Great Location

Had a wonderful stay. Property was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Location was perfect. Quick drive to just about everything.

Location worked put well for us. Parking was easy during our late June stay. Communications with Kat were seamless. She was pleasant and responsive. The unit had everything that we could need such as beach chairs, towels, foil, zip lock bags, etc. The tub was not operational and so I wish that that was stated up front as that was 1 of the big draws to wash my 1 year old. We did have a cleanliness issue with the fridge seal which Kat quickly offered to clean up. With slightly better cleaning and minor upgrades to the unit this unit would be AMAZING. It suited our needs for our trip and we don't have any regrets about staying here. We were a party of 5.

Favorite on St.Croix

We have always stayed at Pelican Cove, love the pool and location. First year we had a 3 bedroom and loved it. The condo was well equipped, clean and the host was very responsive and checked in with us after we got here. Will definitely book again!!

Pelican Cove is Fantastic

Our Condo in the English Building, 2nd floor, was perfect for our family visit. Kathleen was an excellent host for us. The condo was super clean, beaches walking distance, and a wonderful pull. The Condo complex is safe and secure and all the other residents/guests were very nice. The only negative was the jet tub not working in the condo and the hot tub not working at the pool, but that was insignificant given the wonderful amenities at Pelican Cove.

Christmas in Paradise

This condo was perfect for our family Christmas vacation. We loved the location and how easy it is to get anywhere on the island. We love the pool area and the easy access to a beautiful beach. The condo is roomy, clean and stocked with everything we needed. The property is also very well maintained. The manager was available to answer any questions we needed. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great stay; With some upgrades would be perfect.

Host was very responsive before booking, prior to trip and during it. We had a pretty major issue occur mid-week and she was on top of it, as was maintenance at Pelican Cove. It could have made for a pretty disastrous experience but they took care of it pronto. The condo is spacious and has everything you need for a beach vacation. And the view off the balcony is magnificent. However, the Master bath and bedroom are in need of upgrades. The other bathrooms are nicer than the Master, and the Master only has a Queen bed, which most people would not expect. We certainly didn’t so that was a big disappointment. Also, the Master bed is very unstable and uncomfortable. A couple of the posts are loose and the mattress is very hard. Some newer furniture in the living room and on the patio would be nice and really take the place to the next level, but otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Great condo!

Have rented from here twice now for work colleagues. Works out great every time bc location very convenient to everything we need and the condo is well outfitted. The complex is very nice. Would stay here again.

Great get away

We were presently surprised with the cond and beach area. The manager Kat was extremely helpfull in answering our questions. I'm not sure how locals can afford to live there as everything is extremely expensive!

Enjoyable

It was wonderful to be so close to the beach. The property was perfectly suited for two couples and kids. I really appreciated the kitchen set up, utensils, and barbecue. KAT was very responsive. All in all this was a great trip.

A little piece of heaven

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The view was better than it looks in the photos. The back porch is amazing, and you can hang out and chat with family. It was nice to sit and look at the waves. If you walked down a little further, you could’ve gone swimming. Quiet and just a lovely vacation in general

Worth the value

We were very happy with the property location. The condo was just as described. Beach front was convenient with no seaweed. Kat, the host, was very attentive. Our only possible complaint was that the guest bathtub didn’t hold water, but my inventive spouse was able to fix it temporarily. It was perfect for a large group and we would do it again.

Nice and comfortable

Unit was big and comfortable. Easy access to many beaches. Beach at location had too much seaweed built up but we enjoy the other beaches. Kat was attentive and responded to a few issues we encountered. Everything you needed for the beach was avaliable. Will certainly will return.

Very nice with a beautiful patio looking out at the ocean. Kat did a great job making certain that things went well. Had a problem with washer and Kat offered to do our laundry while waiting on the installation of a new washer and dryer, which was done in reasonable time. Would stay again and certainly would want Kat as the manager.

STX at it's Best

Great location! Great host! Minor details: Property is older and near the ocean so lots of corrosion on most silver/nickel finishes in restroom/bathroom. Patio furniture also weathered/mildew stains and water from AC unit drips on patio floor causing puddle, so we didn't spend time on patio. I guess you could just place pool/beach towel on patio furniture so you can enjoy patio. The ocean view is beautiful! Host is very responsive!

Great trip

The condo was everthing described and stocked very well. Access to the pool and beach were easy and the Palms restaraunt is in walking distance. The bed in room one is in need of a new bed. The jacuzzi tub did not work and found out on day before we left the dishwasher did not work. The T.Vs are almost impossible to get any channels to work. Other than these few things needing addressed it is a great place to stay.

Wonderful St Croix at Pelican Cove

This is a great central location and the pool was clear and refreshing after a day at the beach. Marco (groundskeeper) was very friendly and opened coconuts for the kids. The condo had all the facilities we needed. It was a little dated and the master tub was out of service. But would definitely stay here again. Kat, the rental contact, was very friendly and responsive to our questions. Thanks so much Kat! We lived on St Croix for 6 years and the unit wast just above two of our dear friends old condo. Brought back lots of memories.

Huge oceanfront condo

We are family with 19 & 16 year old boys who wanted separate bedrooms & this place was perfect. The space was decorated island tastefully (although could have less faux plants for my tastes) and was comfortable. It’s older and could use some floor & bathroom updates but was clean. Beds were comfortable, clean linens, extra towels, all we needed in kitchen, laundry, huge outdoor gallery to watch the waves on, pool was nice although no pool service at the time we were there and THREE bathrooms! The beach was small and rocky but pretty to walk along. Apparently during late summer months sargassum tends to collect and decompose. Some resorts won’t clean it up but this condo kept it under control so just watch for that when you are choosing a resort. The Palms Restaurant is sort of on property and descent food but don’t go if you’re in a hurry. Just be prepared to wait and have an extra island drink or two while waiting for food. The complex is ten minutes from Christiansted and we ended up going there for food the rest of our stay. Rent a car while here to avoid taxis. It’s really not that difficult to drive on the left side of the road, everyone drives slow anyway. We do not usually drive ourselves on vaca but followed advice to get car from Judi of St Croix. Super glad we did! The management company was super amazing to work with. We changed properties mid-vacation because the sargassum was so bad down the beach that we couldn’t tolerate the smell INSIDE our condo. They rushed around and got cleaned for us in less than six hours. Kat was super understanding and accommodating and we would never hesitate to stay in one of Blue Sky RE managed properties again! There was an issue with the dishwasher one day as we were walking out the door and before we returned from lunch (on a Sunday), she had it fixed, dishes washed and even washed the towels we had thrown down in the kitchen floor. Overall great trip to get scuba certification. This condo is centrally located but closer to Christiansted. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this exact unit again.
