - we would be happy to stay here again.

Very comfortable, great location

We were in town for a family funeral and didn’t actually spend much time at the property, but it was very comfortable and nice to have a quiet spot to return to in the evenings. It was a great location for us.

This place was such a cute little abode with plenty of space for my family. The layout of the house made it feel cozy and connected. The backyard was great, perfect for watching the sunrise, hanging out, or gathering around the table. The location worked out really well for moving my daughter into UNR — minutes away from the grocery stores, gas, and all the essentials she needed for school. As a bonus, Lake Tahoe was just about an hour away, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We really enjoyed our stay!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time staying in home! Catherine was very responsive to any questions we had prior to and during our stay. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Wonderful, Quiet, Clean - Higley Recommended

I'm happy to have chosen this property for my family & I. We stayed for a week and everything was great. The property is very clean & the nights were quiet & peaceful. Tucked away with views from the private backyard yet just a short drive to shopping & anything around the Reno/Sparks area. Several little details like some great books to read & games to play made the stay even better. We'll stay again.

Excellent experience

Our last VRBO in Reno was a huge disappointment and we were hoping for a clean, uncluttered, quiet, comfortable accommodation this time. This property measured up in all respects and we really enjoyed our 10 day stay. Hoping it will be available for our next visit.

My husband enjoy entertaining, so it seemed like a natural to add hosting at our property to our list of day to day activities.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This property was considered the haunted house on the block. Bars on the windows and door, roof and fencing was coming down, backyard full of garbage, not to mention the rotted out bathrooms. But, upon entering the house I realized it had great bones, a beautiful backyard view and it was located in a great neighborhood. It has been a labor of love restoring the house to contemporary standards and a place I have truly come to love.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

While the neighborhood is an old one - homes built in the 50's-60's, it has a nice family feel to it and is under gentrification. The backyard is always a pleasant surprise, the views of Peavine mountains are majestic and peaceful.
