Disfrute de Glen Arbor en esta casa histórica de 4 habitaciones / 3 baños única y muy fresca que tiene capacidad para 12 personas. Esta casa perteneció al fundador de Glen Arbor y es una pequeña parte de la historia de Glen Arbor. "Barefootin" es una excelente casa y se puede llegar caminando a una hermosa playa del Lago Michigan por un camino de tierra tranquilo. La casa de 2 niveles está orientada al este, ubicada en River Rd. (M-22). Duerme hasta 12.

 3 amplios dormitorios en el piso principal cada uno tiene 1 cama doble. Las amplias habitaciones de estilo abierto para dormir arriba tienen 2 Queens y 2 Twins más TV. Cuarto de baño en el nivel superior con gran ducha a ras de suelo. Cocina completa con lavavajillas y mesa comedor para 10 personas. Lavadora secadora. Direct TV (servicio limitado en los meses de invierno / primavera), DVD, WIFI, estéreo para toda la casa con conexión para iPod. Electrodomésticos nuevos, muebles nuevos, decoración nueva! ¡Oh mi! >
 Afuera, disfrute de la magnífica terraza y el área del patio. Simplemente perfecto para una reunión alrededor de la hoguera al final del día. Frente al río Crystal justo al otro lado de la calle de la casa con 2 kayaks provistos. Parrilla de gas y pozo de fuego.

Un gran lugar para quedarse cuando quiera disfrutar de Leelanau. A solo 5 minutos en coche de la escalada Sleeping Bear Dunes. A 5 minutos a pie de Sunset Point Beach en el lago Michigan, con excelentes vistas del norte y el sur de las islas Manitou. M22 está a media milla en el corazón de Glen Arbor, donde puedes cenar, comprar e incluso jugar al mini golf. Bocce bola y croquet para diversión al aire libre. Los juegos de mesa están en la casa para esos raros días de lluvia. Camina por la calle y alquila una bicicleta para recorrer la zona. Putt Putt & Paddle también se encuentra a poca distancia a pie para divertirse en el Crystal River.
Remodelada con una mentalidad "verde", esta casa cuenta con accesorios de baño de bajo flujo, CFL y contenedores de reciclaje.

Aire acondicionado central. Se proporcionan ropa de cama. Su mascota bien educada es bienvenida. Perfecto lugar de otoño también! No te arrepentirás de alojarte en esta hermosa casa.

Este es un alquiler de domingo a domingo para las mejores semanas de verano. Estancias cortas disponibles fuera de pico. Los fines de semana del Memorial y del Día del Trabajo requieren tres noches.

Old house with lots of character and tons of space for large groups. Location was great, although on a busy street. Walking distance to beach that allows dogs. Kayaks across the street right on Crystal River. Walking distance to The Mill.

There were 10 adults that stayed very comfortably. We really enjoyed that is was stocked with so many things to make our stay enjoyable: books, games, puzzles and the kayaks were great too. The kitchen had everything you could need and the house was comfortable and decorated well. 10 minute walk to town, 2 minute walk to the beach and having The Mill right across the bridge was a huge bonus. Would absolutely stay again!

Comfortable house for our big extended family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 3rd time we have stayed in this house, and enjoyed it once again. The kitchen is well-equipped, but it would help to have more dish towels. Also, there were too few bath towels. We missed the hammock in the backyard. We appreciated all the board games, and especially enjoyed the Lincoln Logs.

Quaint stay

We had a great time at Barefootin on 22! The Great Granddaughters loved the upstairs bedroom. Close to all the quaint little towns to explore.

The location was very convenient to Glen Arbor (walking distance) and many other locations. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, the most pleasant surprise - 3/10 miles up the side street is a public pet friendly beach that is never had too many people. We had 6 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs - never felt like we needed more space. No reservations in coming back.

The house is spacious, full of charm, and has plenty of character. It easily accommodated our large family and even our small pug. We loved being just a short walk from beautiful Lake Michigan and downtown Glen Arbor. The yard games provided by the host were much appreciated. The only reasons I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 were the proximity of the house to the road and the number of cobwebs we noticed.

Glen Arbor Historic cottage

It was beautiful and spacious. We all enjoyed the opportunity to enjoy each others company but also have space of our own. The kayaks were fun and the beach was very close! Just a suggestion- would be great to have oven mitts and kitchen towels but otherwise great!

Great Glen Arbor Vacation

The house is right on M22 but still felt like a cozy getaway. Plenty of space for our large extended family to relax in and out. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious enough for a few cooks to create wonderful meals. Highly recommend it for a large group of older kids and adults. Matt was a great host and available for questions!

Great option for families.

It is, as described, a historic property, so do not be disappointed by lack of a modern floor plan or furnishings. Main floor is spacious, and very quiet despite proximity to M22. The upstairs suite was great for two grandsons and their parents. We all enjoyed congregating on the back deck, and the short walk to the Lake was a special feature.

Beautiful location - spacious home

This home is ideally located for kayaking the Crystal River (across the street). The dune hike is a short drive away. The quaint town of Glen Arbor is less than a mile away. Lake Michigan sunsets are less than 1/2 mile away. Home was very large and had a nice set up with a hangout space upstairs

Lovely Beach

Short walk to a GREAT beach!! We loved walking up the beach into the town of Glen Arbor in the mornings to get our coffee. House is very roomy. Beds are comfy. Upstairs is huge, it was great for our college age kids. Outdoor area was a bit overgrown and road noise was loud, so we walked down to the beach for most of our outdoor relaxing. Location is a good launching point for visiting all the nearby towns.

Home Away From Home

I cannot say enough good things about this place. THE LOCATION!!! It's a 5 minute walk down our street to lake Michigan, the river across the street you can kayak, and a 15 minute walk to town. The house is amazing and so much space for 12 people. We came here for our friends birthday and it was the perfect place for us to all be together. We will absolutely be back

Great house in Glen Arbor

House was great size & had everything we needed for a 3 family trip in late summer. We didn’t have any issues during our stay. Wish check out time was a little later or flexible, but understand the cleaning of this large house takes time. Booking was easy & mgmt company thorough. The house is a short walk to swim or watch the sunset at Lake Michigan. About 1 mile walk to town for a bite, brew, or browse of th shops.

We felt the same inviting, cozy atmosphere that we felt years ago. The space is so large for our family and dogs and we love the walk to the beach. Lots of room to spread out and so close to town and bike trails. We are buying a home in Glen Arbor but will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family!

The 10 friends enjoyed the very large living and dining areas. The kitchen and baths have been updated; watch your balance on the shower tiled floors though. The owner was very responsive and brought over a new toaster and coffee pot the day after we reported it. Management was very responsive also. Would recommend this house for a large group.

Upon our arrival we found the house was not all that clean. Hair in the showers, dust everywhere. One of the first floor bedrooms could not be used due to the slumping mattress. The couches in the main room were also slumping and uncomfortable. Lack of vents in the bedrooms made it very warm.

The kayaks were an unadvertised treat. So close to Lake Michigan or town makes this a prime location. If you don't want to paddle to the lake, just carry the kayaks down the road 1/4 mile to a private beach.Our only 'not so great' comment would be to ask the cleaners to get the dust & webs from the light fixtures, doorways and corners more often. But it is a great home with lots of character.
