Mustard Seed on Broad Street is a beuatifully remodeled 1930"s cottage. Located just 2 blocks from Historic Downtown Guthrie. Walking distance to most all of Guthries top things to see and do. Private off-street parking with a long private driveway, great for larger vehicles.
The house has a bright open living area and kitchen, large landscaped backyard and deck, great for outdoor dining and relaxing. Rocking chairs on the front porch to relax and enjoy the beautiful Guthrie evenings!
the house features a master bedroom with a large modern attached bathroom on first floor. Upstairs you will find the second bedroom and bath.
Full kitchen with all of the amenities you may find at home.
We are close to so many wonderful things and yet just a short drive off 1-35
Grocery store 3 blocks away along with multiple places to dine or pick up something and bring home. Enjoy the incredible historic architecture and original red brick street of the downtown along with so many more sights.

Cute Little House

This is a cute little house and very close to town ~ Guthrie, OK. I loved the kitchen! I would definitely stay here again if I am ever back this way. Very charming and quaint.

So perfect!

I’m a repeat fan of the Mustard Seed House - came back for my second stay in Guthrie. I love the quiet neighborhood and beautiful look and feel of the house!

If you’re staying in Guthrie, look no further!

Although I was only in town for a couple of days, this was the best home base I could ask for. Everything was absolutely beautiful, home-y, and very comfortable. I got into town during some very crazy weather (high winds and wildfires) that took out internet, cell service, and shut down the highways for hours. So the check-in process was a little wonky, even then; the hosts were very gracious. I would not hesitate to book this property at any point in the future. Very impressive!

Beautiful Home

I want to start by saying this home is 5 stars and is absolutely beautiful. That being said I would like to share my experience with other renters so they are informed. I rented a 3 night stay in this home for myself, my wife, and my mother so we could visit my 2 sisters. We are originally from Oklahoma but now reside in Tennessee. When I booked this listing I was asked the ages and number of people in my group which my mother is in her 60s and myself and wife are in our 40s so there was no issue there. The home owner told me that there are no more than 4 guests allowed at the house to which I agreed seeing that the VRBO listing says no more than 4 overnight guests. We were enjoying a nice visit in the middle of the day with my sister and having a great time. Now keep in mind this is 4 people in the home. When my 2nd sister arrived, being the 5th person in the home, within 10 minutes my reservation was cancelled and I was kicked out. I got a message from the homeowner saying you need to contact me or VRBO to which I did immediately. She then went on to explain that she was kicking me out because I had broke her house rules and seemed to be slightly panicked saying “I just don’t think you understand the rules”. To be fair in our correspondence before renting the house she said no more than four guests at all times to which I acknowledged but tried to explain that I had misunderstood and thought it meant overnight guests which is stated on the VRBO listing. There is a neighbor that watches the house that she says is her “property manager” and there’s also a ring doorbell which she uses to watch people come and go. After a 45 minute back-and-forth she agreed to let us stay if I asked my second sister to leave putting the occupancy back down to four people. I also would like to say that the homeowner was never rude or out of line but I found it ridiculous I was kicked out 10 minutes after my second sister arrived without so much as a phone call or text message. I am a five star guest and have stayed all over the country with VRBO and never had ANY issues. Once again I was in violation of the House rules but it was honestly a mistake and a misunderstanding. I never thought that having two sisters over in the middle of the day to visit would warrant me being kicked out in my stay canceled. I would like caution future renters if a fifth person shows up or if you plan on having five or more people, your stay will be terminated immediately.

Picture Perfect!

I wish I had more stars to give this beautiful home. We were only here for 2 days, but this wonderful place made us want to stay longer! The renovation was wonderfully done and made to function like a modern home with an open floor plan and modern kitchen. The decor and attention to detail is what made it feel so comfortable and relaxing, like you were staying in a spa. We wanted for nothing. Even individual makeup remover packets were left in the bathroom which turned out to be a blessing. We absolutely adored this place and will only stay here next time we are in Guthrie. Thank you so much!,

Getaway

This house is wonderful! Beautiful renovation of a 1930’s bungalow. It was calming, relaxing, exactly what we were looking for! Great shower!! Beds, linens and towels were all so nice and comfortable!! Owners were quick to answer questions. We had never been to Guthrie, but were all charmed by town!! Great getaway!!
