Bright 3 bedroom Cape cottage

Well appointed three bedroom cottage. Open living room, dining area and kitchen with cathedral ceilings. 2 full bathrooms plus outdoor shower. All 3 bedrooms on first floor. Recently updated with new dishes, glasses, pots and pans, kitchen utensils, beds, furniture, sheets and towels. Air conditioning units in all three bedrooms or enjoy the fresh Cape air.

Outdoor includes large picnic table with umbrella, 4 Adirondack style chairs and a Weber grill. Croquet set and bocce set for outdoor fun. 2 parking spots.

Convenient to Truro beaches (bay side and ocean side) and the Cape Cod National Seashore (40 miles of pristine beaches, marshes, ponds and uplands). Truro beach passes available through Truro Beach Office and passes for the National Seashore can be obtained on-site or from the National Parks Service.

For golfers, a five-minute drive to Highland Links (https://www.highlandlinkscapecod.com/), a spectacular 9 hole course high on the bluffs above the Atlantic. Bus stops right in front of house for quick and easy access to the art galleries, restaurants, boutiques and activities in Provincetown.

The house was ideal. It was well appointed, nicely decorated, very clean, and everything worked!!!!! Especially for elders with mobility issues, finding something with one level (2 stairs to get into the house), close-by parking, and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower really made our family vacation work. The kitchen was well stocked (lobster pot - yes!) and it was great to have not just linens provided, but also laundry pods, shampoo, etc. Each bedroom had a separate AC unit so there was no squabbling about the thermostat. The small back yard with the Adirondack chairs under the tree was a lovely spot. Love that there was a keypad entry so no one could lose the key. Also love that the house is on the free shuttle route for getting to P-town. When we walked in and I saw the bottle of wine on the table, the spare reading glasses on the counter, and the footstool by the couch (I'm a hair over 5' tall), I knew I'd found the right place. I had no problems with communication with the owner, payments, or checkout. It was all easy. I hope this place is available every time we come to the Cape.
Modern yet cozy. Looks just like the pictures on the website.
Kitchen had everything we needed; laundry - complete with detergent - was a plus.
Simple yard with shade tree in back.

Great little cottage

This cottage was the perfect size for 3 adults and 1 child. Well stocked, and comfortable. Definitely will be back again!

Amazing place to stay. Nicely laid out house that fit out whole family really well. Kitchen had all the conveniences of home so we could cook easily. Very clean and overall great feel. Close to both bay side and ocean side beaches. You could also take the bus to and from Provincetown from right out front of the house. Can’t say enough about how wonderful this house was!

Half Shell Truro MA

This is a beautiful cottage and so clean. Plenty of space in and out. Shuttle comes right by the cottage to take you pretty much anywhere you want to go. We would stay here again.

Wonderful stay!

The cottage was so nice, very cozy, and the perfect space for a small group of friends to visit and vacation together! The homeowners are very accommodating: we greatly appreciated their warm welcome and the tips and guides they left for us. They were incredibly responsive and a pleasure to chat with. We were about a 15 minute car ride out from some awesome attractions, and loved visiting the places they recommended (like Cahoon Hollow Beach!). The only thing I will note is that the internet was spotty, but we didn't mind as we all wanted to be off the grid and enjoy some quiet time. We're looking forward to visiting again next year :)

home away from home!

we settled right in to this cozy home! no detail was overlooked as it's obvious the homeowners take very good care of the house and property. It was ideally situated out of the hustle and bustle of Provincetown - but just a short drive (or bus ride!) away from the FUN! less than 2 miles to the most beautiful beach. Everything is EASY in this home - very clean and modern. We all loved the board games and open floor plan - lots of laughs and plenty of relaxing. We can't wait to return!!

"Half-Shell" cottage a full on great time

We recently spent a week at the "Half Shell" , and highly recommended it for a Cape Cod getaway. The location in North Truro was relaxing & serene, but also close to the beaches, sights & restaurants of Provincetown & Truro. Quick access to the shuttle bus was also a plus. The home itself is lovely - super clean, comfortable bedding & furniture, a well stocked kitchen, updated baths, and very relaxing outdoor spaces. The hosts are super attentive to any questions or needs. We hope to be returning to the " Half-Shell" soon. Five stars!
