Lago Michigan Waterfront Condominium

Condominio de aire acondicionado en primera planta con acceso directo al lago Michigan playa de arena de azúcar. La unidad se encuentra en la zona más meridional de The Homestead Resort. Amplias puertas correderas de cristal pasan por alto Sleeping Bear Bay y las Islas Manitou. La suite principal tiene cama de matrimonio y baño aa gran tamaño adjunta. La habitación también está configurado con una cama de matrimonio. El baño de invitados incluye una ducha completa y está situado justo al lado del pasillo. Una cocina completa con microondas, lavavajillas, frigorífico con máquina de hielo, un gran comedor y cómoda sala de lavandería está incluido. Los ventiladores de techo en los dos dormitorios y sala de estar proporcionando gran ventilación, pero para maximizar la comodidad nuestra unidad cuenta con aire acondicionado. Es uno de los pocos que tiene este servicio.

Durante los meses de verano, se mantiene un horario de domingo a domingo. Durante el resto del año, un punto de partida el domingo es preferida y la tarifa estándar se reduce para estancias de 3 o más noches.

Huéspedes recientes han utilizado palabras tales como 'perfecta', 'inspiración', y 'impresionante' para describir su experiencia de vacaciones en nuestro condominio. Nuestra nieta mayor afirma "Este condominio es sólo un paseo desde el cielo. Por la noche se puede ver la puesta de sol sobre el hermoso Lago Michigan creando colores mágicos ". Nuestro hijo menor dice que le gusta la comodidad de la mini sofá.(dos plazas) El condominio da directamente a Sleeping Bear Bay y las dunas de arena. Glen Arbor y pueblos cercanos de Leland, Suttons Bay y Northport ofrecen excelentes restaurantes y tiendas. La prístina Crystal River está a su puerta trasera y el majestuoso Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore rodea la zona con vistas increíbles e impresionantes. Mientras que del complejo Beach Club no está disponible para los inquilinos, varias de sus tiendas al por menor (incluyendo su Spa) junto con sus restaurantes están abiertos al público.

Excellent view from kitchen/dining/living room. Our only issue was uneven heat/air where bedrooms/bathrooms were concerned. I followed directions, to the tee, for the 3 thermostats to control the comfort of the space. I had to replace batteries in one of the thermostats and it made no difference.Our host was great to work with, sending clear, concise, emails to make our stay a memorable one. Just need to work on the heating/cooling issue.

"South Beach" condo on Lake Michigan in Glen Arbor

Beautiful condo/property on the beach. Panoramic view of the lake from rear windows of condo. Very clean unit. Gorgeous kitchen. Very well equipped, including W&D, great A/C and Weber grill on the deck/patio. Unit faces west so you can enjoy sunsets over the lake. Host/owner is super nice/helpful!!

Great location, cozy condo, beautiful beach

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was in pristine condition. The nightly sunsets were not to be missed. The beach was lovely and uncrowded. And we enjoyed exploring nearby Glen Arbor and various hiking trails.

Beautiful place!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo! The setting is spectacular and the condo is nicely outfitted with a stocked kitchen and comfortable furniture. This is one of the nicest Homestead condos we’ve rented and we look forward to returning!

Bluewater Paradise

We have vacationed at Southbeach for many years (1997) and by far this property has exceeded our expectations and any of the other properties that we have visited. The Owner has been hands on through the entire process and clearly take great pride in the ownership of the condo. The recent renovations eliminated the compartmentalization of the living spaces; was well thought out functionally and provided a bright and beautiful rendition of Lake Michigan.

Great Views and Relaxing

Stayed 12 days at this condo. First thing we noticed was the cleanliness 😀and then the beautiful view! Had great sunsets and saw a few storms coming in. Very quiet and peaceful. Lots of great hikes and the bike trail is a little over a mile from the condo. WiFi is great! Everything you need is provided:). We will definitely stay again!

So relaxing and quiet!

We have stayed at multiple properties at the Homestead and this is probably our favorite. Very comfortable and clean. We love this area of northern Michigan.

Pure Michigan Sunsets!

Property is perfect size for 3-4, no one on top of one another. The property has a incredible view of the lake and we had spectacular sunsets 6 of the 7 nights we were here. Couldn’t ask for better weather. Kitchen is perfect size with everything you need to make dinner. Beach is 50 yards from the patio. Glen Arbor is a great little town, just a short 10 min bike ride to all the shops, just over a mile. Loved our stay and everyone we talked too were so friendly. We will be heading back soon. Steve, Eva and Renee P.S. You have to go to the Farmers Market on Tuesday to get the best Croissants, they are incredible!

