Moulin de la Scierie, au fil de L'eau, Jura, Franche-comté

This is the story of three Swiss friends, Jacques, Georges and Pierre, who, in search of a building at the foot of the water, fell in 1988 under the spell of this historic mill installed since 1857 on the banks of the Seillette, a river with a peaceful river. After several years of renovation and restoration, where each step was an adventure, the three friends naturally wanted to share this place of rejuvenation nestled in the heart of the Jura Bresse.

The building is located at the end of the village of Ruffey-sur-Seille, quiet, in nature and without any direct vis-à-vis. The centre is a 10-minute walk away with a bakery, grocery store and butcher.

Travellers have access to 300m2 of living space (first floor and 2 floors), a terrace, a patio, a large meadow with a petanque court, a large orchard and the river. It is an ideal place to meet with family, friends, small or large groups.

The mill can accommodate 13 travellers + 2 cots. The price shown is based on an occupancy of 10 people. The price per additional person is 10 euros per night.

An extra charge of 100 euros is required for cleaning as well as a 100 euro deposit that will be returned at the end of the stay if everything is in order.

The accommodations are composed of an entrance hall, a cloakroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with pellet stove on the first floor (1 pellet bag/day provided), a living room/TV on the 1st floor, three bedrooms with two single beds, a bedroom with a double bed, a dormitory with five single beds, two baby cots, three bathrooms with shower/toilet/sink and a laundry room with washing machine.

Bedding is provided and beds prepared on your arrival (take your personal towels).

PGJyPgThe accommodations are 3 km from Bletterans where you will find all the amenities and services if necessary. Ruffey-sur-Seille is also close to Lons-le-Saunier, Dôle, Beaune, Dijon, Baume-les Messieurs, Château-Châlon, Louhans...

The region is bucolic, peaceful and very natural, ideal for gourmets, cultural activities and outdoor activities: hiking, cycling, fishing, canyoning...

The lake of Desnes is 10 minutes by bike from the Moulin offering several leisure activities: Jura splash, pedal boat, supervised swimming, picnic area...