A beautiful spot in the Lake Michigan shore. I would definitely rent this condo again.

This unit is perfect if you are looking for quiet amongst natural beauty. The condo is nicely appointed and very comfortable for our family of four. Glen Arbor is also a great place to visit. I would rent this condo again.

The condo was exactly as advertised. Fantastic setup, clean and quiet. We really enjoyed the sunsets on the deck, the location to town and the many trails and sights on the peninsula. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you (owners) for sharing your home with us.

Great location!!

Great centrally located condo right on the beach of Lake Michigan. Convenient to wineries, Traverse City, Leland, Sleeping Bear Dunes. Owner takes extra effort to ensure a “homey” stay, providing little extras such as Kleenex, coffee filters, soap, tp, etc. We will definitely return.

Wonderfully Refreshing!

The condo is great! Clean, tastefully decorated, and a great place to relax and unwind. My favorite part has to be the sunsets over the lake. Wow! I have never seen a more spectacular sunset than what I saw a few steps from the deck of this condo. A crescendo of colors, from black to blue to red, to orange, and finally to yellow loudly and elegantly announced the setting of the sun. It was like a symphony--inspiring, delightful, and invigorating!

Fantastic place to stay!

Our family of five recently spent a week in this condo and found it to be the perfect vacation spot! The location was incredible...steps from the beach with a view that cannot be beat! The condo itself was very well appointed and comfortable. Highly recommend this as a place to stay. The owner was so easy to communicate with and gave us helpful tips on sites to explore. We are definitely planning to come back next year...maybe for more than one week!

Beautiful condo in a spectacular location

This condo comes exactly as advertised on VRBO. It looks out on Lake Michigan, the Manitou Islands, and Sleeping Bear Dunes from a covered deck, a perfect spot from which to observe sunset. Actually, we spent much of the day on the deck, reading and watching the surf. The condo is immaculate and well-appointed with great views of the lake through the sliding glass doors that line the lakeside wall of the unit. While there are other condos in the building, the patios are situated so as to provide privacy. It is conveniently located for the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail (for biking and walking) that extends for many miles northeast and southwest of Glen Arbor, and is at most a 10-minute bike ride from town. While the beach is not wide, it is easily accessible for walking or kayaking. Nearby Good Harbor Bay and beach is excellent for beach walking. Glen Arbor is a charming town with great restaurants and shopping. The owner was easy to work with, responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this condo; just don't sign up for the week I want!

Beachside fun!

This property is just wonderful. The condo is spotless and well appointed. The deck has steps leading right to the beach! We spent two summer vacations at this property and loved every minute, the sunsets are fantastic, the beach is tight at your feet and the adorable town of glen arbor is a short bike ride or nice walk away! The owners are lovely and super helpful too.

Great Condo

This was a very nice condo. Accommodated two couples very well. Beautiful setting overlooking lake Michigan and sitting literally on the beach. We have stayed at the Homestead complex several times over the past 30 years. Working with the owner went very well.

Excellent Choice

We spent a lovely week at this condo and could not have been happier. Well appointed, clean, great location for everything this lovely area has to offer. Beautiful beach right outside the door with the most stunning sunsets I can remember. We have been traveling to this area for many years and this is one of our favorite spots that we have every stayed. Glenn was a pleasure to work with and we look forward to our next visit.

What a beautiful condo! We really enjoyed the amenities and view. There is a lot to do in Glen Arbor. One of our favorite places. Bike the Sleeping Bear Heritage Trail. Drive the scenic "Pierce Stocking drive through the national forrest......bring your camera! Climb the dunes, Kayak the Crystal River. You can rent Kayaks in town at a very reasonable price. Arts Tavern is a fun local watering hole and has THE BEST breakfast in town.....bring cash, they do not take credit cards. Cherry Republic is a must if you like cherries! Just relaxing on the deck or strolling the beach is also amazing. We already booked for another vacation there! Thank you Kathy and Glenn!

Currently residing in Tennessee my wife and I enjoy returning to Glen Arbor several weeks each year. The area is protected by the surrounding Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore and offers a multitude of outdoor attractions. We enjoy the nearby golf courses, a bike ride on the paved Heritage Trail, or simply relaxing on the beach. Lately, we've added boating on Glen Lake as well as sailing on Grand Traverse Bay.

In addition to all of the outdoor activities, the changing of the seasons, including the solitude of winter, has been a source of stress relief. Nature, with all of its power, makes your daily life a little more meaningful.
